Definitions
- the invention relates to a screw cleaner for a auger of a drilling device for earth bores, which is mounted on a mast of the drilling device and has a cleaning member for engaging in a spiral space of the auger.
- US 3,968,846 describes a screw cleaner for removing drilling material from the spiral space of a screw auger of a drilling device for earth bores.
- the screw cleaner has a wheel with radially protruding finger-shaped areas which successively engage in the spiral space between the auger and remove drilling material.
- the wheel is mounted next to the auger and rotates around an axis that is perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the auger. Rotation and feed movement of the auger causes the wheel to rotate, so that the finger-shaped areas engage one after the other in the spiral space between the auger.
- the invention has for its object to provide a screw cleaner of the type mentioned, which is simple to use with a simple structure and at the same time offers reliable and improved cleaning.
- the cleaning member is rotatably mounted on a cleaning member holder of the screw cleaner and is rotated in its cleaning engagement by the driven auger around its bearing axis, and that the cleaning member holder is mounted on a mast guide mounted on the mast is pivotally mounted and can be pivoted in and out of the spiral space by a drive device for pivoting the cleaning member in and out.
- the cleaning element is thus always rotated by the auger around its axis of rotation into the correct position, in which the largest possible cross-sectional area of the spiral space is covered for cleaning and removing stuck earth material.
- the driving in and out of the screw cleaner by means of a drive device is a significant simplification of operation in a rough working environment on a construction site.
- At least one second cleaning member is attached to the cleaning member holder in an arrangement connected in series and adapted to the auger, which further improves the cleaning result.
- the first cleaning member serves as a pre-cutter for stuck material and the second cleaning member serves as a clearer.
- each cleaning member is rotatably mounted on its own bearing axis on the cleaning member holder.
- the second cleaning member on the cleaning member holder can also be arranged offset to the first cleaning member. It is advantageous if at least one of the cleaning members is arranged to be adjustable on the cleaning member holder.
- a longitudinal adjustment of one of the cleaning members, in particular along the cleaning member holder can be carried out. It is expedient that a longitudinal adjustment can be carried out by moving the bearing axis of one of the cleaning members on the cleaning member holder into one of several transverse bores formed along the holder.
- the operation of the screw cleaner is considerably easier if the drive device can be operated remotely, in particular from a driver's cab of the drilling rig.
- the drive device has a hydraulic piston-cylinder drive which connects the cleaning member holder of the screw cleaner and the mast guide to one another.
- the mast guide is slidably mounted on the mast.
- the at least one cleaning member has a disk-shaped engagement area which is in sliding contact on its outer circumference with at least one of the two screw blades delimiting the space between the helix. With a corresponding design, this can completely cover the spiral gap and can be guided by the two screw blades delimiting the spiral gap taking into account a play.
- the disk-shaped cleaning member expediently contains at least two cleaning sheets with a rounded outer circumference, and in particular the disk-shaped cleaning member is formed in a cloverleaf shape with four cleaning sheets.
- the engagement of the second cleaning member in the auger is optimized when it is at a certain angle is pivoted with respect to the drill axis to the first cleaning member so that the planes of rotation of the two cleaning members intersect on the side of the cleaning member holder facing the auger, in particular in a parallel to the drill axis.
- the swivel-in path of the auger cleaner can be easily adapted for different augers with different drill core diameters.
- a drilling tool 1 of a drilling device for producing pile bores and the like in a building ground contains a cylindrical drill core 2 or core tube with a helically rotating auger 3 (see FIG. 1).
- a screw cleaner 4 is attached and mounted on a mast (not shown) carrying the drilling tool 1 by means of a mast guide 5.
- the screw cleaner 4 contains a first and a second disk-shaped cleaning member 6 and 7 for engaging in a spiral space 8 between two adjacent screw blades 9 and 10 of the auger 3.
- the two cleaning members 6 and 7 have four identical cleaning blades 11 and 12, one have rounded outer circumference 13 and 14 and each by one from the outer circumference 13 and 14 forth recess 15 and 16 are separated.
- the two cleaning members 6 and 7 are rotatably supported on bearing axles 17 and 18 (see FIGS. 2 and 3) of a cleaning member holder 19 by roller bearings.
- the bearing axis 17 of the first cleaning member 6 is fixedly mounted in the holder 19 in a first bore 20.
- the cleaning member holder 19 contains z. B. four further bores 21, in which the bearing axis 18 of the second cleaning member 7 optionally used and z. B. can be fixed by means of a screw flange connection 22.
- the bearing axis 18 of the second cleaning member 7 is angled towards the auger 3 (see FIG.
- the cleaning member holder 19 is fastened to the mast guide 5 on a bolt 23 so as to be pivotable about a pivot axis 24 (see FIGS. 1 and 3).
- a hydraulic piston-cylinder unit 25 is connected on the one hand to a joint 26 on the mast guide 5 and on the other hand via a joint 27 to a lateral extension 28 of the holder 19 and can pivot the holder 19 and thus the cleaning members 6 by extending or retracting its piston rod 29 , 7 and move into and out of the spiral space 8.
- the piston-cylinder unit 25 is actuated e.g. B. by remote control from a cab of the drill.
- the hydraulic piston-cylinder unit 25 is actuated so that its extending piston rod 29 pivots the holder 19 from a disengaged position (not shown) into the engagement position shown, the cleaning members 6, 7 engaging in the auger 3. Since the cleaning members 6, 7 are freely rotatable, a respective cleaning sheet 11 or 12 of the two cleaning members 6, 7 will always turn into the spiral space 8 between the two adjacent screw blades 9 and 10, which in turn engage in the recesses 15, 16 can and can roll or slide on the side edges 30 of the recesses 15, 16 and on the outer circumference 13 or 14.
- the individual cleaning blades 11 and 12 of the rotating cleaning members 6, 7 roll with their outer circumferences 13 and 14 and the Side edges 30 of the recesses 15 on the screw blades 11 and 12 and remove the soil material stuck in the auger 3.
- the first cleaning member 6 serves as a pre-cutter and the second cleaning member 7 as a re-cleaner.
- the two cleaning elements 6 and 7 ensure that at least one cleaning blade 11 and 12 of the cleaning elements 6 and 7 always fills the predominant cross-sectional portion of the spiral space 8 for removing soil material stuck therein when the auger 3 is rotated, so that cleaning that is as complete as possible is achieved becomes.
- the screw cleaner 4 is pivoted out of the auger 3 again by the hydraulic piston-cylinder unit 25.
- an adjustable end stop 31 can be provided for the hydraulic piston-cylinder unit 25 in order to be able to adapt the pivoting path to different diameters of the drill core 2 in the case of differently designed drilling tools 1.
- the planes of rotation of the cleaning members 6, 7 expediently do not run through the drill axis 32, but they can be offset from the direction of rotation (see FIG. 2), so that the disk-shaped cleaning members 6, 7 are arranged at a shallower angle to the drill core 2 and thus can better scrape the soil material out of the spiral space 8 via its engaging surfaces 33 and 34 and lead it out (the discharge path is shown schematically in FIG. 2 by arrows A and B for the first and second cleaning members 6 and 7, respectively).
- At least one further cleaning element for example an upstream tearing tool with protruding rods, can be attached to the screw cleaner 4.
- solidified soil material can be torn open and loosened.
- the disk-shaped cleaning members 6, 7 can be fastened to a bearing flange 35 of the bearing axes 17 and 18 with screws and can thus be quickly replaced.
