Claims (11)
- Verfahren zum Stranggießen von Brammen, insbesondere von Dünnbrammen, in einer Stranggießanlage mit einer Strangführung (20), umfassend unterhalb einer Kokille (1) im lichten Abstand einstellbare Strangführungssegmente (2.1 - 2.n) insbesondere mit Rollenpaaren (3, 3'), wobei zur Verminderung von Seigerungen und Kernporositäten der Gießstrang (4) im Bereich seiner Resterstarrung durch Anstellung der Strangführungssegmente in der Dicke reduziert wird (Soft-Reduction),
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Gießstrang (4) vor dem Bereich der Soft-Reduction-Strecke (III) durch entsprechende Maulweiten-Einstellung (W) der Segmente (2.1 bis 2.n) infolge des ferrostatischen Innendrucks mit einer gezielten Ausbauchung (5) versehen wird, und dass die Ausbauchung (5) in der Segmentführung der Soft-Reduction-Strecke ganz oder teilweise auf die Strangdicke zurückgedrückt wird, in der die Resterstarrung stattfindet. - Verfahren nach Anspruch 1,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Maulweite (W) mindestens eines Segments (2.1 bis 2.n) vor der Soft-Reduction-Strecke (III) auf ein Maß größer als die Austrittsdicke der Kokille (1) eingestellt wird. - Verfahren nach Anspruch 1 oder 2,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Gießstrang (4) vor dem Bereich der Soft-Reduction-Strecke (III) bei veränderlich einstellbarer Maulweite (W) der Segmente (2.1 bis 2.n) in wenigstens einem Segment (2.2) zuerst in einem Streckenbereich (IIa) mit sich verringernder Maulweite (-W) im kemflüssigen Bereich reduziert wird ("Liquid-Core-Reduction") und anschließend einen Streckenbereich (IIb) sich vergrößernder Maulweite (+W) durchläuft, und danach in weiteren Segmenten (2.3 bis 2.n) in eine bis zur Sumpfspitze reichende Soft-Reduction-Strecke (III) einmündet. - Verfahren nach Anspruch 3,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Maulweite (W) wenigstens eines Segments (2.1 bis 2.n) vor der Soft-Reduction-Strecke (III) auf ein größeres Maß eingestellt wird als die Strangdicke nach der Liquid Core Reduction Strecke. - Verfahren nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Maulweiteneinstellung der Segmente (2.1 bis 2.n) parallel oder konisch zu dem Gießstrang erfolgt. - Verfahren nach mindestens einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche 1 bis 5,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Maulweite (W) vor dem Bereich der Soft-Reduction (III) linear vergrößert wird. - Verfahren nach mindestens einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche 1 bis 6,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Maulweite (W) vor dem Bereich (III) der Soft-Reduction nicht-linear vergrößert wird. - Verfahren nach mindestens einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche 1 bis 7,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass bei der Herstellung von Dünnbrammen die Vergrößerung der Maulweite (+W) zwischen 1 und 8 mm eingestellt wird. - Verfahren nach mindestens einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche 1 bis 8,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass bei der Herstellung von Brammen eine Vergrößerung der Maulweite (+W) zwischen 3 und 20 mm eingestellt wird. - Verfahren nach mindestens einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche 1 bis 9,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Bereich vergrößerter Maulweite (+W) zwischen den Bereichen von Liquid-Core-Reduction (lla) und Soft-Reduction (III) angeordnet wird. - Verfahren nach mindestens einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche 1 bis 10,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Gießstrang (4) zuerst eine parallele Strecke (I) unterhalb der Kokille (1) in wenigstens einem ersten Segment (2.1) durchläuft und sich der Streckenbereich (II a) der Liquid-Core-Reduction und der Streckenbereich (III) der Soft-Reduction anschließen.
