Definitions
- control cabinets there is the problem of having to connect the components installed in the control cabinet to electrical lines outside the control cabinet, that is to say to connect the “interior” of the control cabinet to its “outside world”.
- a particular problem in this connection is the need for housings, in particular switch cabinet housings, to be designed in accordance with the IEC 529 standard so that moisture and / or foreign bodies cannot penetrate in order to prevent damage to the components accommodated in the switch cabinet.
- the degree of protection IP 54 contained in the aforementioned standard places particularly high demands .
- the plate with the coupling elements is only an interruption, in order to be able to lead the external lines into the interior of the device. It is therefore necessary, further electrical or electronic functional parts in the control cabinet to be provided to the cables with the components arranged in the control cabinet to connect both in terms of line and function.
- a cable connector junction box which at its Has a socket for a plug on the outside.
- the socket is reached a flat design arranged on an intermediate board, which in turn is oriented perpendicular to a motherboard, so that the direction of insertion of the connector extends perpendicular to the motherboard.
- individual contact plates are provided, on the respective the outgoing lines are connected individually.
- a distribution cabinet can be found in EP 0 663 782 A1 for connection of an external network to an internal network is designed for this purpose so-called patch distributor, which is pivotally held in the distribution cabinet is.
- the lines of both the internal and the external network are on the rear of the marshalling panel is brought up to modules equipped with sockets, with the individual lines of the external network on the front those of the internal network.
- the object of the invention is to achieve this based on designing a bushing adapter for a control cabinet so that the external lines are easy to connect, the moisture and / or foreign body tightness is guaranteed in accordance with protection class IP 54 according to IEC 529 and the Function of the adapter is improved.
- This object is achieved with the present invention solved in a simple and inventive way.
- the invention is based on those provided for connection to the control cabinet Attach the ends of the external cables, which are simply plugged into a complementary socket connector can be plugged into the control cabinet.
- the socket strip is simple arranged on the outside of a housing wall of the control cabinet housing.
- the sockets are then arranged, into which the plugs can be inserted Training of a plug coupling.
- the rear of the adapter is also designed to connect the inside of the shadow cabinet housed components to the adapter.
- This means of Connection of the components housed in the control cabinet include immediate electrical or electronic functional parts positioned on the back of the adapter in the form of connecting elements for those arranged in the interior of the control cabinet Components.
- the connecting elements have different designs Connectors for the components.
- the connectors are as system connectors such as trapezoidal connectors, flat cable connectors or Rast 5 connectors educated.
- the connectors are preferably compatible with the plug connections provided on the components. So it's both the external cables as well as the "interior" of the control cabinet via plug connections easy to connect.
- a 1: 1 connector compared to the prior art not a 1: 1 connector, but any number and type of input connectors is of any number and type as well different output connectors can be combined.
- the invention in an advantageous manner, different electrical or to provide electronic components directly on the adapter, for example Signal converters, display devices or separators. Particularly advantageous it is, near the control cabinet housing and thus near the plugs fuse elements, For example, install overcurrent protection switches or other fuses to be able to.
- the power supply unit for supplying power to the control cabinet can also be used be arranged on the back of the bushing adapter. For example, solve an overcurrent protection switch or an error occurs on the power supply by removing the adapter from the housing wall, the damage was immediately rectified without having to open the control cabinet itself.
- Another advantage is that from the outside with pre-assembled plugs to be able to contact the control cabinet and at the same time on the back of the Implementation adapter a quasi individual functional design of the To be able to provide bushing adapters. So it can be done with the same basic adapter model a multitude of applications, technically simple and inexpensive be solved.
- Another advantage of the invention is that the external components are already pre-assembled Attach cables to an already pre-assembled control cabinet to be able to do this without having to open the control cabinet. Nor is it necessary to connect the external cables to the switch cabinet's "interior”, that is, the components housed in the control cabinet and their structure and to know how they work together. The speed, which is also advantageous enables the inventive plug-in assembly of the external lines.
- the sockets can be attached directly to the front panel.
- This embodiment enables it continues to use commercially available, pre-made bushings and arrange them in the direction of insertion behind the openings in the front panel.
- the sockets and the breakthroughs are then aligned with each other so that the plug through the Breakthroughs are inserted into the sockets.
- This is particularly advantageous Use of so-called "Rast-5 sockets” and appropriately trained “Rast 5 connector”.
- the switch cabinet side attached in the adapter Sockets from a socket housing and several according to the so-called "Rast-5 plug pattern" juxtaposed contact tabs.
- plug housing In the complementary to Socket housing designed plug housing are complementary to the contact tabs trained contact shoes designed so that each time the plug is inserted a contact shoe is slid onto a contact lug and thus a special lead It is of course advantageous to equip the circuit board with plug connections, which are compatible with those usually used on the respective actuator or sensor provided plug connections. This embodiment is the subject of the claim 6.
- the connector housings must complete the coding to complement the recesses Ribs or projections may be provided. It is evident that the lead or rib pattern complementary to the recess pattern of the connector assigned recess must be formed. This way is simple Effectively prevents a plug from going through a recess into one Socket contact is inserted, to which it should not be connected.
- the Mechanical coding can also be supplemented by to make installation easier a color coding. This is easily possible by making each breakthrough a separate one Color is assigned.
- the adapter then has a colorful front panel with different colors Breakthroughs. To complete the color coding are the appropriate ones Connector painted in the same color. Finally, it is possible to use the front panel To be designed so that text fields are provided in addition to the openings.
- On Information of any kind can be printed on these writing fields, for example also symbols that are repeated on the assigned plugs and create another separate assignment option.
- the mechanical coding claimed in claim 9 as well as the aforementioned Color coding on the one hand and / or symbol coding on the other hand each separately can be present. So it is not necessary to use several types of coding with each other to combine.
- the mechanical coding claimed in claim 9 a very simple and secure forced coding because of incorrect insertion is impossible. With mechanical coding, it is not possible to insert a plug in insert a socket contact, which lies behind a recess to which the plug is not supposed to be connected.
