Die Position einer Folienkante a oder b wird durch Lichttaster, Lichtschranken oder Kameras, welche stationär oder mitfahrend angeordnet sind, erkannt und an die Steuerung gemeldet. Die Steuerung regelt bzw. steuert die motorisch angetriebenen Positioniereinheiten 24 längs und quer so, dass die Folie 8 kantenrichtig in der Legestation 5 auf den Legetisch 20 übergeben werden kann. Wird von Sensoren (nicht dargestellt) erkannt, dass die Folie 8 bereits kantenrichtig an die zweite Saugleiste 4 übergeben wurde, erfolgt keine weitere Ausrichtung der Folie 8 auf dem Wege zur Legestation 5. Claims (8)

  1. An apparatus for folding foil into layered stacks in a laying station (5), comprising a multi-level shelf (1) for the stacks of foil and devices for drawing off the foils from the stacks of foil and transferring the same to the laying station (5) and transport devices for introducing the stack of foil into the multi-level shelf (1), characterized by
    - a transport device (28) for sorting stacks of foil (7) resting on protective boards or transport pallets (6) into several levels (29) of the multi-level shelf (1), with each level (29) being equipped with a delivery table (10), and in each level (29) visible light and/or laser markings can be projected onto the delivery table for aligning and depositing the stacks of foil (7) in the longitudinal and transverse direction by the transport device;
    - a first suction strip (2) for receiving a foil (8) from the edge of a stack of foil (7 or 7'), with the first suction strip (2) being horizontally displaceable over a short path with its own drive and being liftable and lowerable and being attached to running rails (14) which can be extended in a telescopic manner in both directions;
    - a transfer device (3) to which the foil (8) received by means of suction can be supplied by means of the first suction strip (2), which transfer device (3) is provided with a liftable and lowerable configuration by means of a lifting drive (12) with its side adjacent to the multi-level shelf (1) to the respective height of the respective level (29) and foil height, and consists of a base frame (16) into which is suspended a take-up table (17) with several revolving guided endless vacuum suction bands (18) for the further transport of the foils (8), and
    - a second suction strip (4) for receiving the foils (8) from the transfer device (3) and for further transport to the adjacent laying station (5), which second suction strip (4) is provided with a liftable and lowerable configuration and is displaceable with a carriage (32) in rails of a driving portal (25) over a laying table (20) in such a way that it is capable of sucking up a foil (8) each from the edge of the take-up table (17), lifting up the same and pulling the same over the laying table (20) and depositing it thereon.
  2. An apparatus according to claim 1, characterized in that the delivery tables (10) in the levels (29) are arranged in a displaceable manner in their longitudinal and transversal axes (X-X, Y-Y).
  3. An apparatus according to the claims 1 and 2, characterized in that chain conveyors are arranged for drawing in the transport pallets (6) onto the delivery tables (10).
  4. An apparatus according to claim 1, characterized in that the levels (29) are equipped with bipartite roller or chain conveyors for receiving and depositing the transport pallets (6), with the longitudinal edges (a) of the foils and the transverse edges (b) of the foils being alignable in an automatic manner with the help of fixedly installed light scanners or manually in keying operation according to visible light or laser markings.
  5. An apparatus according to the claims 1, 2 and 3, characterized in that the displaceable delivery tables (10) can be aligned by means of two servomotors (15) on the longitudinal axis (X-X) and by means of a servomotor (15) on the transverse axis (Y-X) via positioning units (24) automatically according to the longitudinal or transverse edges (a, b) of the foils with the help of fixedly installed light scanners or manually in keying operation according to visible light or laser markings.
  6. An apparatus according to claims 6 and one or several of the claims 2 to 5, characterized in that the foil (8) resting on the take-up table (17) can be aligned longitudinally and transversally with the take-up table (17) in the base frame (16).
  7. An apparatus according to claim 6, characterized in that the take-up table (17) in the base frame (16) is displaceable in a longitudinal or transversal way controlled by means of servomotors (19) and positioning units (24) by light scanners or light barriers or cameras.
  8. An apparatus according to claims 1 and one or several of the claims 2 to 7, characterized in that the non-aligned or longitudinally or transversally aligned foil (8) can be aligned automatically according to its longitudinal edge (a) over the laying table (20), such that a carriage (32) to which the suction strip (4) is fastened is provided with a transversally displaceable configuration via one or two positioning units (24) to the position of the traveling mechanism (22), and according to its transverse edge (b) in such a way that the suction strip (4) on the carriage (32) is provided with a positioning unit (24) in a longitudinal adjustable manner.
