Description

Die Erfindung betrifft ein wiederverschließbares, aus Folienmaterial hergestelltes Ausgießelement, insbesondere für Flüssigkeiten aufnehmende Packungen aus Karton, mit einem eine Gießöffnung aufweisenden Grundkörper, einer Gießlippe und einem Deckel, der einen tiefgezogenen oder geprägten der Gießöffnung zugeordneten Verschlusstubus aufweist und über einen mindestens ein Filmscharnier aufweisenden Abschnitt mit dem Grundkörper verbunden ist, wobei das Filmscharnier beabstandet zu einer hinteren Kante des Grundkörpers angeordnet ist, wobei der Deckel und die Gießlippe jeweils schmaler als der Grundkörper ausgebildet sind und wobei der Versschlusstubus in einer Verschlussstellung in die Gießöffnung einrastet und diese weitestgehend flüssigkeitsdicht verschließt. Ferner ist Gegenstand der Erfindung eine Packung aus mit thermoplastischem Material beschichtetem Karton, insbesondere für Flüssigkeiten, die ein derartiges Ausgießelement aufweisen.
Ein solches Ausgießelement ist in der Fig. 1 der WO-A-97/00206 gezeigt. Dieses bekannte Ausgießelement ist aus mehreren Elementen zusammengesetzt. Es besteht aus einem ersten Element, das an einer Packung für Flüssigkeiten außenseitig angeklebt ist und eine Gießlippe aufweist, und einem zweiten Element, das einen dünnen, tiefgezogenen Verschlusstubus trägt und auf das erste Element auflaminiert ist. Das an der Außenseite der Packung applizierte erste Element weist an seiner Oberseite Seitenbereiche auf, welche die Flüssigkeit beim Ausgießen in Richtung der Gießlippe leiten sollen.
Die US-A-4,852,764 offenbart ein Ausgießelement vorzugsweise für eine Verpackung von Granulaten. Dieses Ausgießelement weist einen Deckel und einen Grundkörper auf, wobei der Deckel über ein Scharnier, das direkt am Rand einer Öffnung im Grundkörper angebracht ist, mit dem Grundkörper verbunden ist. Ferner ist am Grundkörper eine Lasche vorgesehen, die derart unter den Grundkörper gefaltet werden kann, dass die Vorderkante der Lasche den Deckel in der Öffnung arretieren kann. Um zu erreichen, dass im gefalteten Zustand die Unterseite der Lasche parallel zu Unterseite des restlichen Grundkörpers verläuft, sind zwei Kanten vorgesehen, durch die der Teil des Grundkörpers über der gefalteten Lasche nach oben versetzt wird. Die Kanten grenzen dabei direkt an die Gießöffnung an. Ein derartiges Ausgießelement hat dabei den Nachteil, dass Deckel und Öffnung im Grundkörper die gleiche Größe aufweisen, wodurch ein flüssigkeitsdichtes Verschließen nahezu unmöglich wird. Will man dies dennoch erreichen, muss das Ausgießelement auf der Außenseite der Verpackung angebracht werden, damit der Deckel eine in diesem Fall in der Verpackung selbst vorgesehene Gießöffnung flüssigkeitsdicht verschließen kann. Damit ergibt sich das Problem, dass die Schnittkanten in der Öffnung der Packung gegen das Eindringen von Flüssigkeit versiegelt werden müssen
Durch die US-A-4,732,315 ist ein Ausgießelement bekannt, das einen Deckel und ein Grundelement umfasst. Der Deckel ist dabei über ein Scharnier an der hinteren Kante des Grundelements mit diesem verbunden. Ferner ragt der Deckel über das Grundelement hinaus. Damit kann ein derartiges Ausgießelement nicht an der Innenseite der Packung angebracht werden und es stellt sich das Problem der Versiegelung der Schnittkanten.
Der vorliegenden Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, ein wiederverschließbares Ausgießelement insbesondere für aus kunststoffbeschichtetem Karton bestehende und falls erforderlich eine Gasbarriere aus Aluminium aufweisende Flüssigkeitspackungen bereitzustellen, das gute Gießeigenschaften sowie im geschlossenen Zustand eine geringe Höhe aufweist. Gleichzeitig soll das Ausgießelement kostengünstig herstellbar sein und zudem auf kostengünstige Weise einen sicheren Schutz vor Eindringen von Flüssigkeit in die Kartonschnittkante der von ihm abgedeckten Packungsöffnung ermöglichen.
Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß durch ein Ausgießelement der eingangs genannten Art gelöst, dessen Gießlippe durch einen mindestens zwei Filmscharniere aufweisenden Abschnitt mit dem Grundkörper verbunden ist, wobei die Filmscharniere jeweils beabstandet zur Gießöffnung angeordnet sind.
Das erfindungsgemäße Ausgießelement lässt sich kostengünstig aus dünnem Folienstreifenmaterial, vorzugsweise aus einer eine Gasbarriere aufweisenden Mehrschichtfolie für den Einsatz bei aseptisch abgefüllten, langhaltbaren Produkten herstellen, und zwar in Form eines flachen, einstückig ausgebildeten Ausgießelementes. Aufgrund des dünnen Folienmaterials trägt das erfindungsgemäße Ausgießelement nur unwesentlich auf. Es kann nicht nur an der Außenseite der Packung, sondern insbesondere auch an der Innenseite der Packung appliziert werden. Durch eine Applikation an der Innenseite der Packung wird die Schnittkante der von ihm abgedeckten Packungsöffnung auf einfache und kostengünstige Weise sicher vor Eindringen von Flüssigkeit geschützt.
Eine bevorzugte Ausgestaltung des erfindungsgemäßen Ausgießelementes besteht darin, dass dessen Gießöffnung durch eine mit dem Verschlusstubus des Deckels verbundene Folie flüssigkeitsdicht verschlossen ist, die beim erstmaligen Öffnen des Deckels aufreißt. Hierdurch wird eine absolute Dichtigkeit des Ausgießelements vor dem erstmaligen Öffnen des Deckels erreicht.
Eine andere bevorzugte Ausgestaltung des erfindungsgemäßen Ausgießelementes besteht darin, dass die Gießöffnung einen vorstehenden Randabschnitt aufweist, der benachbart zur Gießlippe angeordnet ist. Mittels des vorstehenden Randabschnitts wird auf den Verschlusstubus des Deckels in dessen Verschlussstellung eine Klemmwirkung ausgeübt, die den Deckel gegen ein ungewolltes Aufklappen sichert. Die Form des Deckels ist dabei der Gießöffnung so angepasst, dass er in die Gießöffnung einrastet. Mit Vorteil kann der Deckel in seiner Verschlusstubusstellung auch an einer an der Gießlippe ausgebildeten Faltkante arretierbar sein.
Weitere bevorzugte und vorteilhafte Ausgestaltungen des erfindungsgemäßen Ausgießelementes sowie einer damit ausgestatteten Packung sind in den Unteransprüchen angegeben.
Nachfolgend wird die Erfindung anhand einer ein Ausführungsbeispiel darstellenden Zeichnung näher erläutert. Im einzelnen zeigen:

Das in der Zeichnung dargestellte wiederverschließbare Ausgießelement 1 wird einstückig aus einem dünnen, elastisch biegsamen Folienstreifenmaterial 2 hergestellt, das vorzugsweise aus mit Polyethylen siegelfähigem Kunststoff besteht und eine Dicke von vorzugsweise weniger als 1 mm, beispielsweise 0,5 mm aufweist. Das Folienstreifenmaterial 2 kann für die Verpackung von aseptisch abgefüllten, sauerstoffempfindlichen Produkten vorzugsweise aus einer Mehrschichtfolie mit Gas- und/oder Aromabarriereschichten bestehen. Aus dem Folienstreifenmaterial 2 wird zunächst die äußere Form des Ausgießelementes 1 und dessen längliche Gießöffnung 3 ausgeschnitten bzw. ausgestanzt.
Das Ausgießelement 1 weist ein Grundkörper 4, eine Gießlippe 5 und einen Deckel 6 auf. Der die Gießöffnung 3 enthaltende Grundkörper 4 hat eine im wesentlichen rechteckige Form, wobei die Ecken abgerundet sind. Der Deckel 6 sowie die Gießlippe 5 sind jeweils streifenförmig ausgebildet und schmaler als der Grundkörper 4. Der Deckel 6 hat ein abgerundetes Ende, das als Handhabungsfläche 7 dient. Das Ende der Gießlippe 5 ist dagegen durch zwei im wesentlichen rechtwinklige Ecken definiert. Der Deckel 6 weist ferner einen durch Tiefziehen, Prägen oder Stanzen gebildeten, der Gießöffnung 3 zugeordneten Verschlusstubus 8 auf. Es ist zu erkennen, dass die Gießöffnung 3 einen vorstehenden Randabschnitt 9 aufweist, der benachbart zur Gießlippe 5 angeordnet ist. Der vorstehende Randabschnitt 9 übt auf den Verschlusstubus 8 des Deckels 6 bei verschlossenem Deckel 6 eine Klemmwirkung aus, so dass der Deckel 6 in seiner Verschlusstubusstellung gesichert ist. Der Verschlusstubus 8 ist so bemessen, dass er in der Verschlussstellung des Deckels 6 in die Gießöffnung 3 einrastet und diese weitestgehend flüssigkeitsdicht verschließt (vgl. Fig. 3).
