Definitions
- the invention relates to a sealing profile according to the preamble of claim 1.
- the invention is particularly for door stop seals suitable, but can also be used for sealing and damping Windows, flaps, etc. are used.
- Known door stop seals have a profile foot Anchoring in a profile holder, for example one Joint or groove, a door frame and a profile head, which is designed such that a Door damping and sealing is achieved.
- the invention has for its object to provide a sealing profile which enables a particularly simple, inexpensive assembly, in particular mechanical rolling into a profile receptacle, while ensuring a secure and stable anchoring of the profile foot and an improved sealing effect of the profile head.
- a basic idea of the invention is the assembly and anchoring the sealing profile through a new training the connection area between the hollow chamber of the profile foot and the cavity of the profile head.
- the connection area extends into the Cavity of the profile head and forms a shape or a thickening, which is advantageously arcuate can be trained.
- the sealing head When inserting the strand-shaped sealing profile in a Groove or joint and especially when pressing in mechanically with the help of a pressure roller, the sealing head is up to pressed into the connection area. Because the connection area forms an abutment, the indentation with a greater pressure, which causes the profile foot deep into the Groove pressed in and a stable and secure anchorage is achieved.
- the hollow chamber of the profile foot extends at least slightly into the profile head and the connection area is formed approximately like a ring segment is.
- the connecting area is circular in cross section has an inner radius which is half the diameter the V-shaped hollow chamber of the profile foot in cross section Area of the crossbar corresponds.
- the sealing profile symmetrical in cross section.
- the profile foot and the connection area are approximately in the middle with the Cross bar connected.
- On both sides of the connection area and the sealing foot is the cross bar with contact surfaces provided which seal on the boundary areas of the Profile support lying on and usually beveled, for example with an angle of 5 ° to a horizontal, are trained.
- the sealing profile in the area of the profile head be asymmetrical.
- Beneficial for one optimal sealing and damping can, for example Sealing lip, which is an extension of a vertical Bridge protrudes over the stop bar and is curved or is directed obliquely outwards.
- a further improvement in the sealing and damping effect is achieved when the sealing lip has a free end Has thickening, which has an approximately circular contour can have.
- the stop web which is the transverse web, is expedient lies opposite and connects two almost vertical webs, is approximately roof-shaped. A well-rounded The top of the roof-shaped stop bar can formed in the center and opposite the connection area his.
- the crown can of the approximately roof-shaped stop web arranged off-center and a smaller, sloping bridge area as well a larger, inwardly arched web area is formed be, which advantageously in the projecting sealing lip transforms.
- the triangular base is next to the end lip, which one form arrow or anchor cross-section, on both sides provided with a foot lip.
- foot lips can expediently a lower strength than the lower ones, have end lips and a softer Material, for example a thermoplastic elastomer, consist.
- the end holding lips or the entire lower triangular foot stem with the retaining lips can expediently a harder plastic material, for example polyethylene, consist.
- the harder material at the end ensures a better insertion of the sealing foot and the softer Material of the additional foot lips causes an improved Adhesion and bracket and prevents unwanted Loosen the sealing profile from the profile holder.
- the entire sealing foot can from a harder and usually cheaper Material such as ethylene vinyl acetate and the the sealing function of a profile head made of a thermoplastic Made of elastomer, with the entire sealing profile preferably by a co-extrusion process is produced in a single operation.
- edges of the sealing profile are advantageously rounded, at least in the area of the profile head, thereby avoiding predetermined breaking points.
- the sealing profiles 2 shown in FIGS. 1 to 3 are door stop seals each with a profile foot 3 and a profile head 4.
- the sealing profile 2 of FIG. 1 is symmetrical in cross section educated.
- the profile foot 3 has a triangular foot stem with V-shaped spread legs 6, which from an arrow-shaped foot end with arranged on both sides Holding lips 7 up to a cross piece 9 of the profile head 4 pass.
- Fig. 1 shows that the Profile foot 3 in the connection area 19 slightly narrower than is formed in the region of the lower retaining lips 7.
- the connecting area 19 is between the hollow chamber 5 of the Profile foot 3 and a cavity 12 of the profile head 4 arranged and is sufficient as an arc-shaped, circular cross-sectional segment Forming or thickening in the cavity 12 in.
- the cavity 12 is next to the connection area 19 and the crossbar 9 of vertical webs 13 and a stop bar 10, which is roof-shaped, limited.
- the Crosspiece 9 has legs 6 or the connecting area on both sides 19 lower contact surfaces 14, which according to beveled outside and an angle of inclination Have ⁇ of about 5 °.
- the angle of attack ⁇ with the angle of attack of the retaining lips 7 almost matches and in this embodiment, for example Is 25 °.
- the profile foot 3 has a slightly smaller width than in the area of the wider retaining lips 7.
- the roof-shaped stop web 10 of the profile head 4 lies with a rounded apex 17 the connection area 19 opposite.
- the vertical webs 13 of the profile head 4th close over rounded, upper edges 16 to the roof-shaped stop web 10.
- Fig. 2 shows an alternative sealing profile 2.
- This Sealing profile 2 differs in the area of the profile foot 3 and the circular segment segment Connection area 19 and the legs 6, foot lips 18th and retaining lips 7 not from the sealing profile according to FIG. 1.
- the profile head 4 is asymmetrical and the apex 17 of the upper stop web 10 is outside of the longitudinal axis 20 educated. As a result, a smaller web area 21 which is beveled in the embodiment of FIG. 2, and a larger web area 23, which is curved inwards is and merges into a sealing lip 22, formed.
- the Sealing lip 22 provides a slightly arcuate Extension of the left-hand vertical web 13 and dominates the stop bar 10 and its apex 17.
- the sealing profile 2 shown in FIG. 3 is also in the Area of the crossbar 9 and the legs 13 of the profile head 4 asymmetrical.
- the vertex 17 between the Web area 21 and the web area 23 of the stop bar 10 lies on the longitudinal axis 20 and opposite the connection area 19th
- the crossbar 9 has on both sides of the connecting region 19 Contact surfaces 14, which according to the sealing profile 2 Fig. 3 inclined on the right side, horizontally aligned on the left side are.
- the vertical webs 13 are also inclined to a vertical formed, the angle of inclination ⁇ of the in Sealing lip 22 passing leg 13 about 50 to Is 60 °. At the free end of the sealing lip 22 is one Thickening 24 is formed.
