Claims (5)
- 所定の場所に設置され、走行路について自車位置検出可能な通信型ナビゲーションシステムを装着した車両のそれぞれからプローブデータとして送信される走行データの現況値から得られる現況渋滞度と前記走行データの過去一定期間の統計値から得られる統計渋滞度とからなると共に、前記走行データ中の走行速度に従ってそれぞれ複数段階の区分に分別されてなる渋滞度についての渋滞度情報を含む交通障害情報を地図データに基づいて前記車両のそれぞれが走行する走行路を規定するリンクごとに作成する交通障害情報作成サーバと、
前記交通障害情報作成サーバに接続される交通障害リスク表示コンピュータと、
を備え、前記交通障害リスク表示コンピュータは、前記車両のそれぞれに装着されるナビゲーションシステムに組み込まれると共に、
前記複数段階の区分に分別されてなる渋滞度情報を前記渋滞度が増加するにつれて減少するように設定される数値で示すと共に、前記示された数値に応じて設定される色彩で着色しつつ、前記車両のそれぞれが走行する走行路を規定するリンクを含むメッシュ地図上に前記渋滞度情報を描画する交通情報メッシュ化部と、
前記交通情報メッシュ化部で示される渋滞度情報の数値に基づいて前記車両のそれぞれが走行する走行路について渋滞による交通障害が発生する可能性を示す交通障害発生リスクの予測値を算出して表示する交通障害リスク表示部と、
を備えることを特徴とする交通障害リスク表示装置。 - 交通情報メッシュ化部は、前記車両のそれぞれが走行する走行路を規定するリンクについて前記渋滞度情報の数値が同一リンクについて重複するとき、前記渋滞度情報の数値が小さい方に対応する色彩で上書きすることを特徴とする請求項1記載の交通障害リスク表示装置。
- 前記交通障害情報作成サーバは前記車両のそれぞれが走行する走行路を規定するリンクごとに前記渋滞度情報を作成すると共に、前記交通障害リスク表示部は、前記交通情報メッシュ化部で示された渋滞度情報の数値に基づいて前記交通障害発生リスクの予測値を算出して表示することを特徴とする請求項1または2記載の交通障害リスク表示装置。
- 前記交通情報メッシュ化部は、前記渋滞度の数値が所定度合い以上の区分について前記数値に応じて設定される色彩での着色を中止することを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の交通障害リスク表示装置。
- 前記交通障害情報作成サーバは、前記渋滞度情報を所定のエリアごとに作成することを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれかに記載の交通障害リスク表示装置。
