Die Drehzapfen der Backen sind nach aussen versetzt, so dass die Backen den Skischuh nur frei geben bei einer Seitenkraft nach innen oder einem Torsionsmoment nach aussen oder innen, nicht aber bei einer Seitenkraft nach aussen.
