Definitions
- the present invention relates to an arrangement for a building made of sheet metal which is bent in a single piece comprising walls and a roof.
- Transverse bending of profiled metal sheets to produce buildings is previously disclosed, although only in a limited number of embodiments.
- SE 511046 C2 according to which the sheets are secured by clamping or casting to base elements erected in the longitudinal extent of the intended building.
- the aforementioned previously disclosed method is primarily applicable to buildings in which the walls extend essentially vertically and accordingly is not as good for buildings in which the walls extend at an inclined angle outwards from the roof of the building.
- the principal object of the present invention is thus, in the first instance, to solve the aforementioned problem by simple and effective means.
- the aforementioned object is achieved by means of an arrangement in accordance with the present invention, which is characterized essentially in that the lower edge section of the respective wall section is held secured in the upward-facing wall-accommodating opening of a profile rail, and in that the opposite end of the aforementioned profile rail is executed in such a way as to be retained in its intended erection position.

- Fig. 19A shows an anchored attachment profile on a wall
- Fig. 20 shows an example of a sill-anchored attachment profile with anchorage to a building support
- Figs. 21-24 show examples of different building support proposals.
- An arrangement 1 for a building 2, in which the main part of the building consists of sheet metal which is bent in a single piece comprising walls 3, 4 and a roof 5, comprises a rail-like attachment profile 6 preferably made of metal, to which the lower edge section 3A, 4A of the respective wall section 3, 4 is attached. More specifically, the aforementioned attachment profile rail 6 exhibits an upward-facing accommodating opening 7 at one end, in which the lower edge section 3A, 4A of the respective wall is accommodated and secured, for example by screwing using self- tapping screws 8, as shown in Fig. 18, for example. The other opposing end 9 of the aforementioned profile rail is so executed as to be capable of being retained securely in its intended erection position 10.
- Figs. 16- 20 Various illustrative embodiments of such a design of an end 9 executed with an anchorage are shown in Figs. 16- 20, and these examples form a group in which the profile rail 6 designed for the purpose of anchoring the lower edge 3A, 4A of the wall section exhibits a bent enclosing part 12 open in a downward direction 11. This enclosing part 12 is indented to engage around a support 13 erected on the ground, such as a wall 13A, a sill 13B or some other beam 13C designed with an adapted form.
- the profile rails 6 can be secured by means of screws 75, 76 to the intended support 13 or weight 16.
- FIG. 17-18 Another example of a design of an attachment profile rail 6 1 for the purpose of the secure anchoring of the lower edge of the wall section is shown in Figs. 17-18 and in this case comprises a bent channel 15 open in a direction upwards 14, which is adapted for the accommodation of an appropriate guantity of stabilizing material 16 therein, such as concrete, sand or stone, etc.
- Fig. 15 also shows an example of how a pile hook 17 is attached to a totally inverted attachment profile rail 6 2 in holes 18 arranged in the inner accommodating opening 7 of the rail for a wall 4, and a weight 19 of appropriate size is inserted into the inner accommodating part 20 of the pile hook 17. All the examples shown permit effective securing of the building even in high winds.
- the aforementioned wall section accommodating opening 7 of an attachment profile rail which consists of metal, exhibits an end wall 21 situated in a lower position which is inclined in a direction upwards so that an acute angle 22 is obtained in the accommodating opening 7 1 , which is formed at the bottom of the space to enable contact to take place with the lower end 3A, 4A of an aforementioned corrugated wall sheet in the area of the upper corner part 23 of the sheet, whereas the lower corner part 24 of the sheet is free of the supporting wall 21.
- no capillary suction is created in the area of the lower sections 3A, 4A of the wall, which is important since the aforementioned profile rails 6, 6 1 for the attachment also function as a channel for leading away rainwater.
- Water- conducting drainage holes 25 can be provided for this purpose at the lower end of the aforementioned profile rail 6, 6 1 .
- Fig. 16 shows the manner of supporting a profile rail 6 on supports 13 which are adjustable for height 32 by means of nut elements screwed onto threaded rods 33 securely cast into a number of concrete plinths 34 arranged at intervals on the ground 31.
- the height of the profile rail 6 can now be easily adjusted by screwing the nut.
