TECHNICAL AREA

The present invention relates to an assembly device for a sanitary body, in particular a water closet, a urinal, a bidet or a washstand, according to the preamble of claim 1.

STATE OF THE ART

Assembly devices of this type have long been known in particular for water closets and urinals. The mounting frame usually consists of two vertical struts and cross members connecting them. The mounting frame and the cistern are covered with a cover. This covering is usually made with plasterboard and tiles. The creation of such a cover is comparatively complex. In the event of a repair, it may be necessary to remove the tiles, which is correspondingly time-consuming.

To avoid the disadvantages mentioned, in the generic EP 2 166 163 proposed a wall mounting system for bathroom and plumbing installations. From the EP 2 166 163 However, there is the disadvantage that the sanitary body must always be mounted at a height predetermined by the mounting device. Especially for people with physical impairments, for example older people or disabled people, it can be advantageous if the mounting device can be mounted at a user-defined height. However, these people have the need that third parties, for example visitors, cannot recognize from the sanitary installation that there is a health impairment because these people prefer to handle this more discreetly.

DISCLOSURE OF THE INVENTION

Proceeding from this prior art, the present invention is based on an object of specifying an assembly device for sanitary installations which overcomes the disadvantages of the prior art. In particular, the mounting device should be able to be mounted at different heights, the mounting height not being directly recognizable by third parties.

This object is achieved by the subject matter of claim 1. Accordingly, a mounting device for a sanitary body comprises a mounting frame which has means for fastening the sanitary body, sanitary fittings mounted on the mounting frame and a cover which covers the mounting frame at least on the front and which is delimited by a boundary edge. Furthermore, the assembly device comprises a panel element with which a gap between the boundary edge and the building floor can be covered when the assembly device is fixedly mounted to a building floor, the panel element being designed to be adjustable with respect to the boundary edge and / or with respect to the assembly frame, so that the assembly device is designed to be adjustable when the gap is covered can be arranged by the panel element at different heights.

The expression sanitary fitting can be understood to mean different elements depending on the sanitary article. If the sanitary article is a water closet or a bidet, the sanitary fitting is typically a cistern with corresponding connection lines. In the case of the arrangement of a bidet or a washstand, the sanitary article typically comprises water pipes etc.

With regard to the panel element fixed to the building floor, it can be said that this is fixed to the floor, in which case the cover with the lower delimiting edge and the assembly device for the panel element can be adjusted. During assembly, the panel element is arranged first and then the cover is mounted over the panel element.

Alternatively, the screen element can also be movable along a direction of movement with respect to the fixed delimiting edge or with respect to the fixed cover, as a result of which the position of the screen element relative to the delimiting edge can be fixed.

The assembly device can be mounted standing on the floor, parts, in particular vertical struts, of the assembly frame then being adjustable in length so that the assembly device rests on these parts. Alternatively, wall mounting is also conceivable, in which the mounting device is attached to a wall via the mounting frame.

The screen element protrudes with a first section from the space between the mounting frame and the cover over at least one boundary edge of the said cover and it extends with a second section adjoining the first section into the said space.

In other words, it can also be said that the panel element is mounted in an intermediate space between the cover and the mounting frame.

Preferably, the screen element is positively and / or non-positively on the Mounting frame held.

In a further development of the invention, the panel element comprises at least one slot, a latching element connected to the mounting frame entering into a latching connection with the at least one slot, so that the panel element is fixedly mounted to the mounting frame.

The cover comprises at least one front cover that covers the front of the mounting frame and is fastened to the mounting frame, and at least one side cover that covers the mounting frame laterally and is fastened to the mounting frame, wherein both the front cover and the side cover define a boundary edge. The panel element thus covers the gap between the boundary edge of the front panel and that of the side panel. The boundary edge is preferably a lower boundary edge running horizontally to the building floor.

The panel element comprises a front panel section and at least one lateral panel section, the front panel section being arranged in the area of the front panel and the lateral panel section being arranged in the area of the side panel.

Particularly preferably, the side panel section ends with a holding section which runs inclined to the side panel section and which engages around parts of the mounting frame.

The mounting frame is preferably connected to a base, the base being arranged in the area of the panel element.

Particularly preferably, the cover elements each extend over the entire surface of the mounting frame on which the cover elements rest, in particular the front cladding and / or the side cladding extending over the entire height and width or depth of the mounting frame. The mounting frame is thus essentially covered over its entire surface by the cover element and is not from the outside visible.

The cover element further comprises an upper cover element that covers the top of the assembly frame, the upper cover element preferably forming a removable cover for the cistern.

Tapes or strips of adhesive or strips of sealing material are preferably attached to the rear of the side cladding and / or the front cladding, which are pressed against the mounting frame and serve as sealing and compensating elements. In addition, an intermediate space for receiving the panel element can be created in a simple way via these bands or strips. The space can also be created in other ways.

DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

In the Figures 1 and 2 the mounting device 1 is shown mounted at different heights.

