Im Gegensatz zum bisher eingesetzten Mörtel kann durch die erfindungsgemäße Einputzschiene nun Dämmmaterial zur Ausfüllung von Nestern und Hohlräumen zwischen Wand und Fensteroder Türrahmen eingesetzt werden. Vorzugsweise kann das Dämmmaterial ein Kunststoffschaum sein, der sich sehr leicht durch die Öffnungen in die Hohlräume einspritzen lässt. Zuviel eingebrachter Schaum kann durch die Öffnungen wieder nach außen quellen und dort abgeschnitten werden. Insbesondere mit einem Schaum ist somit ein vollständiges und kontrolliertes Verfüllen von Hohlräumen möglich. Da Kunststoffschaum und andere Wärmedämmmaterialien hervorragende Wärmedämmeigenschaften haben, ist jetzt der Wärmeverlust zwischen dem Fenster- oder Türrahmen und der Wand auf ein Mindestmaß reduziert. Alle Hohlräume sind optimal mit wärmedämmendem Material verfüllt.