- a variant of cast-in threaded rods 33 1 , 33 2 is shown in Fig. 16A, where a closed part 78 is formed by two assembled and secured C- profiles 79, 80, and the profile 63 also encloses the formed part 78, which profiles are screwed to one another by means of screws 79 on the side of a side wall 43 secured in an upright position. Nuts 80 hold the entire assembly together.
- Fig. 19A shows how a profile 6 is screwed securely to a wall 13A by means of bolts.
- a profile rail attachment shown in Fig. 20 includes the enclosure of a beam-shaped support 13C in the form of a girder which is set up and is thus secured by means of the fastening joint 36 for the profile rail and a corrugated fastener 38 to wooden sills 13B laid out on the ground 37, which in turn are securely anchored to the ground 37 by means of ground pegs 26 and fixing clamps 38.
- An internal support 39 for the finished erected building 2 is also securely attached to the aforementioned wooden sill 13B by means of bolts 140.
- the aforementioned roof 5 of the building 2 which can be erected with the help of a crane or a helicopter 411, for example, as shown in Fig. 1, can be arranged so that it spans the building, for example by its middle 5A exhibiting subjacent supports 39, 40, and, as described above, by the lower ends 3A, 4A of the walls being clamped in such a way as to be retained in a specific secured position I.
- a spacer 40 for example in the form of a beam which is arranged flat, as shown in Fig. 1, or which is arranged on end, as shown in Fig. 4, can form a spanning support. The spanning is achieved after the first frame has been erected and the roof has been installed above it.
- the support 39, 40 can also be formed from telescopic vertical or inclined stays 39 and from essentially horizontal beams 40.
- the aforementioned supports, can be extended for spanning the sheet by means of a telescope 77.
- Shown in Fig. 11 is an example of a beam 40 formed by a horizontal support beam made of sheet metal which is bent to match the form of the corrugated roof 5, so that it exhibits a congruent form which .jtiatches that of the underside 5B of the roof-
- Shown in.Fig-. 3 is an example of a building 2 which exhibits walls 42. ' with an inset door 43 and windows 44 and which is suitable, for example, as a hunting cottage, a temporary dwelling or a clothes changing area, etc.
- a floor 45 can also be present in a produced building 2, as shown in Fig. 6, and thermal insulation 46 between two sheet metal shells 47, 48, as shown in Figs. 7 and 8.
- Shown m Fig. 13 is an example of a .spacer 40 for a telescopic frame and joint profile combination forming a longitudinal beam construction for spanning the roof sheet.
- the wind load relieves the tension, why wind and pension are not added.
- the invention makes it possible to obtain a building system which simplifies and lowers the cost of a building method, which is as good as screw-free, without any screw attachment being necessary in the formed roof 5 of the transversely bent profiled sheets, with screwing only taking place at the lower ends of the metal sheets in the lower edge sections 3A, 4A of the walls as they are formed.
- the subjacent formed frame 49 functions as an element for absorbing wind loads and snow loads and as a safety stress-relieving component in conjunction with assembly of the building 2.
- Shown in Fig. 5 is the construction of a building 2 which exhibits a so-called main partition wall 50
- shown in Fig. 6 is the construction of a building 2 in which the walls 3, 4 are secured to an upright, highly profiled sheet 52 in accordance with the invention projecting from concrete floor plates 51 with a thicker, outer part 13A forming a wall .
- Fig. 9 shows an example of a building 2 constructed from a supporting telescopic frame 49 without any ' attachment to the roof 5 and walls 3 and with a transverse beam 40 bent to an angle a the top in combination with telescopic posts and support legs 39.
- Figs . 22 and 23 show examples of buildings which form large halls with doors 56 which can be clad with sheet metal, plastic or similar, and which are so arranged as to be displaced " telescopica lly on an installed horizontal frame 57 formed from u-profiles, for example .
- Fig . 23 Shown in Fig . 23 is a building 2 which has only a single downward-bent wall 104 , although its attachment takes place in accordance with the method described above to a wall 13A in the area of the lower edge section of the wall .
- the invention described above is not restricted to the illustrative example shown and may be varied within the scope of the Patent Claims without departing from the idea of invention.
