Definitions
- the invention relates to a carbon brush assembly or Schichtkohlebürstenhalteran extract according to the preambles of claims 1 and 2. Furthermore, the accuses Invention to a method for mounting a carbon brush guide in a carrier plate
- Carbon holder arrangements consist of a plastic carrier plate consist, on the particular brass existing quiver as carbon brush guide are attached. By choosing the material of the carbon brush guide is ensured that the carbon brushes exactly guided and thus on the desired extent flat on one Commutator or a slip ring rest.
- carbon brush assemblies are known that are made of plastic.
- the carbon brush guides can be made of plastic, to avoid that flow between the separated by the insulating coal seals cross flows.
- use of carbon fiber brushes made of plastic material have the disadvantage that they do not exactly match each other in their serving as a guide sections can be aligned so that it is not guaranteed that Kohleriegel in the required Cover area flat on a collector. Rather, it should be noted that at times only one of the layers touch the collector. This, however, changes the Wiring angle of a corresponding layer carbon brushes having engine.
- a carbon holder assembly according to the preamble of claim 1 is assigned to US 3,983,432 remove.
- the carbon brush guide consists of two U-shaped inserts that run along the Narrow sides of a carbon brush run and in a tubular plastic element are mounted, which in turn is mounted in a housing of an electric motor.
- EP 0 547 437 A2 relates to a brush guide assembly with a closed one in a housing consisting of electrically insulating material Quiver that has feathers.
- this has Carbon brush side on an insulating layer.
- the present invention is based on the problem, a coal holder assembly or Laminated carbon brush holder according to the preamble of claims 1 and 2 so educate that these are inexpensive to produce. At the same time, it should be ensured that the in the carbon brush guide axially displaceable carbon brush is sufficiently accurately out, so that the required contact is given to a collector or a slip ring. Furthermore, in the case of a laminated carbon brush holder, an abrasion-related short circuit should occur be excluded between coal bars.
- the carbon brush according to the invention consists of separate Guiding elements, which are aligned in such a way to be led to the carbon brush, that these is guided exactly in the axial direction.
- the carbon brush guide the carbon brush not completely surrounds a use for carbon steel brushes is possible because the Carbon brush is aligned on the guide elements such that an electrically conductive Connection of the carbon layers in the region of their Lijnsatwandung that of the insulating layer is interspersed, is omitted.
- the guide elements are identical are, in particular, two identical guide elements are provided which extend along wider side surfaces of the carbon brush, ie in the area in which the Insulating layer does not penetrate the outer surfaces.
- the carbon brush guide consists of two identical elements that are along the wider side surfaces symmetrical to the plane of symmetry of the carbon brush itself extends.
- each element as a half-shell with extending in a plane longitudinal edge strip and exist between these existing bulge. Furthermore, from the Longitudinal edge strips projecting projections such as -lappen, which in in the carrier plate properly arranged and aligned half-shells with the support plate connected as glued, latched or in particular can be caulked.
- a retention for a on the carbon brush acting spring element such as coil spring extending parallel to that of the Edge strip trained level, but offset away from the carbon brush runs.
- the Retention is especially designed as a bridge.
- a carbon brush guide forming portions along opposite Surfaces of the carbon brush and their edges at least partially comprehensive on average Be U-shaped guide elements whose respective transverse leg preferably an arcuate Has history to exercise the function of a so-called feather belly can.
- the carrier plate in the region of the insulating layer and in the longitudinal direction thereof extending has a slot or channel-shaped recess, there is the advantage that due to abrasion caused carbon brush dust can escape without the risk There is a short circuit between the carbon bars of the layered carbon brush due to dust deposition arises.
- an existing of electrically conductive material Connecting part may be provided as a plug, which leading to a carbon brush electrically conductive connection such as wire is connectable.
- the carbon brush guide itself should be made of brass-brass-laminate-aluminum-zinc consist.
- the invention is characterized by a method for mounting one of two half-shells existing carbon brush guide made of metal in a plastic existing From support plate, wherein the half shells in a correspondingly adapted recess of the Carrier plate introduced and aligned and calibrated and then with the Support plate are connected.
- the half shells with the carrier plate caulked.
- the half-shells should be aligned in such a way that they are in a measure x protrude above the support plate, in particular 2 mm ⁇ x ⁇ 4 mm.
- Fig. 1 is a schematic representation of a carbon holder 10 with a support plate 12 of a End shield of an electric motor shown. It goes from the support plate 12 a Carbon brush 14 off.
- a layer carbon brush the in turn consists of coal bars 16 and 18, which are interconnected via an insulating layer 20 are.
- the multilayer carbon brush 14 may also be more than two Kohleriegel 16, 18 have.
- the carbon brush 14 with their coal bars 16, 18 simultaneously and moderately on the Slats of a collector, not shown, can be supported to an unwanted change exclude the connection angle of the motor, the carbon brush 14 in a carbon brush guide 22 axially displaceable.
- the carbon brush guide 22 a structure or construction, which in addition to a precise axial guidance additional ensures that a short circuit between the layers 16, 18 of the carbon brush 14 in Area of their Lijnstrewandeptept 24, 26 is omitted. Also, there is little for the leadership Material required.
- the carbon brush guide 22 comprises two half-shells 28, 30, which are of identical design and along the transverse walls 32, 34, so wider side walls of the carbon brush 14 extend, so not along the longitudinal walls 24, 26, of the corresponding Longitudinal walls of the coal bars 16, 18, so their narrower longitudinal side surfaces and the formed between these extending insulating layer 20 and the free longitudinal side surfaces become.
- the half-shells 28, 30 are made of metal such. Brass-brass-laminate-aluminum-zinc, are therefore extremely dimensionally stable, whereby the desired exact axial guidance the carbon brush 14 is ensured. Since the half-shells 28, 30 but not along the Side walls 24, 26 extend from the free longitudinal side surfaces of the insulating layer With a cross-short circuit is excluded.
- the half-shells 28, 30 consist of edge-side longitudinal strips 36, 38 and 40, 42, between each of which has an outwardly bent portion 44, 46 extends.
- the sections 44, 46 together perform the function of a coil spring for coil springs, which on the Carbon brush 14 for pressurizing them in their longitudinal direction in the direction of not act represented collector.
- plastic material for the support plate 12 should be used, which is a high heat resistance, in particular up to 200 ° C.
- FIG. 2 in the same for the Fig. 1 elements are different from that of Fig. 1 in that four along the longitudinal edges 70, 72, 74, 76 of the carbon brush 14 extending and in the support plate 12 fixed metal angles 78, 80, 82, 84 are fixed as locked, which are the required ensure axial guidance of the carbon brush 14, while avoiding that a short circuit between the coal bars 16, 18 may occur. Also are located in the longitudinal edge region of the insulating layer 20 in the carrier plate 12 along the insulating layer 20 extending recesses 66, 68 for receiving abrasion of carbon brushes bar 16, 18.
- carbon brush guide 90 consists of two U-shaped Half shells 92, 94, which extend along the transverse walls 32, 34 and sections at least the longitudinal edges 70, 72, 74, 76 of the carbon brush 14 surround.
- the transverse wall 32, 34, the half-shells 92, 94 bulges 96, 98 according to the embodiment of FIG. 1 have.
- a spring brake be provided.
