It should be noted the great importance of the choice made to place the antenna 1 close to the upper surface 17 of the strand 16. Indeed, the human body is generally responsible for a decrease in the sensitivity of an antenna which is placed in its proximity, by a shielding effect, this is why the distance d must have the highest possible value. So, the antenna of the electronic device according to the invention has a high sensitivity for receiving radio broadcast signals.
  • the integration of antenna 1 in the bracelet of the electronic device 15 can be performed in various ways.
  • the portable electronic device is not limited by the structure of the bracelet, which can either have one or two strands and which can be expandable or not.
  • the extension 7 of the substrate 4 carrying the rectangular connectors 6 and 8 extend to the inside of the housing 18 of the portable electronic device 15, in contact with a printed circuit 19.
  • the latter has two openings 20 (only one being visible in FIG. 2) passing through it completely and filled with an electrically conductive material.
  • the connectors rectangular 6 and 8 are respectively connected to said printed circuit 19, respectively at each of said openings 20 so as to define a electrical contact with each of the ends 5 and 9 of the coil 2 on the face upper 21 of the printed circuit 19.
  • the connection between the connectors 6, 8 and the circuit printed 19 is carried out in a conventional manner, that is to say by welding, screwing, bonding using an electrically conductive glue, or by any other means equivalent.
  • An integrated circuit 22 is also carried by the printed circuit 19 and is connected to said two electrical contacts 20 by metallization tracks 23 (one only being visible in Figure 2).
  • This integrated circuit 22 processes the radio signals received by antenna 1 so that they can then be returned accessible to a user of the portable electronic device 15 according to the invention, in a directly usable form.
  • This aspect of the operation of the device portable electronics 15 will not be discussed in more detail here as it does has only a secondary character in the present invention.
  • the description of this patent application sets out several modes for making the passage of electrical connectors through a watch case tightly.
  • the solution described in this patent application consists in providing an opening on the side of the watch case, in which has a channel 24 of substantially tubular shape. Sealing means 25 are provided between the watch case 18 and the outside of the tubular channel 24.
  • the electrical connectors are guided inside the watch case by the channel and means are further provided for sealing the interior of the channel 24 relative to the outside of the watch case.
  • These sealing means are by example produced in the form of a joint 26 overmolded around the connectors electric and having the same shape as the inside of the channel, thus ensuring a plug function.
  • Means such as connectors can optionally be provided themselves do not penetrate inside the device housing electronic.
  • This latter embodiment advantageously makes it possible to facilitate the construction of the housing 18 of the device from the point of view of sealing, in so far where it is not necessary that openings are made in said housing.

  • the substrate 28 is of the same type as that 4 described previously in relation to the Figure 1, with the difference that its thickness must be significantly greater than that of said substrate 4 of FIG. 1.
  • the coils 2, 27 being made opposite respectively on each of the faces 29, 30 of the substrate 28, they can by therefore present a parasitic capacitive coupling detrimental to the quality of reception of antenna 1.
  • the amplitude of this coupling capacitive depends on the width of the respective turns of the two coils 2, 27 as well as of the working frequency.
  • Those skilled in the art will have no difficulty particular to adjust the thickness of the substrate 28 in order to find a compromise between the size of the antenna 1 and the influence of the capacitive coupling on its sensitivity in reception.
  • a second coil 27 in the general shape of a spiral, printed on the rear face 30 of the substrate 28, the first end of which 28 external to the spiral is connected to said rear metallization track 14.
  • the second end 32 of the coil 27, located inside the spiral is connected to the opening 10 connecting the second end 9 of the first coil 2 to the rear face 30 of the substrate 28, so that the two coils 2 and 27 are connected in series.
  • the two coils 2, 27 are wound in opposite directions, one with respect to to the other.
  • the coil 2 located on the upper face 29 of the substrate 28 is wound in the direction negative trigonometric, when traversed from its first outer end 5 towards its inner end 9, while the second coil 27 located on the face back 30 of substrate 28 is wound in a positive trigonometric direction, when travels from its first outer end 31 to its inner end 32.
  • the respective induced currents resulting from the application of the same magnetic field on the respective coils 2, 27 have the same direction of circulation and are therefore accumulated before being received by the integrated circuit 22 for processing radio signals.
  • the method of manufacturing the antenna 1 shown in FIG. 3 is similar to that used for the manufacture of the antenna shown in FIG. 1.
  • this antenna meets the same requirements as that described above in relation to FIG. 2.
  • each of the two coils can be housed in a different strand. In that case, it is of course necessary to provide additional contacts on the printed circuit as well as additional metallization tracks.
