Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé simplifié et dont le coût est réduit permettant de produire des douilles de contact pour connecteurs enfichables électriques qui sont constitués d'au moins un corps de manchon stable et d'au moins une pluralité de moyens de contact venant en contact selon une ligne ou selon une bande avec une tige de contact, tels que des fils de contact ou des bandes de contact, et dans lesquelles les fils de contact ou les bandes de contact sont orientés selon une torsion autour de l'axe de douille. Le corps de manchon stable est constitué d'une tôle et les moyens de contact sont chacun reliés, à leurs deux extrémités, à ladite tôle. Ledit procédé est mis en oeuvre en plusieurs opérations séparées mais se faisant parallèlement, à savoir: (a) une bande continue de tôle est pourvue, en tant que matériau support, d'une partie bombée ou d'une déformation comparable centrale longitudinale et transversale par rapport à son plan; (b) une série de bandes de contact est produite simultanément à partir d'un autre matériau en bande; (c) les moyens de contact sont reliés à la tôle formant le corps de manchon stable; et (d) des sections, correspondant à la surface latérale d'une douille de la bande d'un semi-fini continue équipée des moyens de contact, sont coupées à la longueur et roulées pour former une douille. Ce procédé est simplifié et rendu meilleur marché par le fait que l'on découpe les moyens de contact, les fils de contact ou les bandes de contact en laissant des bandes marginales garantissant un espacement, dans un matériau en bande présentant une largeur dépassant la largeur du matériau en bande utilisé pour la production du corps de manchon stable, et qu'on les relie au matériau en bande formant le corps de manchon stable, ce dernier matériau en bande présentant une déformation orientée transversalement par rapport à son plan.
