Description

EP 0 318 045 A und EP 628 121 B).The invention relates to a so-called screed strip, which can be attached to a window frame or door frame by means of an adhesive tape and enables the improved connection between a plaster layer on a building wall and the window frame or door frame (compare EP 0 318 045 A and EP 628 121 B ).

The invention has for its object to make available attachable to a window frame or door frame plaster molding, which is equipped with a novel function that has not been associated with such strips.

To solve this problem, an attachable to a window frame or door frame plaster strip is provided, characterized in that it comprises a ledge component and attached to the inguinal component flat material portion with a water-impermeable area for bridging the gap between the window frame or door frame and a building wall, in which the window frame or door frame is installed has.

The concept of the invention lies in being attachable to a window frame or door frame Flush bar to combine a waterproof function. In the case of "impermeability to water", depending on the field of application, the impermeability to liquid water or the impermeability to water vapor is more important, as will become clearer below, so that "water-impermeable" means "impermeable to liquid water and / or water vapor impermeable". Has. It is also preferred if the water-impermeable region is also impermeable to air, as is the case with most water-impermeable materials.

The air inside buildings often has a comparatively high humidity, that is, compared with the air of the outside environment. a comparatively high water vapor content. The water vapor in the room air tends to reach the outside environment of the housing, wherein joints between different building components are preferred diffusion paths with comparatively lower diffusion resistance. Especially in the case of a thermal barrier coating on the outside of the building wall, as is more and more the rule, especially in new buildings, there is the possibility that water vapor penetrates from the inside into the thermal barrier coating. In the further diffusion to the outside of the thermal barrier coating, depending on the prevailing outside temperature, in many cases falls below the dew point, so that there accumulates water condensate in the thermal barrier coating. Such moisture penetration of the thermal barrier coating is highly undesirable in building physics and weakens the insulation.

Especially with thick thermal barrier coatings is not uncommon against imperfect seal against water ingress from above fight. Liquid water, which flows down in the area between the thermal barrier coating and the actual building wall, leads to moisture penetration of the actual building wall from the outside with all the known, structural-physical disadvantages.

For these reasons, it is extremely advantageous to seal just the gap between a window frame or door frame and the building wall, in which the window frame or door frame is installed, against vaporous and / or against liquid water. This joint seal can be achieved by means of the bar according to the invention with little effort on material and labor. From the comments below below will also be more apparent that you can make the seal using the bar according to the invention on the outside of the window frame or door frame, or on the inside of the window frame or door frame. Of course, if the seal is in the foreground against moisture entering from the outside, the sealing on the outside of the window frame or door frame is to be preferred.

In principle, all materials which have the property of impermeability to water and are sufficiently resistant to aging at the installation site under the conditions prevailing there are suitable for the water-impermeable region of the flat material section. However, very particular preference is plastic because of its low price and good resistance. Therefore, the water-impermeable region of the flat material section preferably consists at least to a substantial extent of plastic, particularly preferably soft polyvinyl chloride or synthetic rubber. The expression "at least to a substantial Part "was chosen because the water-impermeable region of the flat material section may well contain one or more components of another material, eg a reinforcing component made of glass fiber fabric .. As an alternative, which does not consist of plastic, eg a natural rubber material with or without fabric reinforcement is mentioned.

Also, the inguinal component is preferably at least a substantial part of plastic. A particularly preferred plastic for the water-impermeable region of the flat material section and / or for the inguinal component is polyvinyl chloride (PVC). In particular, when these two components are to be secured by welding together, it is advantageous if they consist of chemically the same material. However, there are other plastics which are also useful, e.g. Polypropylene (PP) and polystyrene (PS) for the inguinal component.

Preferably, the water-impermeable portion of the sheet portion has a strength enhancing component and a waterproofing-related component thereon. Providing two such components, each of which is specially selected for a subtask, is usually beneficial. On the other hand, it is quite possible, e.g. to work only with a sufficiently stable plastic film without a separate, strength-enhancing component.

The strength-increasing component is preferably in the form of a network of strands, preferably lattice-like woven glass fiber strands, or of synthetic fiber fabric, preferably polyester fabric. In which Polyester fabric can be a fabric of relatively loosely arranged polyester filaments, which moreover have the fabric formed with numerous round apertures of about 1 mm in diameter.

