Definitions

  • the invention relates to a golf bag for a sorted reception of golf clubs consisting of iron and wood, including putters.
  • Each golf club has a shaft with a handle at one end and a neck with a head at its other end.
  • Each head has a contact surface which protrudes from the shaft with a predetermined lying angle and a striking surface which is inclined to a vertical plane passing through the axis of the shaft at a predetermined loft angle.
  • a golf bag known from GB 917 556 A has an upper plate, a lower plate and an intermediate plate arranged between them, which have the same dimensions with two opposite long side edges and with two substantially equal opposite short side edges and are fixed by struts at a distance and parallel to one another are.
  • round holes are provided in a predetermined arrangement for receiving pipes, which extend from the holes in the upper plate through the holes in the intermediate plate to the lower plate and whose inner diameter for smooth movement of the
  • the handles and shafts of the golf clubs are sized.
  • the plates and the tubes are covered by panels of material which can be fastened to the outside of the plates, so that the tubes inside the approximately cuboid body are not visible from the outside.
  • the end faces of the handles of the golf clubs stand on the lower plate, while their heads protrude above the upper plate in accordance with the respective shaft length and, when the golf bag is tilted to one side, align themselves downward due to their weight.
  • a golf bag has a top plate with a trapezoidal shape and holes arranged in three parallel rows with connected tubes for the insertion or insertion of the handles and shafts of the golf clubs.
  • housing-like attachments are applied in front of each hole, which are designed so that each head rests with its outer surface.
  • the contact surfaces of the attachments are therefore adapted to the respective loft angle.
  • the distance between adjacent attachments is selected so that it is not possible to spin the club head. It is only possible to turn the club head by 180 ° when the club head is pulled out of the associated tube via the attachments.
  • the essays must be solid, otherwise they can break off when the stresses occur.
  • the upper plate can be designed such that the attachments are drawn as a negative inside the upper plate, which makes the production complex and also makes gripping the club heads difficult.
  • CA 1 258 660 A shows a ball rack in the form of a tubular body for holding golf balls.
  • a hole is provided in the lower region which only allows a golf ball to be removed if it is lifted from below by a finger inserted through a further opening.
  • the object on which the invention is based is to design the golf bag of the type described in the introduction in such a way that the irons are always in a predetermined order state when assigned to only one long side edge of the upper plate.
  • This object is achieved on the basis of the golf bag described in US-A-5699906 in that extends from the upper plate perpendicular to it from the tubes a fixedly connected to it or forming a piece with it web wall.
  • the web wall is aligned on its outer side with the one long side edge and runs on its inner side essentially parallel to its outer side, the holes for the irons being circumferential along a peripheral wall with a sector angle of 100 ° to the hole center Encloses 140 °.
  • the web wall has, at least in the region of this peripheral wall, a shoulder which is parallel to its inner side and extends towards the center of the hole.
  • grooves are recessed in the web wall, each extending obliquely between the holes and the outer side of the web wall such that, when the irons are arranged in the associated holes, their heads are aligned with one another and their contact surfaces are essentially in lie on one level.
  • the distance between the lower plate and the bottom of the grooves is greater than the longitudinal extension of the longest shaft of the iron, so that the heads hang in the grooves.
  • the web wall has a height above the upper plate which is 50 to 100% of the height of the head when it is projected into the vertical plane passing through the axis of the shaft.
  • the height of the web wall is advantageously 5 to 10 times the height of the shoulder surface.
  • the aspect ratio of the long margin to the short margin can be selected between 1.5 and 2.5.
  • the long side edges and the narrow side edges of the plates are preferably curved outwards with a substantially identical radius of curvature, the radius of curvature advantageously being 1.5 to 2.0 times the center distance of the long side edges.
  • the long side edges can be the same length.
  • the plates essentially have a rectangular cross-section with sides that are equally curved on the outside.
  • the one long side edge of the plates assigned to the holes for the irons can be somewhat longer than the other long side edge, so that the plates have a slight trapezoidal shape with side edges curved outwards. Due to the longer one side edge, the holes for the irons and the associated pipes can be formed with a slightly larger inner diameter.
  • the plates and / or the pipes more suitably consist of plastic, such as acrylic glass, or of metal, for example aluminum.
  • a substantially rectangular opening can be provided in the middle of the upper plate, into which an envelope extending between the upper plate and the intermediate plate can be inserted.
  • the golf club 11 shown in FIG. 1 has a shaft 12 made of steel or carbon fiber material, which has a handle 13 at one end and a head 14 at its other end, which has a neck 19 on the shaft side.
  • the head 14 has a contact surface 17 for contacting the floor and a striking surface 18.
  • the inclination of the shaft 12 and the contact surface 17 is the lie angle 16.
