Definitions
- the invention relates to a terminal block for electrical distributors, in particular for Connection of protective and neutral conductors (PE / N terminal), with one conductor rail and a large number of connection elements for connecting the conductor to be connected to the conductor rail, a support bar and attachable to the support bar in a row, at least one of the connecting element modules with an insulating housing and a conductor rail section arranged in the housing for the formation of the conductor rail, as well as with bridges for the electrical connection of the conductor rail sections on the Carrier strip of adjacent modules.
- PE / N terminal protective and neutral conductors
- connection strips composed of connection modules are in distribution boxes used where e.g. with their ends on the side walls of the distribution box in such a distance are attached from the floor so that cables or wires fed to the distribution box, e.g. first under the bar and then in a loop to connect to the bar the bar can be returned.
- the present invention relates to a further development of those described in the introduction Terminal strip through which the attachment of the modules to the carrier strip is made easier becomes.
- the housing and the carrier strip have devices for plugging on of the module on the support bar transversely to the longitudinal direction of the support bar.
- connection strip which is used to attach the modules to one, possibly already in the distribution box installed, carrier strip only requires a translatory plug movement, leaves assemble conveniently with little effort.
- the module is forming a solid Connection snaps into place on the carrier bar.
- the carrier strip expediently has an angle profile with a first profile leg and a for this purpose, preferably arranged at an angle of 90 °, second profile leg.
- the through the Angle profile leg formed corner forms a seat for the modules to be strung together, the module housing with side surfaces at an angle to one another against the profile legs is applied.
- the module is on the carrier bar in one direction can be plugged parallel to the first profile leg against the second profile leg.
- the devices for plugging the module onto the support bar can be connected to the Housing of the module connected hook element with a, preferably parallel to comprise a hook leg extending on one side of the housing.
- a hook leg extending on one side of the housing.
- Carrier strip preferably the first profile leg, for arrangement between the hook leg and the housing of the module.
- the hook element preferably overlaps the free end edge in the attached state of the first angle leg.
- Means for plugging the module onto the support bar can also one of the Housing of the module projecting nose for engaging in a recess on the support bar comprise, this recess is expedient in the second angle leg is formed. In the embodiment in which the module against the second angle leg strikes, this nose ensures that the module is attached to the second angle leg, if necessary in a plane perpendicular to the direction of insertion.
- a latch for is on the housing of the module formed the engagement in a recess in the first angle leg.
- the locking nose is opposite the hook leg and stands by one through incisions in the housing wall formed, elastically movable tongue.
- the support bar Devices for plugging and / or latching repeating at a grid spacing educated. Accordingly, different modules can be attached to the support bar that differ in length by the grid spacing or a multiple thereof.
- the reference numeral 1 denotes a support bar, which has an angular profile with a first angle leg 2 and a second angle leg 3.
- the Carrier strip is at its ends in one via snap-in connector devices 4 to fix the electrical distribution box.
- first angle leg On the first angle leg are at a grid spacing near the free end of the Legs formed through recesses 5, which engage in a locking lug can, as will be explained below.
- the continuous recesses 6 limit one long side of the first angle leg 2 and each protrude into one in the second Angle leg 3 formed recess 7 into it.
- the second angle leg 3 has a bevel 8, which in the embodiment shown is labeled with slot numbers.
- angle legs 2 and 3 are each connected to one another via an end plate 9.
- modules 10 are attached to the carrier strip 1, which, as will be explained below, are attached to the bar and snapped into place. 2, in addition to a module 10, two shorter modules 10 'are and a longer module 10 ′′ is attached to the carrier strip 1.
- the modules mentioned differ from each other by a multiple of the above mentioned grid length.
- the module has a plastic housing 11 formed in several parts from housing parts 12 and 13 on, in which a copper conductor rail section 14 enclosed and between the mated housing parts 12 and 13 is fixed.
- the conductor rail section 14 has 8 openings 15 in the exemplary embodiment shown for the introduction of a conductor 16 to be connected, each opening 15 having a Spring 17 for clamping the conductor 16 to the conductor rail section 14 is assigned.
- Each opening 15 is also a supply channel 18 for the conductor 16 and a plug-in channel 19 for the introduction of a tool 20 for releasing the conductor 16 from the clamp connection assigned.
- the module shown in FIGS. 3 and 4 has two feed channels 21 for the Supply of conductors with a particularly large cross-section that are connected to screw terminals Clamping screws 22 are connectable.
- Each screw terminal has a clamping cage 24, in the one connected to the conductor rail section 14, not visible in the figures Contact tongue engages.
- the clamping cages 24 are each through an opening in the housing 11 out of the housing.
- the substantially cuboid housing 11 has a projecting at two corners Nose 25 on.
- the hook leg 27 is spaced apart from one another by two in the longitudinal direction of the carrier strip 1 arranged webs 28 and 29 connected to the housing 11.
- the locking lug 30 is elastic on one formed by incisions in the housing wall movable tongue 31 arranged.
- the tongue 31 delimits a plug-in channel on one side 32, into which one leg of a connecting bridge 33 (Fig. 2) can be inserted, which for electrical Connection of the conductor rail sections 14 arranged on the support bar 1 adjacent Serves modules.
- the bridge leg engages in an opening 34, which in one with the tongue 23 of the conductor rail section 14 is formed.
- the module is positioned transversely to the carrier strip 1 in a plug-in direction placed parallel to the first angle leg 2 on the support bar 1, the hook element 26 engages over the free end edge of the first angle leg 2.
- the in the direction of insertion Carrier strip 1 beveled latching lug 30 comes against the free end edge of the angle leg 2 to the system so that the elastic tongue 31 bends.
- the projecting lugs 25 each enter one of the recesses 6 in the second angle leg 3 of the support bar 1.
- the nose 30 snaps into one of the recesses 5 on the first Angle leg 2 a.
- the in the direction of the second angle leg 3 from the housing 11 protruding clamping cages 24 each have 7 place in one of the recesses.
- the length of the recesses 6 is in the longitudinal direction the support bar 1 dimensioned so that a corresponding nose in this recess of an adjacent module can intervene.