Der Deckel 6 ist über einen Abschnitt, der zwei im wesentlichen parallel zueinander verlaufende Filmscharniere 10, 11 aufweist, mit dem Grundkörper 4 verbunden. Ebenso ist auch die Gießlippe 5 durch einen zwei im wesentlichen parallel zueinander verlaufende Filmscharniere 12, 13 aufweisenden Abschnitt mit dem Grundkörper 4 verbunden. Die Filmscharniere 10, 11, 12, 13 werden durch Rillen oder Schwächen des Folienmaterials erzeugt und sind jeweils beabstandet zur Gießöffnung 3 angeordnet.
Das Ausgießelement 1 lässt sich somit in eine Form falten, in der der zwischen den Filmscharnieren 12, 13 gelegene unterseitige Abschnitt 14 der Gießlippe 5 und der zwischen den Filmscharnieren 10, 11 gelegene oberseitige Abschnitt 15 des Deckels 6 gemeinsam mit den Längsränder 16, 17 des Grundkörpers 4 als Siegelrand zur Applikation des Ausgießelementes 1 an der Innenseite einer Packung 18 verwendet werden können.
In Fig. 4 ist ein oberseitiger Abschnitt eines Zuschnittes 19 einer Packung aus mit thermoplastischem Material beschichtetem Karton gezeigt. Mit 20 sind in den Zuschnitt durch Rillen erzeugte Filmscharniere bezeichnet. In den Zuschnitt 19 ist eine längliche, rechteckige Öffnung 21 gestanzt, die nur geringfügig breiter als die Gießlippe 5 bzw. der Deckel 6 des mit der Innenseite der Packungszuschnitts 19 durch Schweißen oder Kleben flüssigkeitsdicht verbundenen Ausgießelements 1 ist. Die Länge der Öffnung 21 ist geringfügig größer als der Abstand der Filmscharniere 11, 12 des applizierten Ausgießelements 1, so dass die Gießlippe 5 zickzackförmig gefaltet an der Oberseite des Packungszuschnitts 19 durch Schweißen oder Kleben fixiert und der Deckel 6 aus seiner Verschlussstellung ungehindert um mehr als 90°, insbesondere um bis zu etwa 180° aufgeschwenkt werden kann.
Um eine absolute Dichtigkeit und Öffnungssicherheit zu gewährleisten, ist die Gießöffnung 3 des Ausgießelementes 1 durch eine mit dem Verschlusstubus 8 des Deckels 6 und dem Grundkörper 4 verbundene Folie in Form einer sogenannten "Peel-Beschichtung" (nicht gezeigt) flüssigkeitsdicht verschlossen, die beim erstmaligen Öffnen des Deckels 6 aufreißt. Die Peel-Beschichtung ist so beschaffen, dass sie beim erstmaligem Öffnen des Deckels 6 nur entlang des Randes der Gießöffnung aufreißt und im Bereich des Grundkörpers 4 und des Verschlusstubus 8 keine Beschädigung auftritt. Somit ist ein einwandfreier Wiederverschluss möglich. Durch die flüssigkeitsdichte Applikation des Ausgießelements 1 an der Innenseite der Packung 18 ergibt sich ein Schutz der Schnittkante der Öffnung 21 vor Eindringen von Flüssigkeit in die Kartonschicht. Eine zusätzliche, mit Kosten verbundene Versiegelung der Schnittkante ist nicht erforderlich.
