Im Gegensatz zu den aus dem Stand der Technik bekannten Maßnahmen entfallen somit aufwendige Führungs- und Abstützmaßnahmen an anderen Bauelementen des Tores. Im Übrigen wird der Antriebsmotor während des Öffnungs- oder Schließvorgangs lediglich horizontal verfahren. Vertikale Führungsabschnitte für den Antriebsmotor sind nicht vorhanden. Auch dies unterstützt ein funktionssicheres und fehlerfreies Öffnen und Schließen des Tores. Der Antriebsmotor kann bei der erfindungsgemäßen Ausgestaltung über vorzugsweise nur ein einziges Verbindungselement, z. B. eine Verbindungsstange, am oberen Bereich des Torblattes angeschlossen werden. Dabei ist es möglich, dass das Verbindungselement bzw. die Verbindungsstange nur relativ kurz ausgeführt wird. Dies wiederum bedingt, dass der Abstand des Antriebsmotors zum obersten Paneel im geöffneten Zustand des Tores nur sehr gering ist. Hierzu weist der Antriebsmotor 8 ein Antriebsrad auf, das als Ritzel 14 ausgebildet ist. Das Ritzel 14 ist in der oberen Laufschiene 6 geführt und ist unterhalb des Strangelementes bzw. im Ausführungsbeispiel unterhalb des Zahnriemens 13 angeordnet. Bei einer Antriebsbewegung bzw. Rotation des Antriebsrades bzw. Ritzels 14 ist der Antriebsmotor insbesondere durch Formschluss des Ritzels 14 mit der der Laufschiene zugewandten gezahnten Unterseite des Zahnriemens 13 längs der oberen Laufschiene 6 verfahrbar. Der Zahnriemen 13 ist also mit seiner gezahnten Oberfläche zum Laufschienenboden 12 hin orientiert. Insbesondere in der Fig. 2 ist erkennbar, dass bei einer Bewegung des Antriebsmotors 8 längs der oberen Laufschiene 6 am Ort des Ritzels 14 der Zahnriemen 13 stets von dem Laufschienenboden 12 abgehoben ist und über das Ritzel 14 läuft. Zur Führung des Antriebsmotors 8 in der oberen Laufschiene 6 sind außerdem zwei auf dem Strangelement laufende Führungsrollen 15 vorgesehen. Fig. 3 zeigt weiterhin, dass die obere Laufschiene 6 als Hohlprofil ausgebildet ist, welches lediglich an einer Längsseite geöffnet ist. Vorzugsweise weist die Verbindungsstange 18 keine weiteren Gelenkverbindungen auf. In den Figuren 1, 2 und 4 ist erkennbar, dass die Verbindungsstange 18 verhältnismäßig kurz ausgeführt werden kann. Das ist aufgrund des funktionssicheren erfindungsgemäßen Antriebs möglich, ohne dass durch die geringe Länge der Verbindungsstange 18 eine problemlose Öffnungs- oder Schließbewegung beeinträchtigt wird. Fig. 4 zeigt, dass wegen der geringen Länge der Verbindungsstange 18 auch der Abstand des Antriebsmotors 8 zu dem obersten Paneel 2 relativ gering ist, so dass die obere Laufschiene 6 gegenüber den entsprechenden aus dem Stand der Technik bekannten Laufschienen kürzer ausgeführt werden kann. - Die Verbindungsstange 18 ist zweckmäßigerweise und im Ausführungsbeispiel im (bezogen auf die Höhe des Torblattes 1 im geschlossenen Zustand) oberen Viertel des Torblattes 1 angeschlossen bzw. ist hier an das oberste Paneel 2 des Torblattes 1 angeschlossen.In the FIGS. 1 . 2 and 4 it can be seen that the drive motor 8 is connected via only one connecting element with the door leaf 1.
