Definitions
- the present invention relates to a device for Closing non-round or even round box bodies with appropriate lids, preferably with the formation of a Double seam.
- Non-round, but also round cans can be used in rotating multi-head sealing machines closed, especially with a Double fold can be closed.
- Every "head" of such Capping machine is its own capping station Capping rolls the already on and preferably already clipped lid of a can during that distance that the station can pick up from when the can is received to release them.
- the closing heads or stations around a central axis of rotation the is usually designed as a column or the like, rotatably arranged.
- Such capping machines are high performance capping machines ("Carousel machines"). Such for Out-of-round cans usually have at least three stations or heads. Since each of these stations has about 60 to 80 cans each Minute, the performance range is about 200 cans per minute. Such capping machines also in Systems for medium output ranges (e.g. 100-150 cans / min.) use, such as cheap for fish cans would not make sense. Because every capping station, So every head beats a whole at about 10% of the cost Locking system to beech. It is therefore desirable for medium performance capping machines with only two Provide minds, as these are clear in the purchase should be cheaper.
- the axis of rotation designed as a central pillar increases with otherwise the same dimensions, the path length on the circle, the center of each capping head on this axis describes before the next head can be loaded, and thus the distance the cans enter the Sealing machine must have each other.
- the speed increases on the acceleration section and the risk of spillover.
- The must also Section between the acceleration section and Capping machine due to the larger distances between the retracting can bodies are larger.
- sealing machines for round cans usually have a large number of heads, for example 4 to 6 heads.
- heads usually have a large number of heads, for example 4 to 6 heads.
- very large round cans are to be closed, for example large cans for sauerkraut, etc., for example for the catering trade, a sealing machine with only two heads would also be advantageous here.
- the object of the present invention is a two-head capping machine for closing out of round or round To provide cans, the acceleration path and the accelerations actually achieved are not significantly above those of a three-head machine.
- the transmission of the drive energy can any way decentralized, preferably via decentralized columns. At least one, preferably two such columns can be provided. Over a yoke or the like, these are coupled to the drive, the preferably done from above. Are rigidly connected to the yoke furthermore the two sealing stations, preferably on one further attached or integrated at right angles to it Yoke are arranged hanging.
- the distance between the columns central axis of rotation is chosen such that a sufficient There is a distance to the closing heads, e.g. 11 to 18 cm. They are preferably as close as possible to the Capping heads arranged, e.g. at a distance of 3-10 mm, particularly preferably about 5 mm, for convenient gripping of the folded cans with a usual gripping element to them Ensure removal from the capping machine.
- the measure according to the invention has the consequence that the two Capping stations very close or close to each other can be arranged.
- the distance between the stations can, for example, be about 3-10 mm, preferably about 5 mm can be reduced. So that decreased the diameter of the circular path that is the center of each Locking station as it moves around the central axis of rotation describes, and thus the distance that is in the capping machine retracting can body must have each other.
- FIG. 3 is a schematic illustration of a closing device known in the prior art with the three heads 1, 2 and 3, which are arranged around a central column 7. Along the path 4, cans 5, 5 'are inserted into the sealing machine with the lid placed, preferably clipped on. As soon as they have reached position 5 'under one of the three closing heads, the closing process begins while the head - here head 1 - moves in a circular path about the axis of rotation 100 via the column 7.
- the size of such an automatic sealing machine can be for example the following:
- the diameter of the head d is approximately 260 mm
- FIG. 6 shows a filled can the acceleration distance: the liquid level 8 straightens itself as a plane at a right angle to the effective acceleration 9 (from acceleration of gravity plus generated by the movement Acceleration) off; Liquid can therefore at high Acceleration into the open groove between the lid hook and Get the fuselage hook and possibly even out of the can emerge, so that a clean closure is no longer possible.
- the cans in the same size range are accelerated as with the conventional three-head capping machines. This shortens the Acceleration route versus one in a traditional way manufactured two-head machine, and the risk of Soiling that e.g. with fish cans too costly failures can be greatly reduced.
- Figures 4 and 5 schematically show the invention Arrangement of the closing heads from the side, once in section A-A and once in section B-B.
- Known details such as lifting elements and the like are omitted, in Figure 4 also in Figure 5 indicated table 8 ("quill table").
