Definitions
- the invention relates to a connecting element for connecting expansion panels with an insulating layer arranged between two cover layers of the expansion panel for interior construction, especially on board ships. Furthermore, the Invention with a connection arrangement for expansion panels for interior such fasteners.
- Expansion boards of the aforementioned type are sold by the applicant under the brand LOLAMAT® sold and are disclosed in WO 97/21 884.
- the expansion panels have two outer layers of fiber-reinforced plastic, between which an insulating layer of mineral wool is arranged. Cover layers and insulation layer are glued together.
- the fibers of the Mineral wool directed transversely to the level of the expansion panel. The individual fibers are thus glued with their end faces to the cover layers. This results in a high compressive strength of the expansion plate.
- T-shaped and H-shaped connecting elements become known in the form of one-piece profiles. These profiles engage in one or two grooves in the abutting edges of adjacent expansion panels.
- the H-shaped Fastener has the disadvantage that the Extension panels with mineral wool fibers oriented transversely to the level of the extension panel can hardly be used. The between the free legs of the H arranged mineral wool fibers no longer have a connection to one of the two top layers. They can be broken out easily. The Connection is unstable overall. The connection with the T-shaped profiles is also comparatively unstable because the neighboring plates do not have sufficient guidance get against each other. As a result, dirty edges are often formed between the adjacent expansion panels, so that it is common practice that Filling over joint edges. After all, none of these profiles Corner connections can be realized.
- expansion panels with a groove and To connect the spring connection with each other. This can also be used across Mineral wool fibers arranged on the expansion board level do not occur, since the Spring does not offer sufficient strength. It is therefore also known that Butt edges of the expansion panels with, for example, a wooden intermediate layer be milled into the tongue and groove or a groove on both sides milled and a separate spring is used.
- the invention is based on the problem of a Connecting element and a connection arrangement for expansion panels create, through which arbitrarily configured stable connections can be realized leave without the need for rework.
- connection profile according to the invention is used to solve this problem characterized by interconnected connection profiles, which approximately Are U-shaped and each have a connecting profile one of the is assigned to be connected to each other, one leg of the Connection profile rests on an inner surface of the associated expansion panel and the other leg engages in a groove in the associated expansion panel.
- the Connection arrangement according to the invention for expansion panels with such Connection profiles is characterized in that a groove in the insulating layer is milled in such a way that the groove on the one hand through a cover layer and on the other hand is limited by the insulating layer, and the other top layer in Area of the plant of the other leg to form a contact surface easily is milled off.
- the connecting element according to the invention results in a stable Connection of two adjacent expansion panels.
- the special design of the Connecting elements from two interconnected connecting profiles also allows corner joints to be realized. 90 ° connections can be easily realize, while other corner angles easily can be realized by using two connection profiles, for example via Connecting wedges to be connected together. Due to the stability of the Connection of two adjacent expansion panels is a reworking of the butt edges not necessary anymore. In particular by the invention Connection arrangement results in an aligned surface from the Removal panels made partition or path. In the field of The connection is precise due to the machining of the cover layers defined thickness of the front (visible) cover layer and the expansion panel guaranteed overall in the connection area.
- the connecting profile and the associated expansion panel are preferred non-positively connected.
- the partition or path can be so can be easily put together.
- the positive connection can be done by gently bending the on the inner surface of the expansion panel adjacent leg and / or by an interference fit of the groove in the Insulating layer can be reached with the leg engaging in it.
- Both measures are planned next to each other.
- the leg engaging in the groove is on its free end bent by about 180 °.
- this Leg to the outer (visible) top layer results when this leg is bent inwards towards the insulating layer.
- a clamping effect in the groove leaves Realize by slightly spreading the leg so that it is elastic is resiliently bent when it engages in the groove.
- connection profiles are according to a constructive embodiment of the invention equally trained. In this way, only one type of connection profile is required to be kept available for the respective application in the be connected in a suitable manner.
- Fig. 1 shows a connection arrangement for two expansion panels 10 together, at of the two expansion panels 10 connected together to form a 90 ° corner become.
- Fig. 3 shows an analog connection arrangement for the Connection plates 10, in which the two to be connected to each other Expansion panels 10 are aligned.
