- the invention relates to a device for thread sealing continuously conveyed paper, cardboard or the like with a rotating thread disc attached to her Circumferential surface equally spaced receiving sections for accordingly cut and positioned pieces of thread one Seal thread and the thread pieces assigned in pairs has provided piercing openings, with in the thread disc provided, one pair of piercing holes each assigned pairs of needles that are used to pierce the Stitched goods and to form a thread clip from each thread piece are movable radially and clock-controlled, with one of the Thread clamp formation site associated, in the circumferential direction the thread disc on that facing away from the thread disc Side of the magazine extending device for receiving the Puncture forces, with one in the direction of rotation of the thread disc the thread clamp formation subordinate and the scope the thread disc adapted sealing device and with transport organs for holding and transporting the staple the peripheral surface of the thread disk from a feed device for the stapled material up to a discharge device for it.
- Rotary stapling is done with the staple feed
- a feed roller assigned to the circumference of the thread disk which forms a wedge with the thread disc which the grippers take over the front edge of the stapled material
- the thread-sealed booklet with grippers takes over from the thread disc and transported away.
- the sealing bar is in the circumferential direction of the thread disc divided in two, the distance from the peripheral surface of the thread disc is adjustable.
- DE 22 11 171 C2 describes a device for thread sealing of continuously conveyed material in the form of folded sheets, where the material to be stitched is on a level between two Plate chains is guided, the thread pieces on the inlet side applied clock-controlled, then in a needle station through circumferential pairs of needles through the material to be stitched Formation of the thread clip stung and then in the direction of the tack be fixed with the help of a sealing bar.
- the feeder is preceded by a pre-piercing device, which consists of a roller with pre-technology needle pairs, with a counter roller on the other side of the staple Piercing is assigned.
- the object underlying the invention is that To design the device of the type mentioned so that a sheet transport that does not impair the staple the device is guaranteed and with a robust design and low space requirements also allow for easy processing of tactlessly folded booklet regardless of its format, Fold type and paper is guaranteed.
- This task is based on the device of the beginning mentioned type in that the transport members two Belt guide drums, one against each Face of the thread disc coaxial and at a distance from it is arranged, corresponding to the diameter of the thread disc Has diameter and with the same peripheral speed how the thread disc is rotatable, and two conveyor belts has, each of which a tape guide drum is assigned and the endless around pulleys guided and driven so that they start from one the feeder for the material to be tacked and with the Thread disk formed wedge up to the discharge device the tape guide drums over an angle of Wrap around 120 to 240 ° and the material to be bound between yourself and the Belt guide drums transport without slippage that the Device for absorbing the pressure forces from a puncture hole straps or two between them a puncture gap-free belt is formed which or running endlessly around leadership roles, one of which is driven synchronously with the thread disc, the piercing openings in the thread disc and on the belt side the piercing openings or the puncture gap, and that the Feed device for the staple
- the stapled material synchronized to the work cycle of the thread disc kept slip-free between the conveyor belts and the tape guide drums through the work stations of the device to lead, being in the area of stitching there is a sufficient abutment in each case.
- the clamping force between the conveyor belts and the belt guide drums is so high that the position of the magazine not changed even during the piercing.
- the distance between the tape guide drums corresponds to the smallest processing format size of the booklet. For larger formats can use additional tape guide drums at an axial distance Conveyor belts are arranged. Because the thread sealing disc approximately the same diameter and the same peripheral speed like the two tape guide drums, the material to be stitched is at rest with respect to the thread disc. In the direction of rotation of the thread disc, the sealing bar can still a thread end control working with an optical sensor be preceded.
