Claims (7)
- Plattenkokille zum Stranggießen von Metall, insbesondere von Stahl, umfassend vier mittels Wasserkästen (1, 1'; 2, 2') kühlbare, einen im wesentlichen rechteckigen Formhohlraum (3) auf ein vorgegebenes Strangformat begrenzende Kokillenplatten (4, 4'; 5, 5'), wobei jeweils paarweise einander gegenüberliegende Platten (4, 4') mit einem quer zu diesen anschließenden Plattenpaar (5, 5') mittels Spannelementen (7, 7') miteinander zusammenspannbar sind,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die beiden Plattenpaare (4, 4') bzw. (5, 5') an eckständigen Stoßfugen (6, 6') miteinander kraftschlüssig aneinandergefügt und durch die an ihren Außenflächen form- und kraftschlüssig anliegenden Wasserkästen (1, 1'; 2, 2') zusammengehalten sind, und die Wasserkästen ihrerseits durch über Eck angeordnete Spannelemente (7, 7') verbindbar sind. - Plattenkokille nach Anspruch 1,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass den Spannelementen (7, 7') zur Kompensation von Wärmedehnungen der Kokillenplatten (4, 4'; 5, 5') im Spannbereich Federpakte (11) unterlegt sind. - Plattenkokille nach Anspruch 1 oder 2,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Wasserkästen (1, 1'; 2, 2') ohne mechanische oder geometrische Beeinflussung der Kokillenplatten (4, 4'; 5, 5'), ausschließlich mit Kraft- und Formschluß, an diesen anliegen. - Plattenkokille nach einem oder mehreren der Ansprüche 1 bis 3,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die mindestens einem einander gegenüberliegenden Plattenpaar (4, 4') zugeordneten Wasserkästen (1, 1') an ihren Extremitäten mit an den Stirnflächen (8, 8') der Kokillenplatten des anderen Plattenpaares (5, 5') abstützbaren Einstellschrauben (9, 9') ausgerüstet sind. - Plattenkokille nach einem oder mehreren der Ansprüche 1 bis 4,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die den Kokillenplatten (4, 4') bzw. (5, 5') zugeordneten Wasserkästen (1, 1'; 2, 2') an ihren inneren Extremitäten mit Nuten (10, 10') zum einlegen von Dichtungen, z.B. in Form von Schnurringen aus elastischem Material, ausgebildet sind. - Plattenkokille nach einem oder mehreren der Ansprüche 1 bis 5,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Kokillenplatte (4, 4'; 5, 5') auf der dem Wasserkasten (1, 1'; 2, 2') zugewandten Rückseite keine Kühlmittelbohrungen oder eingefräste Kühlmittelnuten aufweist. - Plattenkokille nach einem oder mehreren der Ansprüche 1 bis 6,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß Kühlmittelspalten oder Kühlmittelnuten (12, 12') im Wasserkasten (1, 1'; 2, 2'), insbesondere an der der jeweiligen Kokillenplatte (4, 4'; 5, 5') zugeordneten Wasserkastenwand ausgebildet sind.