Particularly preferred examples of the material structure of the water-impermeable region of the flat material section are on the one hand fabric-reinforced plastic films (the fabric reinforcement eg from the above-mentioned glass fiber fabric) and on the other hand the above-mentioned polyester fabric with one-sided or double-sided plastic coating, in particular of a synthetic rubber, in particular EPDM (ethylene-propylene). diene-polymethylene). The two materials mentioned for the water-impermeable area are available on the market.

The flat material section preferably has a perforated region which adjoins the water-impermeable region on the side opposite the inguinal component. With the openwork area, the flat material section can be easily and well anchored to the structural component adjacent thereto. The perforated region is preferably made by the attachment of perforations, e.g. of punch holes with a diameter of 1 to 4 mm, produce. For example, in the case of the flat material portion made of the support component with plastic coating, it is preferable that the broken portion can be easily generated by omitting the plastic coating thereon.

The flat material portion is preferably attached to the inguinal component by gluing or welding or clamping. There is but even more options, such as fastening by a kind of sewing. Because of the rational production method and the particularly strong type of connection, the welding is particularly preferred, and among the possible types of welding the ultrasonic welding. The ultrasonic welding is particularly preferably carried out with additional strand of material, as will be seen below in a preferred embodiment.

The erfindungsgemäBe type of inguinal design is preferably carried out in a bar, which can also be used for a further function on the window frame or door frame. As a particularly outstanding example, the already mentioned plasterboard is called, but also a so-called fabric strip, so a bar to which a Armierungsgewebeabschnitt is fixed for embedding in a filler layer or a plaster layer of the building wall. There are strips, which are also plasterboard and fabric strip, with the invention then creates a bar with triple combination of functions. There are a number of possibilities for attaching the strip according to the invention to the window frame or door frame, such as gluing, screwing, clamping, e.g. in a suitable groove of the frame. Sticking, in particular by means of a self-adhesive spacer tape present on the strip, is very particularly preferred.

The sheet portion is normally a sheet portion having a constant width measured transverse to the longitudinal direction of the sheet. The width of the water-impermeable area is usually determined by which joint width on the building you want to safely bridge. The Width of the perforated area, if any, is usually about the same size as the width of the water impermeable area.

The invention and further developments of the invention will be explained in more detail with reference to exemplary embodiments illustrated in the drawings. It shows:

In Fig. 1, the interior of the building is denoted by "2" and the exterior of the building by "4". A building wall 6 consists of a supporting wall 7, for example of bricks or concrete and a thermal barrier coating 14. The interior 2 of the building facing flat side of the supporting wall 7 is denoted by "8", while a soffit, which runs transversely to " 10 "is designated. On the outer flat side 12 of the supporting wall 7, the thermal barrier coating 14 is attached, for example made of foamed polystyrene. In the window reveal 10, a window is installed, of which in Fig. 1, a part of the fixed, built-in window frame 16 is drawn. If you think of Fig. 1 continued a long way to the right, there is - mirror image - the other, vertical part of the built, fixed window frame 16. In the window frame 16th either the window glass is inserted directly, or there is a movable window sash.

Instead of the drawn part of a window frame 16, one can imagine a part of a door frame in a completely analogous manner. The window frame and the door frame may e.g. made of wood, plastic, metal, painted metal or aluminum.

There is a joint 18 between the supporting wall 7 and the window frame 16. Although the joint 18 is normally provided with a suitable material, e.g. Polyurethane foam or mineral wool, more or less perfectly filled. Nevertheless, in the building interior 2 located, with water vapor-laden air tends to diffuse through the joint 18 to the building exterior 4. A joint filling of mineral wool does not oppose this diffusion excessively. Even with foamed joints, diffusion paths are often present, e.g. because the foaming has not been performed perfectly or because of shrinkage processes after foaming, there is no perfect close contact between the supporting wall 7 and the foaming 20 and / or the foaming 20 and the window frame 16.

On the outside of the window frame 16 or door frame a plaster strip 22 is glued, which is shown in Fig. 1 and shown in Fig. 2 on a larger scale individually. The plaster strip 22 consists essentially of a last component 24, a fixed to the inguinal component 24 flat material portion 26, a fixed to the inguinal component 24 Armierungsgewebeabschnitt 28 and adhered to the inguinal component 24 adhesive tape 30. In the drawn sectional view has the inguinal component 24 - very roughly speaking - the shape of a horizontal, very flat rectangle with a roughly in the middle upwards forrollenden, relatively short leg 32. About half of the "lying rectangle" is a so-called protective tab 34, the above a break-off region 36 of reduced wall thickness with the remaining strip 22 is related. To the left of the break-off region 36, the adhesive tape 30 is attached to the lower side, the rear side, of the strip in FIG. 2. It is an adhesive tape made of foam material, for example of pure acrylate or butyl rubber which is provided on both flat sides with an adhesive layer.