  • the striking surface 18 forms a loft with a vertical plane parallel to the shaft 12.
  • the height of the head 14, which is projected into the vertical plane passing through the axis of the shaft 12, is denoted by H.
  • the golf bag has an upper plate 21 and an intermediate plate 22 with corresponding holes, and a lower plate 23 with small water drainage holes.
  • the upper plate 21, the intermediate plate 22 and the lower plate 23 are connected to one another by bracing rods which can be recognized as screw heads 24 in such a way that they are parallel to one another and aligned with respect to their holes, so that from the holes of the upper plate 21 extending through the holes in the intermediate plate 22 tubes 26 extend between the upper plate 21 and the lower plate 23.
  • Wheels (not shown) can be attached to the intermediate plate 22.
  • the plates 21, 22 and 23 in the embodiment of FIG. 6 have two long side edges 31 and 32 and two short side edges 33 and 34, which results in a rectangular shape with side edges which are slightly curved outwards with a substantially same radius of curvature.
  • the plates in the embodiment of Fig. 9 have two equally long, slightly outwardly curved side edges 33 and 34, but two differently long side edges 31 and 32, so that the plates have a trapezoidal shape with an essentially equal radius of curvature Have margins.
  • the one side edge 31 assigned to the holes for the irons is somewhat longer than the other long side edge 32.
  • the holes for the irons assigned to a long side edge in FIG. 6 are designated S, W and 9 to 3 in this order, so that the loft angle of the irons decreases from left to right.
  • the other side edge 32 from the short side edges 33 and 34 are each symmetrically assigned two holes 35 and 36 or 39 and 40 for wood or long irons, between which two larger holes 34 and 38 are arranged for an umbrella or a ball net and the putter are.
  • a hole 41 and 42 is assigned to each of the short side edges 33 and 34, for example for receiving a tubular ball rack known per se, which, as can be seen from FIG. 2, does not extend fully to the intermediate plate 22.
  • Opening 29 is provided, through which a sleeve can be used to hold objects, which is accessible from the side, as can be seen from FIG. 2.
  • Such lateral access also exists between the intermediate plate 22 and the lower plate 23 to a space between the tubes 26, which are assigned in the holes S, W 9 to 3 and 35 to 40 in the upper plate 21. Wheels of a wheel set, not shown, which can be attached to the intermediate plate 22, can be introduced into this intermediate space, for example.
  • the upper plate 21 has a web wall 50 attached to it or in one piece with it, which extends vertically upward from the surface opposite the tubes (FIGS. 2 and 7) between the short side edges 33 and 34 and in association with that a long side edge 31 extends.
  • the web wall 50 has an outer side 51 which is aligned with the one long side edge 31 of the upper plate 21, and an inner side 52 which is substantially parallel to the outer side 51 and the circumference of the holes S, W, 9 to 3 along a peripheral wall 54 with a sector angle ⁇ of 120 ° related to the hole center, which is shown in FIG. 6 for the hole 9.
  • the outer side wall 21 extends over the upper plate 32 at a height h which corresponds to 70% of the height H (FIG. 1), that is to say the height of the head 14 projected into the plane going through the axis of the shaft 12.
  • the inner side 52 of the web wall 50 has in the upper region a shoulder 53 directed towards the center of the hole, which has a shorter distance to the other side edge 32 than the peripheral wall 54.
  • the shoulder 53 which is slightly rounded toward the outer side 51 of the web wall 50, thus projects somewhat into the diameter of the holes S, W, 9 to 3 and the associated tubes 26.
  • the height h of the web wall 50 is 7 times the height extension of the Shoulder 53.
  • the web wall 50 has end sections 57 which run obliquely towards the upper plate 21.
  • grooves 45 are recessed in the web wall 50, which are assigned to each of the holes S, W, 9 to 3, the bottom 56 of the grooves 45 lying above the shoulder 53 and being somewhat rounded into the groove 45 ,
  • the angle at which the grooves 54 pass through the web wall 50 is adapted to the loft angle of the respective iron, which decreases from left to right in FIG. 6, that is to say from the sand wedge to the iron 3. Because of this inclination of the grooves 45, the irons arranged in their associated holes S, W, 3 to 9 are aligned with their heads next to one another and lie with their bearing surface essentially in one plane, the necks 19 (FIG.
  • 32 smaller holes 28 are provided in the area of the other side edge, which can serve to accommodate a handle.
  • ring grooves can be provided for receiving O-rings, which protrude somewhat into the inside of holes 35 to 40 to protect the club shafts.
  • Such rings are also provided at the top in the holes 41 and 42, the inner diameter being elastically deformable and allowing the golf ball to be pushed into the associated tubular ball rack 27.
