Abstract

The clamping profile (1), for a glass pane (2), has a leg (6) to support the laid pane and a clamp to secure it. The profile has two chambers, where one takes the inserted glass pane and the other has a clamp unit (12) with play. The dividing wall (8) between the chambers is thin, so that the clamping movement from one chamber is transferred to the glass pane in the other chamber to hold it in position. The profile and the clamp are of a light metal material.

Description

The invention relates to a clamping profile for a glass pane according to the preamble of claim 1. Such glass panes are in profiles that have a rigid contact angle for the glass and include a device for clamping the glass.

A clamping profile of the generic type is known from US 4,837,993. There, a metallic window frame is explained, in which a clamping profile is designed for fastening a disc. For this purpose, a groove is formed in the window frame, which tapers in the direction of the glass. Into the groove the glass pane is inserted. At the same time, the groove receives a clamping body, which can be brought via threaded screws in a clamping position to clamp the glass in the groove. The threaded screws act from below on the clamp body and are mounted in the window frame so that their screw heads lie in a channel provided in the window frame. However, the channel is provided in the direction away from the glass pane side in the window frame, so that the threaded screws are no longer accessible in the installed state of the window frame. Thus, the clamping of the glass can not be solved or only with great effort again when the glass has to be replaced.

Another clamping profile, in particular for a glass pane, can be found in DE 44 04 653 C2. In the execution of glass walls or glass doors, it is necessary to store them in a suitable manner, in particular structural tolerances must be compensated. Thus, DE 44 04 653 C2 shows a clamping profile with a clamping body on which a plant leg is integrally formed. Against this investment thigh puts on a glass. In addition, a movable, mounted on the clamp body clamping leg is present, which extends substantially parallel to the bearing leg and to this has a distance which is formed according to the thickness of the glass sheet. Thus, the clamping leg is mounted on the clamping body by means of a hinge element. By this type of clamping device with corresponding lever arms only small forces are applied to achieve a high clamping effect on the other hand. This results from the configuration that the hinge leg has a convex gap and a groove formed on the clamping leg, matching the rib. Due to this configuration of the hinge element, a clamping profile can be inexpensively manufactured, in particular in the case of extruded profiles, with sufficient precision. The aforementioned clamping profile is only suitable to be used as a surface-mounted profile.

In other known from the prior art procedures, the glass sheet is glued, for example, with profiles or the like, For this it is necessary to perform the bonding process carefully and with the utmost precision in order to avoid accidental release of the glass. However, this type of execution is very costly and involves a lot of sources of error, moreover, it is not everywhere to apply.

AS 11 00 918 is an enclosure of a glass door, which has a U-shaped profile to. Thus, between the two legs of the U-profile, a free space for inserting a glass pane is present, moreover, adjacent to the glass pane in the region between the two legs, a wedge element is arranged, which is relatively movable by means of a screw. As a result, a clamping of the glass pane is effected. In the design of this enclosure, it proves to be disadvantageous that a plurality of individual clamping elements must be present in order to clamp the glass sheet over a greater length, because only by the large number of individual wedge elements of the clamping operation can be done in a reliable manner. Furthermore, there is a disadvantage in that the uncontrollable friction conditions on the wedge surface do not allow exact application of a predetermined force. Furthermore, this U-profile is designed only for the surface area.

The object of the invention is to provide a so-called "in-wall" glass retaining profile, which can be installed within a wall area and moreover offers the possibility of receiving a glass pane interchangeable and adjustable.

This object is achieved by the features of claim 1. The dependent claims provide a further embodiment of the inventive concept again.

The embodiment of the inventive concept allows installation of a glass pane without problems, moreover, the glass pane is variable in its immersion depth, which at the same time offers a tolerance compensation. In addition, such a clamping profile without problems in the wall or floor area can be plastered, so that preferably only the opening of the chamber for the glass and the projection are visible. For better adjustment of the clamping profile, this may have in the continuation of the base leg molded projections in the form of tabs in which corresponding through holes are provided to such a clamping profile, z. B. to assemble on the raw wall. Subsequently, this clamping profile is plastered or tiled flush with the tile top. Are made such clamping profiles and also the clamping piece, preferably made of light metal.

It can also be used a clamping profile, which has two chambers, wherein in the first chamber, the glass dips and in the second chamber a clamping piece with a corresponding game Clamping device forms. The chambers are designed so that the chamber for the glass has an outer plant leg, which merges into a base leg. On the opposite side of the glass is an intermediate wall in the form of a thin projecting leg, which also extends from the base leg of itself. The second chamber, namely the chamber for receiving the clamping piece, has a clamping leg, which also extends from the base leg, but in contrast to the bearing leg and the intermediate wall extends at an acute angle to the base leg. Thus, a trapezoidal chamber, into which a clamping piece formed with the same cross-section can be inserted, is virtually created.