On the leg 32, the Armierungsgewebeabschnitt 28 is secured by ultrasonic welding. At the other, longer leg 38 of the flat material portion 26 is secured by ultrasonic welding. In both cases, the ultrasonic welding is in each case carried out with an additional strand of material 40 in the form of a round welding cord, wherein the welding cord is located on the side facing away from the groin component 24 Armierungsgewebeabschnitts 28 and the flat material section 26. With the help of the respective welding string, ultrasonic welding of high strength can be easily produced.

The flat material section 26, in turn - adjacent to the inguinal component 24 - consists of a water-impermeable and air-impermeable region 42 and - on the side opposite the inguinal component 24 - a perforated region 44.

The strip component 24 is preferably made of PVC, the Armierungsgewebeabschnitt 28 is preferably made Glasseidengewebe, the flat material portion 26 is preferably made of fabric-reinforced plasticized PVC or rubber. The perforated area 44 differs from the water-impermeable area 42 by post-punched holes 46.

In Fig. 1 it can be seen how the strip is glued by means of the adhesive tape 30 on the outside of the window frame 16 or door frame. The water-impermeable region 42 bridges the gap 18 and then extends a little further at the interface between the supporting wall 7 and the heat-insulating layer 14. The perforated region 44 then extends a considerable distance further in this boundary layer.

The Armierungsgewebeabschnitt 28 extends substantially perpendicular to the flat material portion 26 at the soffit end face of the thermal barrier coating 14. The Armierungsgewebeabschnitt 28 serves for tighter anchoring putty or plaster and thus the greatest possible prevention of cracks in the filler or in the plaster or which is applied to the soffit end face of the thermal barrier coating 14. The filler or the plaster is indicated in Fig. 2 with "48" drawing.

Before applying the putty or the plaster 48 can be glued on the protective tab 34, not shown, protective film, when viewed the entire window frame 16 with its four frame parts, the rectangular window opening spans and during the application of the plaster 48 from contamination protects. After the plaster 48 is applied, you can remove the protective film and break off the protective tabs 34 all around. After this description is also understandable why you can call the Fig. 1 and 2 drawn bar 22 as a combined plaster board, fabric strip, vapor barrier strip.

From Fig. 1 it is clear that the water-impermeable region 42 of the bar 22 provides a perfect seal of the joint 18 against outward diffusion of water vapor in the thermal barrier coating. At the same time a perfect seal against the ingress of water from outside into the joint 18 is made. If a seal against diffusion of water vapor from the building interior 2 to the building exterior 4 more in the foreground as a seal against ingress of water from outside to inside, you can choose the bar 22 optionally also, mirror-inverted, attach to the inside of the window frame 16 or door frame, so that the water-impermeable region 42 bridges the gap 18 on the inside. The remainder of the water-impermeable region 42 and the perforated region 44 can be simply along the reveal 10 along, possibly even the inside 8 of the supporting wall 7 along, the areas 42 and 44 are simply covered later with the inner layer of the supporting wall 7.

It should be noted that the water-impermeable region 42 is not necessarily, as drawn in Fig. 1, the gap 18 must bridge as it were rectilinear. There, the water-impermeable region 42 may well be curved, for example approximately S-shaped, without affecting the function of the vapor diffusion barrier.

In Fig. 3, a configuration is drawn, which results when the window frame 16 or door frame is moved more moved to the building exterior 4, so is no longer directly opposite the actual wall reveal 10 but opposite the reveal front side of the thermal barrier coating 14 (industry designation: presented window frame ). In this configuration, it makes more sense to install the plaster strip 22 on the inside of the window frame 16 or door frame. Again, the water-impermeable region 42 bridges the gap 18 (which is now located between the window frame 16 and the thermal barrier coating 14). In the configuration according to FIG. 3, a reinforcement fabric section 28 fastened to the strip 22 could also be present. In many cases, however, one will do without a Armierungsgewebeabschnitt 28, because it is less required in the here applied interior plaster. For this reason, the leg 32 may be shorter.

It is understood that the entire bar 22 in its longitudinal direction, that is perpendicular to the plane of the drawing of FIG. 2, is designed to be consistent. The last component 34 is preferably produced by plastic extrusion. The reinforcing fabric section 28 and the flat material section 26 generally extend along the strip 22 with a constant width.
