Claims (5)

  1. Elektrischer Backofen mit einem Backraum (2), einem Heizelement (4) und einem Schirm (5), der die Strahlung des Heizelements (4) zum Inneren des Backraums (2) reflektieren kann, wobei der Schirm nur am Heizelement (4) befestigt ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die obere Wand (2a) des Backraums (2) eine Öffnung (7) zum Abfiihren der Kochdünste umfaßt, wobei die Abführöffnung zum Inneren des Backraums (2) durch eine Abführleitung (11) verlängert ist, die mit einem Ende (11a) unter dem Heizelement (4) mündet.
  2. Elektrischer Backofen nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Schirm (5) gegenüber dem gesamten Heizelement (4) erstreckt und der Schirm (5) eine Öffnung (8) aufweist, die im wesentlichen gegenüber der Abführöffnung angeordnet ist.
  3. Elektrischer Backofen nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass er einen umlaufenden Schlitz (10) zwischen dem Schirm (5) und dem Backraum (2) aufweist.
  4. Elektrischer Backofen nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sich das Heizelement (4) und der Schirm (5) jeweils in zu einer oberen Wand (2a) des Backraums (2) parallelen Ebenen erstrecken.
  5. Elektrischer Backofen nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Ende (11a) der Abführleitung (11) durch ein perforiertes Gitter (12) verschlossen ist.