Since the clamping piece is provided with appropriate clearance, it can be pulled by screw elements which are in certain threaded holes, which are located within the clamping piece, on the one hand against the clamping leg and on the other hand against the intermediate wall. This can be done either by screw, which are held in a molded-on the clamping leg projection or press the other as a pressure screw against the leg and thus push away the clamping piece of the base leg.

According to an advantageous development, the clamping piece can be braced directly against the glass pane using an intermediate layer.

In the embodiment of Figure 1, a clamping profile 1 is reproduced, which is embedded within a concrete or screed covering 4. The upper visible conclusion forms a floor covering 3, which may for example consist of ceramic tiles. The connection between the floor covering 3 and the clamping profile 1 forms a seal 11. A glass pane 2, to which both surfaces intermediate layers 5 are arranged within the clamping profile 1, is inserted into the clamping profile 1. The intermediate layers 5 are doing on the one hand a plant leg 6 of the clamping profile 1 and held on the other side by an intermediate wall 8 or edged. Both the intermediate wall 8 and the plant leg 6 go into a base leg 7 of the clamping profiles 1 over. The base leg 7 ends opposite the abutment leg 6 in a clamping leg 10 which extends at an acute angle, ie at 90 ° to the base leg 7. The visible end of the clamping leg 10 terminates in an angled projection 9. Thus, on the one hand a chamber 22 for the glass pane 2 is present, wherein the chamber 22 is not closed on all sides and further comprises a chamber 30, which is substantially through a portion of the base leg 7, the intermediate wall 8, the clamping leg 10 and the projection 9 is formed (see in particular Figure 5). Within the projection 9 are at certain intervals over the length of the clamping profile 1 stepped holes 19 for receiving screw elements 15th

In the chamber 30, a clamping piece 12 is inserted, which has a trapezoidal cross-section. The clamping piece 12 has been reproduced in the figure 6 in a sectional view. It consists of a side surface 26 to which a base surface 28 connects at a right angle. On the other hand, on the side surface 26, a top 29 is also formed at right angles. The upper side 29 is substantially shorter in relation to the base surface 28, so that an inclined side surface 27 results between the upper side 29 and the base surface 28, which also extends at an acute angle to the base surface 28. The clamping piece 12 is dimensionally matched to the chamber 30 so that this fills with a game 13 and above the top 29 existing space 14. Within the clamping piece 12 are in the the same pitch as in the projection 9 threaded holes 16 introduced.

The screw 15 is thus introduced into the threaded bore 16 and causes at a rotation of the screw 5 right around, that the clamping piece 12 is brought against the clamping legs 10 and the intermediate wall 8. As a result, the free space 14 is simultaneously reduced. Characterized that the clamping leg 10 is made substantially stronger in cross section with respect to the intermediate wall 8, the tightening of the clamping piece 12 by the screw 15 causes a clamping of the glass 2. This is particularly apparent from Figure 3, where between the clamping piece 12 and the clamping leg 10 and the intermediate wall 8 no game 13 is more available.

In a second embodiment, a through bore 18 is introduced within the projection 9, which allows previously 16 to introduce pressure elements 17 in the form of grub screws within the clamping piece 12 in the threaded holes. Thus, for example, an Allen wrench or a screwdriver can grasp the head of the grub screw through the bore 18 and, by unscrewing the grub screw from the clamping piece 12 against the base leg 7, the clearance 13 and thus also the free space 14 above the clamping piece 12 are reduced, which ultimately increases jamming the clamping piece 12 between the clamping leg 10 and the intermediate wall 8 and thus for clamping the glass pane 2 leads.

In the embodiment of Figure 5, the possibility is created in extension of the base leg 7 on both sides of the clamping profile 1 been, by tabs 25, in which holes 24 are available to mount this clamping profile 1 on a solid surface.

In a further embodiment of Figure 7, omitting the intermediate wall 8, a further embodiment of a clamping piece 32 has been reproduced. Except for the non-existent intermediate wall 8 corresponds to this clamping profile 1 of the embodiment of Figure 1. On the clamping piece 32 is a plant side 33 is present, to which the intermediate layer 5 is preferably glued. By the actuation of the actuating element 15 thus the clamping of the glass sheet 2 is effected in that the clamping piece 32 is pulled with its oblique side against the clamping leg 10 and on the other hand receives the direct contact with the glass pane 2 via the intermediate layer 5.

This clamping profile 1 has in accordance with the figure 8, a chamber 31, with the plant leg 6, in which there is a recess 21 for the intermediate layer 5, with a projection 20 for protecting the intermediate layer 5, a base leg 7 and the already described embodiment of the clamping leg 10 with the projection 9 present thereon. Within the projection 9, the stepped bore 19, as in the exemplary embodiment of FIG. 1, is likewise contained.
