Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé pour coder des encombrements affectant plusieurs voies de circulation, dans le cas d'informations routières codées numériquement qui contiennent, sous la forme d'éléments, un emplacement situé sur une voie de circulation, ainsi que l'ampleur et la direction de l'encombrement. Ces informations sont décodées au moyen d'un tableau d'emplacements. Selon le procédé de l'invention, lors de l'annonce d'encombrements s'étendant, en raison de leur ampleur, au-delà d'un embranchement, sur une autre voie de circulation, un autre élément est utilisé pour coder les informations suivantes : embranchements affectés par l'encombrement, direction et ampleur de l'encombrement.