- the expansion panels 10 themselves have one outer cover layer 11 and an inner cover layer 12.
- the outer Cover layer 11 faces a room or aisle and thus for one Viewers visible, while the inner cover layer 12 is not visible.
- the corner connection shown in FIG. 1 is replaced by the one in FIG. 2 drawn connecting element 14 realized.
- the connecting element 14 is made of two twisted, but identically formed Connection profiles 15 formed. Each connection profile is approximately U-shaped educated. It has an outer, on the inside of the outer, visible Cover layer 11 adjacent leg 16 and an inner, on the back of the inner cover layer 12 adjacent leg 17.
- the two legs 16, 17 are connected to one another by a base web 18.
- the inner leg 17 also has at its free end the insertion of the expansion plates 10 relief edging 19 on.
- the upstand 19 is easier Insert the expansion plate 10 away from the inner cover layer 12.
- the outer leg 16 is about 180 ° to form a back bend 20th bent over. Specifically, the back bend 20 is inward in the present case Insulating layer 13 bent over.
- the back edge 20 is not, as shown, on the leg 16, but is spaced from this.
- the bending radius for the Back bend is approximately one to three times the sheet thickness. One is concrete Bending radius of 2mm provided.
- Two connecting profiles 15 are used to produce the connecting element 14 connected with each other. Specifically, the base web of one connecting profile 15 with the inner leg 17 of the other connecting profile 15, for example connected by screwing, riveting, soldering, welding or gluing. It should care should be taken to ensure that the outer web 16 of the first connecting profile 15 and the base web 18 of the other connecting profile 15 are aligned with one another.
- the outer, visible cover layers 11 are milled to miter, the cover layer 11 of the lower in FIG. 1, horizontally shown expansion plate 10 is formed with a protrusion 23, the base web 18 of the connecting profile 15 for the other expansion panel 10 overhanging. Prepared in this way, the expansion panels 10 can be assigned to them Connection profile 15 are inserted, the outer leg 16 in the Groove 21 engages and the inner leg 17 for contact with the contact surface 22nd is coming.
- the expansion panels 10 are non-positively through the connecting profiles 15 held.
- the outer leg 16 with its rear edge 20 press fit to groove 21.
- the back bend 20 is when inserted into the groove 21 slightly elastic bent towards the outer leg 16 and thus ensures that Press fit.
- the inner leg 17 is slightly inward to the outer Leg 16 bent out so that the also when inserting the Expansion plate 10 is pressed elastically outwards and so for clamping worries.
- connection profiles 15 need each other only at their base webs 18 to be connected.
- FIG. 3 Such a connection arrangement is shown in FIG. 3 shown.
- the associated connecting element 14 ' which is an additional Modification to the connecting element 14 according to FIG. 2 is in FIG. 4 drawn out.
- the back bend 20 'on the outer leg 16 is namely in the present case directed outwards, away from the insulating layer 13. Otherwise, the connecting profiles 15 and 15 'are identical, so that Identical parts are identified with the same reference numbers.
- the expansion panels 10 are prepared analogously to the case shown in Fig. 1 and are analogously in the Connecting element 14 'or in their respective associated connecting profile 15' plugged in.
- connection profiles 15, 15 'shown can be easily Connecting elements 14, 14 'for 90 ° corners and flat, flush Form connection arrangements.
- intermediate wedges for Connecting two connecting profiles 15 and 15 'to each other can also corner angles other than 90 ° are generated.
- FIG. 1 An “outside corner” is also shown in FIG. 1. "Inner corners” are common not created using fasteners since here Dimensional inaccuracies on the ship are compensated. But it is also conceivable with the inventive profiles 15 and 15 'connecting elements for Compile "inner corners", then the base web 18 of one Connection profile 15, 15 'with a separate, additional connection tab the inner leg 17 of the other connecting profile 15, 15 'is connected. You can think of this as one of the two 1, 2 can be folded down by 180 ° and these two connecting profiles 15 then through the connecting tab together get connected.
- connection profiles 15, 15 'can thus Connection arrangements at any angle for two expansion panels 10 shape.
