- the tool is advantageously rotated around the cable. After the Cross section in the insulation jacket 16, 17 is attached, the tool is opened and removed from the cable. This process can be repeated if another Cross section in the cable is required.
- the tool is closed and by the the pressure exerted cuts the at least one cross-sectional knife 33 another cross section in the insulation jacket. After the further cross section in Insulation jacket is attached, the tool is opened and the cable away.
- a tongue 34 is optionally attached to the second tool end. The Tongue 34 enables a sorting of the main cable cores 15, respectively. Feeder cable wires 14th
- Branch cable 12 inserted into the tool.
- the Tool is opened and the main cable 2 resp.
- the first opening 30 is on the end face at the first tool end attached, a third opening 35 is made on the tool circumference.
- the Branch cable 12 extends through first opening 30 into the second passage and it extends through the third opening 35 out of the second passage.
- the Tool is closed.
- In the second pass there is a longitudinal cutting knife 31 attached for a longitudinal cut.
- Branch cable 12 via the longitudinal cutting knife 31, for example as a result Push the tool over the main cable 2 or pull out the Branch cable 12 from the second passage, the insulation jacket 16.17 of the Main cable 2 resp.
- the possibility of inserting an additional wire in parallel is advantageous Cable into the guides (brackets) of the basic housing to install.
- the further exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 7 shows in Contact housing 3 of the branch device inserted main cable wires 15 of two Main cables 2.
- Such a further cable can either be used to Extend an existing main cable, or it can be used as an additional second Main or branch cable can be used, which, as shown for example in Fig. 7, is led out through a hole in the side of the contact housing.
- the advantage of the proposed invention is the possibility of the branching device in the manufacture with different branch angles of the branch connector equip. These angles of departure can be selected between approximately parallel to Main cable up to perpendicular to the main cable.
- Another advantage of the proposed Invention is the freedom to choose different contacting technologies that ever can be applied according to market needs, such as self-tapping screws or screw connections, but preferably insulation displacement terminals. It is also advantageous the applicability of the proposed invention to different types of cables, preferably on the most frequently used round cables. Of course, the same applies here that the person skilled in the art with knowledge of the present invention manifold Can make variations of these exemplary designs.
