Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for applying color to a web a stencil and a squeegee to press the paint through the stencil the web, the roller doctor blade - preferably over its entire length - in one Tunnel of a guide body is rotatably guided, the roller doctor on one of the Stencil-facing longitudinal slot over the tunnel with part of its circumferential surface protrudes.
- the object of the invention is to provide a device of the type mentioned at the outset to create improved storage for the roller doctor blade, so that this also in use highly viscous colors remains easily rotatable, color jams are avoided and yet one precise mechanical guidance of the roller doctor blade is possible.
- the tunnel wall is designed in such a way that that they only at several guide points spaced in the longitudinal direction of the tunnel at the Outside of the roller doctor rests while it is spaced between these guide points runs from the squeegee.
- the roll encloses more than half its diameter tunnel-like guidance provided, which provides permanent protection against the role Bending and easy to damage surface conveys.
- the The tunnel wall is designed in a design that corresponds to the application function, especially the rheological behavior of the color pastes in all color families and their applied viscosities evenly and according to in / on the template application taking place a template field free of drops after the application guaranteed.
- the roller guide in the tunnel is a rib sequence adapted to the roller diameter, whereby the ribs have the distance of one roller diameter over the length of the tunnel can.
- the role is in the ribbed tunnel with minimal play, so smooth stored.
- the tunnel body is preferably made of a lubricious plastic, while the Application roll consists of a magnetically active material that with a Surface hardening material, such as hard chrome, can be provided.
- the guide body with the tunnel and the doctor blade are in normal use inseparable. Nevertheless, the unit consisting of the guide body and the doctor blade can favorably their exchange can be made removable. Despite the intimate attitude of the squeegee in the Tunnel is an easy cleaning of the tunnel and the doctor blade without removing them possible.
- the depressions in the inner wall of the tunnel allow one excellent overall washing of this tunnel squeegee unit.
- the ones there Color cushions can, for example, by a water jet from a nozzle (water pressure over 10 b) are flushed out.
- the guide part with the tunnel can be opposite Paint tube to which it is advantageously attached via an automatically working Height adjustment be mounted so that it can move itself, so that self-alignment Squeegee results.
- roller squeegee is therefore functional compared to ink production independently. This represents an advantage over known guide devices that still require precise adjustment, because otherwise problems with hiding behind with the Doctor roll arise.
- the tunnel is vertical flexibly attached. It is possible to change the roll diameter, this in can be done in a short time. Typical smallest roll diameters are in the Size of 6 mm, the larger roll diameters at 25 mm, of course other roll diameters are also possible.
- the squeegee itself can have a smooth cylindrical outer surface, but also a corded one Have outer surface.
- the tunnel can be designed as a replaceable wear element his.
- FIG. 1 shows a paint tube of a device according to the invention together with a side view of a roller doctor guided in a tunnel
- 2a, 2b and 2c show sections along the line AA of FIG. 1 at a different distance from the paint tube-web
- 3 shows a cross section through the guide body and the doctor blade in the area of the guide points of the tunnel which are located on the outside of the doctor blade
- 4 shows a parallel section thereto, but between two guide points where the tunnel wall is at a distance from the doctor blade
- 5 shows a perspective view of the end section of a guide body with a roller doctor blade accommodated therein
- 6 shows the insertion of the roller doctor blade into the guide body of another exemplary embodiment
- 7 shows a bottom view of this embodiment.
- Fig. 1 shows a conventional paint tube for feeding the paint into the interior of a Rotation template, which is not shown here for the sake of clarity.
- the ink emerges on the inside of the rotary stencil and is there by the squeegee 2 pressed by the template, the doctor blade 2 in the tunnel of a guide body 3 in is essentially rotatable over its entire length.
- the guide body 3 together Roller doctor blade 2 essentially forms a unit in the direction of the double arrow is mounted vertically on the paint tube 1.
- the sections A-A of FIG. 1 according to FIGS. 2a, 2b and 2c show the paint tube 1 and the in Tunnel 5 of the guide body 3 rotatably mounted squeegee 2.
- This squeegee 2 is located on the Inside of a round template arranged between the web 7 and the doctor blade 2 and presses the color through the round stencil onto the web 7.
- the Roller doctor blade 2 in a known manner from an underlying magnet 8 at Printing attracted.
- the guide body 3 together with the doctor blade 2 is vertically movable on Paint tube 1 stored so that no exact adjustment of the same is necessary to a precise Ensure the roller squeegee 2 on the inside of the circular template.
- This height adjustment is realized in that the guide body 3 for the doctor blade 2 is attached to a slide 6, which is displaceable in a receptacle 9 that is fixed to the paint tube is stored.
- the tunnel 5 faces inside the preferably made of plastic Guide body does not have a constant cross-section over the entire length, while the metallic squeegee 2 does this. It is cylindrical (also corded in special cases) educated. This results in the situation shown in FIGS. 3 and 4 that the Guide body only at certain guide points or ribs 10 on the doctor blade 2 is present, while he is just next to it between two such control points 10 Distance d from the doctor blade 2. So here the tunnel between the doctor blade 5 and the tunnel wall 5a of the guide body 3 has an exemption which prevents the penetration of the Color pads allowed. By this measure, the friction between the doctor blade and Guide body lowered so that the squeegee rotates well.
- the Guide body over the entire length of the squeegee excellent guidance the same because the support points or guide points 10 at a short distance from each other can be arranged, for example between 6 mm and 25 mm.
- the distance of the Tunnel wall of the doctor blade 2 between these support or guide points 10 preferably between 0.5 mm and 3 mm.
- the guide body 3 having the tunnel 5 is preferably made in one piece from plastic designed and encloses the roller doctor blade in a total angular range of over 180 °, as shown for example in FIG. 4. So that the doctor blade 2 can not go down but fall out according to the invention from the guide body 3 in the direction Project the stencil to perform its squeegee function and color through the stencil to be able to press.
- the storage of the doctor blade 2 in the tunnel 5 of the guide body 3 is also from the 5 to see perspective view. It can be seen that the management points 10 as rib-like projections of the tunnel wall are formed, each of which is linear on the Fit the outer wall of the squeegee 2. Between these management positions, the Tunnel wall concave indentations 11, so that there is a distance from the tunnel wall is given from the outside of the doctor blade 2.
- the guide body 3 is in its Round outer shape.
- the tunnel design and the doctor blade 2 correspond to that previous figures.