In Fig. 5 ist eine fertig hergestellte Packung 18 mit einem innenseitig applizierten Ausgießelement 1 dargestellt, dessen Gießöffnung durch den Deckel 6 verschlossen ist. Die Gießlippe 5 steht über die Seitenkante der Packung 18 vor. Ferner steht die Gießlippe 5 bei verschlossenem Deckel 6 auch unter der Handhabungsfläche 7 vor. Die Handhabungsfläche 7 ist gegenüber dem den Verschlusstubus 8 aufweisenden Deckelabschnitt durch einen Abschnitt definiert, der zwei im wesentlichen parallel zueinander verlaufende Filmscharniere 22, 23 aufweist (vgl. Fig. 2). Das Ende der Handhabungsfläche 7 steht in der Verschlussstellung des Deckels 6 über die Seitenkante der Packung 18 etwas vor, so dass die Handhabungsfläche 7 nach Herunterbiegen der Gießlippe 5 gut ergriffen werden kann. Die Abstände zwischen den Filmscharniere 10 bis 13, 22, 23 sind so bemessen, dass der Deckel 6 in seiner Verschlussstellung die Faltkante 12 der Gießlippe 5 geringfügig untergreift und somit an der Gießlippe 5 arretierbar ist.

Claims (13)

  1. Wiederverschließbares, aus Folienmaterial hergestelltes Ausgießelement, insbesondere für Flüssigkeiten aufnehmende Packungen aus Karton, mit einem eine Gießöffnung (3) aufweisenden Grundkörper (4), einer Gießlippe (5) und einem Deckel (6), der einen tiefgezogenen oder geprägten der Gießöffnung (3) zugeordneten Verschlusstubus aufweist und über einen mindestens ein Filmscharnier (11) aufweisenden Abschnitt mit dem Grundkörper (4) verbunden ist, wobei das Filmscharnier (11) beabstandet zu einer hinteren Kante des Grundkörpers (4) angeordnet ist, wobei der Deckel (6) und die Gießlippe (5) jeweils schmaler als der Grundkörper (4) ausgebildet sind und wobei der Versschlusstubus in einer Verschlussstellung in die Gießöffnung (3) einrastet und diese weitestgehend flüssigkeitsdicht verschließt,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Gießlippe (5) durch einen mindestens zwei Filmscharniere (12, 13) aufweisenden Abschnitt mit dem Grundkörper (4) verbunden ist, wobei die Filmscharniere (11, 12, 13) jeweils beabstandet zur Gießöffnung (3) angeordnet sind.
  2. Ausgießelement nach Anspruch 1,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Grundkörper, die Gießlippe (5) und der Deckel (6) einstückig ausgebildet sind, wobei der den Deckel (6) mit dem Grundkörper (4) verbindende Abschnitt mindestens zwei Filmscharniere (10, 11) aufweist.
  3. Ausgießelement nach Anspruch 1 oder 2,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Filmscharniere (10, 11, 12, 13, 22, 23) parallel zueinander verlaufen.
  4. Ausgießelement nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Gießöffnung (3) durch eine mit dem Verschlusstubus (8) des Deckels (6) verbundene Folie flüssigkeitsdicht verschlossen ist, die beim erstmaligen Öffnen des Deckels (6) aufreißt.
  5. Ausgießelement nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Deckel (6) eine Handhabungsfläche (7) aufweist, die durch einen mindestens eine Filmscharnier (22, 23) aufweisenden Abschnitt mit einem den Verschlusstubus (8) aufweisenden Deckelabschnitt verbunden ist.
  6. Ausgießelement nach Anspruch 5,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Gießlippe (5) bei verschlossenem Deckel (6) unter der Handhabungsfläche (7) vorsteht.
  7. Ausgießelement nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Gießöffnung (3) einen vorstehenden Randabschnitt (9) aufweist, der benachbart zur Gießlippe (5) angeordnet ist.
  8. Ausgießelement nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Deckel (6) in geschlossener Stellung an einer an der Gießlippe (5) ausgebildeten Faltkante (12) arretierbar ist.
  9. Ausgießelement nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Folienmaterial (2) zur Herstellung des Ausgießelementes (1) aus mit Polyethylen siegelfähigem Kunststoff besteht.
  10. Packung (18) aus insbesondere Flachgiebelverbundpackungen, insbesondere für Flüssigkeiten, mit einer Öffnung (21) und einem um den Umfang der Öffnung (12) herum applizierten Ausgießelement (1) nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Ausgießelement (1) an der Innenseite der Packung (18) appliziert ist.
  11. Packung nach Anspruch 10,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Ausgießelement (1) durch Kleben oder Schweißen appliziert ist.
  12. Packung nach Anspruch 10 oder 11,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Gießlippe (5) an der Packung (18) fixiert ist.
  13. Packung nach einem der Ansprüche 10 bis 12,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Deckel (6) in geschlossener Stellung mit dem Ende einer Handhabungsfläche (7) über eine Seitenkante der Packung (18) vorsteht.
