Abstract

Eine Kaminfeuerstelle (10) hat ein Gehäuse (20), welches eine Brennkammer (15), einen über dieser befindlichen Rauchfang (16) und einen Kaminanschluss (17, 18) bildet. Am oberen Ende des Rauchfangs ist eine schwenkbare Klappe (24) vorgesehen, die im geöffneten Zustand einen direkten Abzug der Rauchgase aus der Brennkammer (15) in den Kamin bewirkt, indessen bei geschlossener Klappe (24') die heissen Rauchgase durch einen Umlenkkanal (21, 22) geleitet werden. Dieser Umlenkkanal (21, 22) ist derart angeordnet, dass die Rauchgase von der geschlossenen Klappe (24') nach unten bis in den Bereich der Brennkammer (15) geführt sind, wobei der Umlenkkanal die Rückseite (15') der Brennkammer (15) und die Rückwand (23) des Gehäuses (20) bildet. Damit kann eine erhebliche Wirkungsgradsteigerung in bezug auf die Wärmeabgabe dieser Kaminfeuerstelle (10) erzielt werden.
