Definitions

  • the invention relates to a straight connector for Hollow profiles with the features in the preamble of Main claim.
  • Such a straight connector is from the EP-A-0 283 689. He is for hollow sections of Spacer frame designed by insulating glass panes and has a body that several in the insertion direction of the Hollow sections has aligned sections and center stops.
  • the connector has a center wall and two on it adjoining side walls with several at the same height positioned retention elements in the direction of insertion the hollow profiles are arranged one behind the other.
  • DE 295 11 885 U1 shows a similar straight Connectors with center stops and at the same height arranged retaining elements.
  • the staple has the straight connector additional openings in the center bar for the passage of Brackets.
  • US-A-3,643,989 is concerned with angled or stubby connectors for furniture parts.
  • the Connectors only have more than one side successively arranged retaining elements, which are in the existing plastic wall of the plug-in spaces or Cavities are to claw.
  • the connectors are made Made of a plastic body and have one-sided a receiving rail for a laterally inserted and frictionally held metal plate with an angle exhibited, resilient and sharp-edged lances, which form the retaining elements.
  • the connector On the opposite Side, the connector has a flat and smooth Carcass wall, with which rests against the cavity wall. To one To buckle thin plastic walls of the cavities too The lances can be shaped differently Own leading edges.
  • the invention solves this problem with the features in the main claim.
  • the staggered arrangement and the mutual distance of the retaining elements transversely to the direction of insertion on both side walls have the advantage that the retaining elements can engage at different locations on the adjacent side wall of the hollow profiles. This improves the retention of the connector in the hollow profile because the various retaining elements exert their retention function in greater numbers and more uniformly.
  • the staggered arrangement may be all or just one Part of the retaining elements be present. She is in front especially on the side walls of the carcase sections present, because these retaining elements together on a Side wall of a hollow profile act.
  • the Retaining elements on at the other side walls or Carcass sections act on other hollow profile walls.
  • the staggered arrangement of the retaining elements is preferably designed as a height offset. This is before especially for the usual connectors with an im essential rectangular cross-sectional contour of advantage. Furthermore, the inventive design also brings Advantages for the connection of rungs profiles and the Desiccant flow at the junction with it. This is due to the improved fit and hold of the Connector in the hollow sections cheap.
  • the height offset is preferably continuous and uniform large.
  • the retaining element with the largest height can optionally in the area of the center or the outside Face of the connector lie.
  • the following Retaining elements are then each in a continuous row arranged lower. This can at least the Retaining element with the highest height also edge in the height above the side wall of the connector protrude and for additional clamping of the connector in the hollow profile or transom profile.
  • the connector can otherwise in any way be designed differently. It can be a Straight connector or a corner connector or the like act for spacer frames of insulating glass panes. Furthermore, the connector can be a straight connector or Cross connector for rung profiles. these are preferred applications. In addition, the Connectors for any other purposes and other hollow profiles are used. The connectors can also be any cross-sectional shape and at least in places hollow or be formed massive components.
  • connectors that are formed as a punched and bent part made of metal.
  • staggered retaining elements are particularly good and train effectively.
  • the connectors can also of other materials, e.g. plastic, Composite material or the like exist.
  • the hollow profiles (24) have an arbitrary suitable cross section and are in the preferred embodiment as hollow profiles of Spacer frame or designed as rungs profiles, both are used in insulating glass panes.
  • the hollow sections (24) may be a granulated Desiccant (27) are located, as shown in Figure 4 is indicated. Otherwise, the hollow sections (24) can also any other design and another Have purpose.
  • Figures 1, 2 and 7 each show a or two hollow profile (s) (24) in side view.
  • FIG. 4 shows the hollow profile (24) in cross section.
  • the connector (1) is shown in Figures 1 and 5 to 14 as Straight connector for hollow sections (24) of Spacer frame or designed for rungs profiles.
  • Figure 2 shows a modification as a corner angle for the same spacer hollow profiles.
  • the connector (1) also be designed as a cross connector for transom profiles.
  • the connector (1) has in the shown Embodiments a body (2) with a to the Hollow profile cross section adapted usually in substantial rectangular cross-section.
  • the connector (1) can with at least partially hollow component a U-shaped or box-shaped cross-section be educated. He has particularly wide opening End faces (11) and allows a flow of the Desiccant (27).
  • the connector (1) can alternatively also largely or completely massive be educated.
  • the end faces (11) can be open or to be introverted.
  • the Connector (1) has a middle wall (5) and two at the Edges angled sidewalls (6).
  • the connector (1) in cross section U-shaped.
  • a box-shaped cross section he has a second middle wall.
  • straight connector (1) for spacer hollow profiles is the connector (1) so in the hollow sections (24) mounted so that the middle wall (5) faces the inside of the Spacer frame points, while the free edges (7) the side walls (6) are directed to the outside (8).
  • This arrangement corresponds to that of the connector in EP-A-0 283 689.
  • the positioning can also be the other way around.
  • the connector (1) is in each case in the plugging direction (9) inserted into the hollow sections (24).
  • the sliding path becomes here by center stops (20) at the center (10) of the Connector (1) limited.
  • FIGS. 11 to 12 show two different embodiments.
  • the in the left half of Figure 11 and 13 and in the folded side view of Figure 12 is shown extends the center stop in extension of the side wall (6) above its free edge (7).
  • the corner angle of Figure 2 are the Center stops (20) at the corner and the side there projecting rigid wall part. Otherwise, the Center stops (20) also in any other suitable Be wise and possibly also omitted.
