  • the light-emitting element bars 80 are fixed to the support frame 50F. Moreover, gaps of about 40 mm are formed between the light-emitting element bars 80, each covered by the cylindrical translucent pipe 81. Therefore, when the display apparatus is set outdoors, even if it is used in a strong wind, the wind can smoothly pass through the gap. Accordingly, the display apparatus is not easily affected by wind: the display screen does not sway due to the wind pressure, and the light-emitting element panels 50 are not destroyed by the wind.
  • the light-emitting element panels 50 are arranged in a predetermined pattern in vertical and horizontal directions and flexibly connected to one another by the flexion means 50H.
  • the light-emitting element panels 50 are flexibly connected to one another, the setting conditions of the overall display screen (the set position, the set attitude, etc.) can be freely changed to a certain extent.
  • the light-emitting element panels 50 are regular-sized and unitized, they can be easily manufactured in a simple process. Moreover, the transfer and assembly works can be very easy.

  • the long wiring board 83 of the display module 82 is a print wiring board having a width W substantially equal to the inner diameter d of the cylindrical translucent pipe 81.
  • the display module can be assembled easily without using a special positioning member.
  • the pixels P1, P2, P3... in the display modules 82 are arranged in a matrix in at least each light-emitting element panel 50 and two-dimensionally selected and light-emission controlled through the wiring PR, with the result that a color image can be displayed.
  • full-color illuminations by means of an abstraction image, a TV image and the like can be flexibly displayed on the overall region or a limited region of the display screen of a single light-emitting panel 50 or a plurality of light-emitting panels 50 connected to one another.
  • the background behind the display screen can be seen and the display screen can be illuminated from behind, so that more notable stage effects can be obtained if the apparatus is used as stage setting.
  • the display apparatus can also be utilized as a large-screen display apparatus for an outdoor event.

Claims (7)

  1. Un appareil d'affichage comprenant un membre de support et une pluralité de d'éléments émetteurs de lumière fixés au membre de support, l'appareil étant disposé pour réaliser un affichage prédéterminé par émission de lumière en contrôlant les éléments émetteurs de lumière,
    un panneau (50) d'éléments émetteurs de lumière ayant un cadre support (50F) et une pluralité de colonnes émettrices de lumière disposées en parallèle à des intervalles réguliers (G) et connectées au cadre support (50F), caractérisé en ce que les colonnes émettrices de lumière sont des barres émettrices de lumières (80), chaque barre (80) d'éléments émetteurs de lumière comprend un tuyau cylindrique translucide (81) et un module d'affichage (82) inséré dans le tuyau (81); et en ce que l'appareil comprend en outre, des moyens (10 à 40, 51 à 53) de contrôle d'émission de lumière incluant des ordinateurs (11 to 13), disposés pour contrôler l'émission de lumière de la pluralité de barres (80) d'éléments émetteurs de lumière dans le panneau (50) d'éléments émetteurs de lumière, une section de contrôle (50A) des moyens (10 à 40, 50A, 51 à 53) de contrôle d'émission de lumière étant logée à l'intérieur du cadre support (50F) de chaque panneau (50) d'éléments émetteurs de lumière.
  2. Un appareil d'affichage selon la revendication 1, incluant une pluralité de panneaux (50) d'éléments émetteurs de lumière.
  3. Un appareil d'affichage selon la revendication 2, dans lequel les panneaux (50) d'éléments émetteurs de lumière (50) sont disposés selon un modèle prédéterminé dans des directions verticales et horizontales et sont connectés de manière flexible les uns aux autres par des moyens flexibles (50H).
  4. Un appareil d'affichage selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 3, caractérisé en ce que le module d'affichage (82) a une longue plaquette (83) et une pluralité de pixels (P1, P2, P3...) disposés sur une ligne le long d'une direction longitudinale d'une plaquette à câbler (83), chaque pixel ayant des diodes électroluminescentes de trois couleurs primaires, rouge (R), bleu (B) et vert (G), et le câblage (PR), pour le contrôle de l'émission de lumière, étant connecté au pixels (P1, P2, P3...).
  5. Un appareil d'affichage selon la revendication 4, caractérisé en ce que la longue plaquette à câbler (83) du module d'affichage (82) est une plaquette de circuit imprimé ayant une largeur (W) essentiellement identique à un autre diamètre (d) du tuyau cylindrique translucide (81).
  6. Un appareil d'affichage selon la revendication 4, caractérisé en ce que les pixels (P1, P2, P3...) dans les modules d'affichage (82) sont disposés dans une matrice dans le panneau (50) d'éléments émetteurs de lumière et ils sont disposés de manière bidimensionnelle et l'émission de lumière est contrôlée par le câblage (PR), en affichant ainsi une image en couleur.
  7. Un appareil d'affichage selon la revendication 4, caractérisé en ce que le tuyau translucide (81) est réalisé en polycarbonate translucide.
