Das kann erreicht werden, wenn die Führungsschienenanordnung zusätzlich zu den Führungsschienen auch noch eine Verbindungsschiene aufweist, deren Länge dem durch die Torblattbreite vorgegebenen Abstand zwischen den Führungsschienen entspricht. Diese Verbindungsschiene kann bei der Montage des Tors im der Wandöffnung zugewandten vorderen Bereich der Führungsschiene als Montagehilfe benutzt werden. Es wurde bereits vorgeschlagen, diese Montageprobleme dadurch zu lösen, daß der Antriebsmotor direkt an das Torblatt gekoppelt und längs einem in die Führungsschiene eingelegten Zahnriemen verfahren wird.
