Claims (10)

  1. Support system for sanitary ware, with a support frame (2) and panelling fitted on at least the front face of the support frame (2), which comprises at least one panel element (3) to be fitted on the support frame (2), with means (13, 15) for fitting the support frame (2) on a building floor (4) and on building wall (6), and a vertically and horizontally extending floor rail (9) is disposed in the floor region of the support system, which is provided as a means of creating the floor junction for the finished structure, characterised in that the floor rail (9) is permanently connected to several base supports (7) and, in conjunction with them, constitutes a first, separately mountable unit of the support frame (2), and vertical profiled rails (14) with cross-members (27, 28) form a second bearing unit of the support frame (2), and the second unit can be placed on the base supports (7) of the first unit when fitting the support frame (2).
  2. Support system as claimed in claim 1, characterised in that the floor rail (9) forms a permanent shuttering and/or dummy joint for a floor junction.
  3. Support system as claimed in one of claims 1 to 2, characterised in that a horizontally extending wall rail (12) is provided as a means of securing the support frame (2) to the building wall (6).
  4. Support system as claimed in claim 3, characterised in that the wall rail (12) has means for securing it to the building wall (6).
  5. Support system as claimed in one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that an insulating strip (8) is provided on the floor rail (9) to insulate against noise.
  6. Support system as claimed in claim 5, characterised in that the insulating strip (8) is pre-assembled on the floor rail (9).
  7. Support system as claimed in one of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the floor rail (9) extends essentially across the entire width of the support frame (2).
  8. Support system as claimed in one of claims 1 to 7, characterised in that the floor rail (9) extends as far as the bottom end of the support frame (2).
  9. Support system as claimed in one of claims 1 to 7, characterised in that the floor rail (9) is of such a height that, once the finished floor (5) has been completed, it extends far enough beyond it for panel elements (10) and in particular boards to be secured to it.
  10. Support system as claimed in one of claims 1 to 9, characterised in that the floor rail (9) is set back from a front panelling plane (A).