- the clock device a guide element and three clock rollers, one of which fixed and the other two at an angle around the fixed clock roller placed and with respect to the respective conveyor gap are adjustable, the fixed clock roller and one adjustable stored clock roller an inlet side facing the sensor Form conveyor gap for the stapled goods while related to the direction of the staple in subordination to the guide element fixed clock roller and the other adjustable stored clock roller a delivery-side facing the receiving wedge Form conveyor gap for the material to be handled, and the Sensor detects the leading edge of the stapled material and from its control device the detected position of the leading edge of the stitched material with the position of the associated thread receiving section compared on the thread disc and dependent from a determined difference in all three clock rollers common drive to accelerate the staple to Compensation of this difference is activated for a correspondingly long time, when the stitched material is covered by the entire clock device.
- the stapling material fed to the device is in front of the clocking device on the side of an alignment and feed table aligned in a known manner. After handing over the so aligned Stitched goods to the clocking device will refer to the stitched goods synchronized the bracket stroke of the thread disc, so that despite the clock-free mode of operation of an upstream Folding machine always adjustable the thread clips in the staple have the same distance from sheet to head from sheet to sheet.
- the clocking by the clock device is based on the selected roller arrangement simultaneously to change direction of the stitched goods with the same clamping of the stitched goods, which high clock accuracy despite changing direction at low Space requirement results.
- the Thread disc after the receiving wedge and before the thread clip formation point a piercing disc with radially movable Vortechnadadelplane arranged for a clock-controlled Pricking the stitched material to the piercing openings in the belt or the puncture gap between the belt and aligned with the piercing openings in the thread disc are aligned.
- the expedient is expedient Belt A timing belt that has teeth on the outer circumference of the Combustion disc combs for their rotary drive. Analog can two endless toothed belts with a piercing gap come.
- the distance between the circumference of the piercing disc and the The circumference of the thread disc is to adapt to the thickness of the material to be stitched adjustable by adjusting the piercing disc, expediently the whole, from the spike disc to the guide rollers and the toothed belt or toothed belt formed Pricking device pivotable about a fixed point and can be arranged fixable. If the clock control of the Needle pairs of the piercing device via an eccentric in the Inside the piercing disc can be done by turning of the eccentric set the penetration depth of the pre-technology needle pairs.
- each sealing bar part has the thread disk on it facing side approximately the same curvature as the thread disk.
- Each sealing bar part has its own Heating cartridge, the temperature of which is individually adjustable is. Storage of the sealing bar parts is one-sided where the sealing bar parts with one abut a constant distance. With this arrangement the sealing bar parts expand when exposed to temperature towards the side facing away from the storage location. This leaves the gap between the sealing bar parts always almost constant and the curvature of the sealing bars remains the same over the entire temperature range. Thereby, that the distance between the thread disc always remains the same optimal sealing guaranteed.
- the sealing bar parts are expediently adjustable jointly to the thread disc executed.
- the device for thread sealing shown schematically in FIG. 1 of continuously conveyed paper, cardboard or the like has a thread disc 2, the direction of view onto the thread disc, i.e. a tape guide drum on each end 3 is upstream and downstream, whereby due to Partial section of the thread disk 2 in Fig. 1 is a part of the subordinate Tape guide drum 3 can be seen.
- the two tape guide drums 3 and the one in between Thread disc 2 sit on one and the same shaft 1 and rotate with this at the same peripheral speed, because the outer diameter of the tape guide drums 3 and the thread disc 2 are essentially the same.
- the axial distance between each tape guide drum 3 and the thread disk 2 corresponds to the minimum format of the material to be processed, with larger formats in larger axial distances of the thread disc 2 on the shaft 1 further tape guide drums 3 can be arranged. It is also possible for everyone End face of the thread disk 2 associated tape guide drums 3 axially adjustable and fixable on the shaft 1 to arrange.
- a conveyor belt 12 is assigned to each belt guide drum 3, which is guided over pulleys 17, 17 'and 21 so that it the associated tape guide drum 3 between a receiving wedge 33 for the material to be tacked and a discharge device which from a transport roller 19 assigned to the deflection roller 17 and a pair of transport rollers 20 is formed on one Loops around an angle of about 180 °.