The mounting device 1 has, as in Figure 3 shown, a mounting frame 2 which can be attached to a building wall 3 in a manner known per se. However, it can also be mounted free-standing in front of a building wall or free-standing in a room on a building floor 6.

In the embodiment shown here, the mounting frame 2 has two vertical struts 9 which are arranged at a distance from one another and which are each connected to one another at an upper end by means of a horizontal strut 10. In a lower area, the two vertical struts 9 are connected to one another by at least one cross member 11. This traverse 11 is also used to hold a flushing pipe 7, threaded rods 4, and an outlet bend 8. A sanitary body, not shown here, in particular a toilet bowl, can be attached to the mounting frame 2 with two threaded rods 4 which are spaced apart and fastened to the traverse 11. Furthermore, a base 12 is arranged on the mounting frame 2 below the cross member 11. The latter is in the Figures 4 and 5 shown. Alternatively, another sanitary body can also be attached to the threaded rod 4, in which case the flushing pipe and outlet bend can be supplemented or replaced by other sanitary fittings.

A cistern 5, to which the flushing pipe 7 is connected, is mounted in the mounting frame 2. The cistern 5 can be designed as usual and is connected to a water line which is connected to an inlet valve, not shown here, for introducing the flushing water. The flushing is triggered in a known manner by actuating a drain fitting, not shown here, which is stored in the cistern 5. The contents of the sanitary body are fed to the sewer pipe via the outlet bend 8 when it is flushed.

The mounting frame 2 can, however, also have a different design than that shown in the figures.

Of the Figures 1 and 2 it can be seen that the mounting frame 2 is covered with covers 14, 15, 26. The cover extends at least over the front side on which the sanitary body is arranged. In the present embodiment, the cover comprises a front cover 15, side coverings 14 and an upper cover element 26. An exemplary cover is explained in more detail below.

The cover, here the front panel 15 and the side panels 14, are laterally limited by a delimiting edge. The boundary edge bears the reference symbols 20, 21, 22.

The assembly device 1 further comprises a panel element 13. With the panel element 13, the gap 33 between the building floor 6 and the lower, horizontally extending boundary edge 21 can be covered. The boundary edge 21 comes to lie at different heights depending on the mounting height of the mounting frame 1 and thus the cover 14, 15. The panel element 13 thus forms a seal with respect to the building floor 6. Due to the arrangement of the panel element 13, the assembly device 1 can be mounted at different heights and the gap 33 between the building floor 6 and assembly filing 1 or the boundary edges of the covers 14, 15 can easily be through the Panel element 13 are covered. Thus, the mounting device 1 and ultimately also the sanitary article can be mounted at different heights according to the needs of the user. Particularly for people with a disability or older people, it can be advantageous if the sanitary article is mounted higher with respect to the floor 6, which simplifies getting up from the sitting position.

These people also have the need that the physical ailments of visitors cannot be recognized directly through the arrangement of the sanitary articles. The arrangement of the panel element 13 has the advantage in this context that the mounting height cannot be recognized directly at first glance.

Said height adjustment can be of the Figures 1 and 2 can be recognized well. In the Figure 1 is the assembly device 1 with the sanitary body lower than in the Figure 2 . When adjusting the height, for example, the height of the vertical struts 9 can be adjusted. These are preferably designed to be telescopic. Alternatively, the mounting device 1 can also be mounted on a wall 3 from different heights.

The cover by the panel element 13 also has the advantage that no dust gets under the assembly device 1. A visually addressable termination is also provided.

The screen element 13 comes to lie in a space between the mounting frame 2 and the cover 14, 15. With a first section 23, the screen element 13 protrudes from this gap over the delimiting edge 21, so that this section 23 becomes visible. With a second section 24, the panel element 13 extends partially into a space between the mounting frame and cover. This section 24 is not visible from the outside.

The space can be provided in a variety of ways. For example, it is conceivable that a sealing tape or an adhesive layer is present between the assembly frame 2 and the cover 14, 15, which provides the space.

With reference to the Figures 4 to 6 the fastening of the panel element 13 will now be explained. The screen element 13 can be held on the mounting frame 2 in a form-fitting and / or force-fitting manner.

In the Figure 6 a particularly preferred embodiment is shown. Here the panel element 13 has two slots 25 running parallel to one another. Latching elements 28, which are connected to the mounting frame 2, protrude through the slots 25. The panel element 13 is held on the mounting frame 2 by the pairing of slot 25 and latching elements 28.

Alternatively, it is also conceivable that the pairing of slot and latching element can be dispensed with, in which case the panel element 13 is held essentially by its position in the space between the mounting frame 2 and cover 14, 15.

Of the Figures 4 to 6 it can also be seen that the panel element 13 comprises a front panel section 16 and at least one, here two, lateral panel sections 17. The front panel section 16 is arranged in the area of the front panel 15 and protrudes from the space between the front panel 15 and the mounting frame 2. The side panel section 17 is arranged in the area of the side panel 14 and protrudes out of the space between the side panel 14 and the mounting frame 2.

