Definitions

  • the invention relates to an assembly / disassembly device for assembling and / or disassembling a fuel injection valve, in particular a high-pressure direct injection valve, into / from a receiving bore in a cylinder head of an internal combustion engine.

It is also disadvantageous that the dismantling device must be attached to the fuel injector before assembly and that subsequent attachment, for example, is not possible until maintenance or replacement.

  • the assembly / disassembly device according to claim 1 has a jacket body consisting of a tubular section and an engagement section, wherein the engagement section on the fuel injector by means of a radial engages on the inside projecting support surface and is adjustable between an engagement position in which a non-positive connection can be established with the fuel injector and a release position in which the assembly / disassembly device can be removed from the fuel injector.
