Definitions
- the invention relates to a floor drain consisting of a Housing with an inlet and an outlet as well as an odor trap element, which can be arranged inside the housing and optionally in that Sieves and filters that can be inserted into the housing as well as cover and filter elements are provided.
- Floor drains of the above type are known in various designs. They serve different types of materials, for example dissipate liquid, pasty, free-flowing materials that over a drainage channel system can be fed to the inlet of the floor drain.
- the floor drain itself consists in a known manner of a housing that is generally cylindrical.
- a collar element is provided on the side of the inlet the corresponding screw elements are arranged to the floor drain Fasten.
- a Process provided, which via a labyrinthine guide within the Cylinder is connected to the inlet.
- the labyrinthine guide within the housing is designed in such a way that from the point of view of the inlet, initially an inclined baffle is welded directly to the interior of the housing, the Baffle usually more than half the cross section of the housing of the floor drain and so usually over the plane of symmetry of the Housing protrudes.
- the baffle preferably as a one-piece Part is formed, a sheet metal element is provided, which in the Shows depth towards the drain. The side walls of this sheet metal element are also firmly welded to the housing.
- the odor trap element which in some embodiments is formed from a labyrinthine odor trap element, is designed as a bell-like closure element for some provided in particular in the case of labyrinth-like odor trap elements, point symmetrical to the one baffle and the one sheet metal element to arrange another baffle and another sheet metal element. This too Both elements are directly on the inner wall of the floor drain arranged and extend from the outlet to the inlet.
- the liquid flow must first flow in the direction of the drain, meets a baffle there and is then forwarded along further sheet back towards the inlet and flows then over the end of the further sheet metal element back towards the drain.
- baffle element In order to clean such floor drains, it is provided in the area of the inlet arranged baffle element to arrange an opening by means of a closure element can be closed. This makes it possible through this opening both onto the further sheet metal element of the odor trap element to access, as well as the process itself.
- this closure element is removed and for example the floor drain accordingly using a high-pressure cleaner spouted. This is supposed to blockages in the labyrinthine Execution of the odor trap element form, be eliminated. Due to the increased flow caused by a pressure washer arises, the side walls are then cleaned.
- screens and gratings above the odor trap element can usually be arranged within the housing of the floor drain.
- the floor drains according to the prior art generally consist of Stainless steel.
- the floor drain Due to the arrangement of the odor trap element within the housing the floor drain is an exact design of the baffle walls and the other sheet metal elements of the utmost importance. It is also necessary exact welding seams, the baffle walls and the other sheet metal elements connect to the inside of the housing wall so as to ensure that the odor trap element also functions accordingly can exercise.
- the distance between the end of the first sheet metal element and the further baffle plate so low that parts contained in the fluid flow and reach a certain size, quickly the odor trap can clog. Only by rinsing with a high pressure device can then be very complex again the corresponding constipation be eliminated.
- the object of the invention is a floor drain of the above Way to improve that the disadvantages according to the state of the art Technology can be avoided.
- the solution principle of the task is the odor trap element, which is arranged in the floor drain, to make it removable.
- the odor trap element is an independent one Component forms in which the odor trap element around has the floor drain adapted housing, being within the housing the known baffle plate with baffle plates with the corresponding further sheet metal elements is arranged.
- the A handle element is provided on the inlet side, by means of which the odor trap element removed from the floor element in a simple manner can be.
- a ring element is provided in the inner wall the housing of the floor drain is arranged. This ring element works with a ring element on the side of the inlet of the odor trap is arranged.
- a closure element is preferably also provided, which causes the odor trap element firmly against that in the housing of the floor Ring element is pressed.
- a bayonet catch is preferred here intended.
- it can also be provided a thread or corresponding hook elements that have a backdrop, which cause that with increasing rotation of the odor trap element a further pressing of the odor trap element on the ring element is effected in the housing of the floor drain.
- odor trap element Due to the fact that the odor trap element can be removed from the base element there are two components that are separate from each other further refine accordingly. To this end, for example, is according to the invention provided the surfaces of both the odor trap element as well as electropolishing the floor channel. The application of this Procedure in no way creates difficulties as all Angle both inside the odor trap element and inside of the floor drain are easily accessible.
- Another advantage of the two-part floor drain is that that the processes are independent of the design of the odor trap element Can be attached as required to the outer wall of the floor drain are. For example, it is possible on the bottom of the case to attach a drain or projecting laterally from the housing because not on the installation of baffle plates and other sheet metal elements in the housing must be taken into account.
- the floor drain 1 is a cylindrical housing 2, with the side of the inlet 3 of the floor drain 1 laterally projecting flange elements 4 are arranged, by means of which the floor drain 1 - in the Drawings not shown - can be attached accordingly.
- At least one ring element is inside the housing 2 of the floor drain 1 5 and / or a web-like formation 6 is provided, with the web-like formation 6 optionally a sieve, a filter 7 or the like can be positioned.
- the attachment of the odor trap element according to the invention 8 provided, in addition to the ring element 5 Fastenings 24 are arranged, by means of which the odor trap element 8 is pressed directly against the ring element 5.
- a sealing element 11 is between the lateral projection 10 of the odor trap element 8 and the ring element 5 in order to prevent that corresponding smells in the drain side 12 of the floor drain in Direction inlet 3 and thus can penetrate into corresponding rooms.
- the odor trap element 8 is designed as an independent part. This also consists of a housing 9 which is cup-shaped is and on one side, not in the bottom area of the housing, but from this has an opening 13 spaced apart.
- baffle plate 14 protrudes into the interior 15 of the housing 9 of the odor trap element 8 a baffle plate 14 such that it is at a certain angle extends to the axis of symmetry 16 of the odor trap element 8.
- free end preferably attaches in one piece to a further sheet metal part 17, that divides the case into two areas.
- an opening 18 is provided which can be closed by means of a cover 19 is. This opening 18 is used when the odor trap element is inserted 8 in the floor drain 1 to the opening 13 in the housing 9 of the odor trap element 8, if there are corresponding ones Disturbances occur.
- the fasteners 9 are on the ring element 5 arranged at a distance of 90 ° to each other. This arrangement is arbitrary selectable. The aim should be that with increasing rotation towards the Arrow 30 pressed the odor trap element 8 against the ring element 5 in order to avoid that from the outlet 12 in the direction of the inlet 3 get smells accordingly.
- this attachment 9 is set out in more detail.
- the seal 11 is arranged between the projection 10 of the housing 9 of the odor trap element 8 and the ring element 5.
- an opening 31 is provided, into which the fastening 9 penetrates and the corresponding closure of the odor trap element 8 causes.
- FIGS. 6-8 differs differ from the embodiment shown in Figs. 1-5 in that the inlet 12 'is not laterally on the housing 2 of the floor drain 1 'is arranged, but extends vertically away from it.
- Odor trap elements Due to the two-part design of the floor drain 1 and the corresponding one Odor trap element 8, it is possible, on the one hand, different Odor trap elements, for example labyrinthine odor trap elements, but also to use bell locking elements, and others it is possible to freely arrange the drain 12, 12 ', since the arrangement the process in no way disturbing the position of the odor trap 8 is.
- a floor drain is thus created in a very simple and inexpensive manner that is very easy to manufacture on the one hand and on the other due to the removal of the odor trap element from the floor drain very easy to clean and very easy when it becomes constipated Function can be restored.