The above-described slots 25 are here arranged in the side panel section 17, which has the advantage that the slots 25 are almost invisible from the front when installed.

In the present embodiment, the side panel section 17 ends with a holding section 34 running inclined to the side panel section 17. The holding section 34 encompasses the mounting frame 2, which additionally secures the panel element 13. In addition, a visually appealing finish is provided.

The screen element 13 is preferably designed as a thin sheet metal which is bent into the appropriate shape by a bending process. A thin sheet is understood to mean a sheet with a preferred thickness of 0.2 to 2 mm. The thin sheet metal has the advantage that no further elements have to be adjusted to create the space. The sheet metal can be an aluminum sheet or a steel sheet.

In the Figures 4 and 5 the base 12 is also shown in detail. The base 12 is connected to the mounting frame 2 and is arranged in the area of the panel element 13. The base 12 essentially serves as a reinforcement element for the panel element 13. The base 12 could also be screwed to the floor.

With reference to the Figures 3 to 5 Further features of the exemplary embodiment will now be explained. An upper cover element 26 is mounted on the horizontal strut 10, which covers the mounting frame 2 from the outside and can also form a cover for the cistern 5. The cover element 26 has fastening elements on the underside with which the cover element 26 is detachably fastened to the mounting frame 2. The fastening elements are preferably latching means or other suitable detachable fastening means. During assembly, the cover element 26 is snapped onto the assembly frame 2. It can be lifted off the mounting frame 2 again without tools. As can be seen, the cover element 26 extends over the entire width of the mounting frame 2. In the mounted state according to FIG Figures 1 and 2 A top 29 and two side surfaces 31 and 32 of the cover element 26 are visible. The top 29 forms an upper narrow side and the surfaces 31 and 32 parts of lateral narrow sides. About the side surface 32 are according to the Figures 1 and 2 two buttons 27 mounted on the decorative element 26 which are essentially flush with the top 29 and with the side surface 32. The buttons 27 each act on an actuating device arranged in the cistern to trigger the flush. The cover element 26 can be lifted off the mounting frame 2 so that the actuating device is accessible from above for an inspection. This also applies to the other fittings arranged in the cistern 5. The cover element 26 is provided with a decorative material, in particular in the area of the upper side and the side surfaces 31 and 32. This can be made of glass, plastic, a composite material, wood or stone.

A further cover is formed by a front cladding 15, which is plate-shaped and which preferably extends over the entire height and width of the mounting frame 2. The front panel 15 forms a preferably flat front side 19 and an upper horizontal boundary edge 20, a lower also horizontal boundary edge 21 and vertically extending side edges 22. The upper boundary edge 22 covers a front side 30 of the cover element 26 and is flush with the top 29 22 are flush with the side surfaces 31 and 32 in the area of the upper edge 20. The height and the width of the front panel 15 essentially correspond to the height and width of the mounting frame 2. Claims (12)

1. Mounting device (1) for a sanitary unit, comprising a mounting frame (2), which comprises means (4) for fastening the sanitary unit, sanitary fittings (5) mounted on the mounting frame (2), and a cover (14, 15, 26), which at least frontally conceals the mounting frame (2) and which is delimited by a boundary edge (20, 21, 22), wherein the mounting device (1) further comprises a screen element (13), with which, in the mounting device (2) fitted fixedly relative to a building floor (6), a gap (33) between the boundary edge (20, 21, 22) and the building floor (6) can be covered,

Mounting device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the screen element (13) is held positively and/or non-positively on the mounting frame (2), and/or in that the screen element (13) comprises at least one slot (25), wherein a latching element (28) being in connection with the mounting frame (2) forms a latching connection with the at least one slot (25).
3. Mounting device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the lateral screen portion (17) ends with a holding portion (34), which runs at an angle to the lateral screen portion (17) and encompasses parts of the mounting frame (2).

Mounting device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the said boundary edge is a lower horizontally running boundary edge (21), which, when the mounting device (1) is fitted, runs at a distance from a building floor (6), and in that the screen element (13) extends from the interspace beyond the boundary edge (21) to the building floor (6).
5. Mounting device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the mounting frame (2) is in connection with a base (12), wherein the base (12) is arranged in the region of the screen element (13).

Mounting device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the cover elements (14, 15) extend respectively over the entire area of the mounting frame (2) on which the cover elements (14, 15) rest, wherein in particular the front cladding (15) and/or the side cladding extends over the entire height and width or depth of the mounting frame (2).

Mounting device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the cover elements comprise an upper cover element (26) concealing the mounting frame (2) on the top side, and in that at least one triggering element (27), in particular a push button for triggering a flush, is preferably mounted on the upper cover element (26).

Method for fitting a mounting device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the mounting frame (2) is fitted with the sanitary fittings (5) fixedly relative to the building floor (6), in that after this the screen element (13) is arranged on the mounting frame, and in that subsequently the cover (14, 15, 26) is arranged on the mounting frame.
