Claims (6)
- Verfahren zum Betrieb einer Warmkammer-Druckgießmaschine, bei dem flüssiges Metall schußweise von einem hin.- und herbewegbaren Gießkolben 8 aus einem in ein Metallbad (5) tauchenden Gießbehälter (6) durch dessen Steigkanal (9) zu einem Mundstückskörper (10) und einer Düsenspitze (14) bis in eine Form (20) gefördert und dort unter Druck gesetzt wird, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass nach jedem Schuß bei offener Form der Gießkolben (8) aus einer zurückgezogenen Stellung, in der er einen Zulauf (12) aus dem Metallbad (5) in die Gießkammer (7) des Gießbehälters (6) freigibt, in eine vorgeschobene Stellung bewegt wird, in welcher der Steigkanal (9) und der Mundstückskörper (10) mit flüssigem Metall gefüllt sind, dass dann die Form (20) geschlossen und erst danach Metall in die Form gedrückt wird.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Ankunft des flüssigen Metalls (5) an der Mundstücksspitze erfasst, der Formschließvorgang eingeleitet und der Gießkolben (8) festgehalten wird, bis die Form geschlossen ist.
- Warmkammer-Druckgießmaschine zur Durchführung des Verfahrens nach Anspruch 1, mit einem vom Steigkanal (9) zur Düsenspitze (14) hin ansteigenden Kanal (24) im Mundstückskörper (10) und mit einem im Bereich der Düsenspitze (14) angeordneten Metallsensor, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Metallsensor (16) an der Unterseite des Kanals (24) des Mundstückkörpers (10) angebracht ist.
- Warmkammer-Druckgießmaschine nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass eine Steuereinrichtung (18) zum Erfassen und Auswerten des vom Metallsensors (16) abgegebenen Signals vorgesehen ist, welches als Startsignal für das Einsetzen des Einpressvorgangs in die Form ausnützbar ist.
- Warmkammer-Druckgießmaschine nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass über die Steuereinrichtung (18) und eine Prozessleiteinrichtung eine Gießsystem-Vorfüllkurve vorgegeben wird, die maschinenspezifisch die Vorfüllzeit und die Gießkolbengeschwindigkeit einschließlich des Abbremsvorganges des Gießkolbens bestimmt.
- Warmkammer-Druckgießmaschine nach einem der Ansprüche 3 bis 5, gekennzeichnet durch die Verwendung eines Mehrkammerofens, der in einer Entnahmekammer gleiches Badniveau gewährleistet.
