Definitions
- the invention relates to a drain fitting of a cistern according to the The preamble of claim 1 features specified.
- Such a drain fitting is known from the published patent application DE 197 36 766 A1, which contains a valve pipe which can be raised in the vertical direction and which acts as an overflow pipe is trained.
- a sealing element of a drain valve arranged, by lifting the valve tube, the sealing element from a stationary arranged valve seat is lifted to the flushing water contained in the cistern to drain through the drain valve.
- the drain fitting is a two-part drain fitting formed and contains two floats each arranged in brake tanks as well as two tie rods for either a large quantity flush or a small quantity flush trigger by lifting the overflow pipe, while during the small-volume flushing a swimmer is locked.
- a Reduction of the flushing performance can occur.
- a cistern with a drain fitting is known from WO 85/000 47 has an annular body on the underside of the single brake container.
- the ring body surrounds the sealing element in the raised position of the valve or overflow pipe, a back pressure of the flowing water is shielded such that on the Valve body hardly act on fluid mechanical forces.
- the valve should therefore last as long stay open until the brake reservoir is almost empty.
- the valve tube is only partially raised, so the sealing element does not get into the enclosed by the ring mentioned ring space, but it is located below the lower edge of the said ring.
- partial emptying or small-volume flushing works the water flow in full on the sealing element, which, above all shortly before the end of the small-volume flushing, it experiences a strong acceleration and is suddenly pressed onto the valve seat, making a considerable closing noise can arise.
- the invention is based on the object of the drain fitting mentioned type to the effect that the flushing noises are reduced. Especially in the case of small-volume flushing, in which only a part of that in the cistern contained flushing water flows out through the drain valve, a too loud closing noise be suppressed. Furthermore, the drain fitting should be easy to use assembly and possible service measures.
- the drain fitting according to the invention is characterized by a simple and functional function Structure and contains a flow deflector attached to the overflow pipe in such a way that an undesirably strong one, especially at the end of small-volume flushing Acceleration of the sealing element down on the valve seat and an associated loud closing noise is avoided.
- the one with the valve tube fixed and more preferred Flow deflector connected in a liquid-tight manner prevents the water flow presses on the sealing element from above and this in particular at the end of Small-volume flushing accelerated inadmissibly.
- the flow deflector preferably overlaps the outer edge of the sealing element, being between the outer edge and the flow deflector advantageously has a narrow annular gap.
- the Flow deflector is preferably designed as a hollow body, which is closed at the top and is designed to be open towards the sealing element, the outer wall is adapted to the inner surface of the housing or the brake container of the drain fitting and in particular is cylindrical. Contains the housing or the brake reservoir at the lower end a ring body, which is open at the bottom and in which the Flow deflector protrudes at least partially. Between the flow deflector or whose preferably cylindrical outer wall and that with the bottom of the lower brake container a second one is tight, in particular integral with this annular body there is a narrow annular gap.
- the Annular body forms a cavity which expediently from the bottom of the top Housing or brake container is completed and in which from the bottom the flow deflector protrudes.
- the height of the cavity is predetermined such that in the closed position of the drain valve the flow deflector with its upper one Finally protrudes something into the cavity and on the other hand in the open position the drain valve of the flow deflector at least approximately completely fills the cavity mentioned.
- the invention includes drain fittings of any type, for example with only one float, a lifting bell or other braking and Control devices to the drain valve in after triggering a flushing process predeterminable way to close.
- the specific design of the Drain valve or the overflow or valve pipe depends largely on the Sealing element associated flow deflector, which over the sealing element is arranged and a flow or pressure force from above on the sealing element essentially avoids.
- the flow deflector is a down projecting edge or ring body of the housing assigned to when closing the Drain valve the action of a water flow or from downward To avoid force components on the flow deflector at least approximately.
- Fig. 1 shows an axial longitudinal section of the drain fitting with a first float 2 for the small quantity flush.
- first float 2 which is preferably within a First brake container 3 is arranged, a first tie rod 4, in particular in one piece connected to trigger a small quantity flush.
- the first float 2 and / or the first pull rod 4 are in particular via a plug connection with one in one Housing 5 movably arranged valve and / or overflow pipe 6 coupled.
- the valve tube 6 on the outer surface at least one indentation or recess 8, in which at least one locking element 10 of the first float 2 engages.
- valve or overflow pipe 6 At the The lower end of the valve or overflow pipe 6 is a sealing element 12 in a known manner arranged, which in the closed or rest position shown here on a Valve seat of a floor or drain valve of the cistern, not shown here rests, the bottom 14 is indicated by a dashed line.
- the housing 5 of the drain fitting also contains a second brake container 16 for one second float 18.
- the housing 5 and the brake reservoir 16 are known Way connected to the outlet valve and contain radial pins 20, which Represent components of a bayonet connection with the drain valve.
- the one up open second brake container 16 contains a bottom 22 and a valve tube 6 in one predetermined distance surrounding inner wall 24 such that the valve tube 6 in the direction the essential vertical longitudinal axis 26 is movable.
- the second brake reservoir 16, in which the second float 18 is also vertical Direction is movable, contains at least one lateral and / or radially outward directional opening or control bore 28 through which after triggering a large-volume flush the water present in the brake container 16 flows out.
- the opening or For the sake of clarity, control bore 28 is 90 ° with respect to longitudinal axis 26 shown offset and is actually located behind the drawing plane as shown in the drawing.
- There a control slide 30 indicated with dash-dotted lines is also provided, which is adjustable in the direction of the longitudinal axis 26 by means of a control rod 32.
- the Control spool and the control bore are matched to each other so that accordingly the position of the control slide 30 of the free flow cross section adjustable the outflow quantity or outflow speed of the in the brake container 16 water and ultimately the amount of rinsing water.
- the Arrangement of the opening or control bore 28 in the lateral outer wall of the second Brake container 16 is with regard to an annular space to be explained below below the bottom 22 of particular importance.

- the flow deflector 56 is with the tube 6 tight and in particular firmly connected and conveniently above, especially with a lid 58 closed.
- the flow deflector has one of these downwards directed in particular cylindrical outer wall 60, which preferably with its lower end engages over the outer edge 62 of the sealing element 12.
- Between the A preferably narrow annular gap 63 is present on the outer edge 62 and the outer wall 60.
- the narrow annular gap 12 is due to the fixed connection of the flow deflector 56 with the Valve or overflow pipe 6 always present, regardless of the particular Position of the valve or overflow pipe 6.
- the flow deflector 56 is advantageously in the form of a hollow body formed which apart from a cavity 64 present above the sealing element 12 seals tightly from said first annular gap 63.
- the closed up Flow deflector 56 prevents water flow from the top of the sealing element 12 presses, so that especially at the end of the small quantity flushing too strong Acceleration of the sealing element 12 and / or the overflow pipe 6 down in Direction to the valve seat. This suppresses a too loud closing noise.
- a downwardly projecting edge or annular body 66 is provided at the lower end of the housing 5 or the lower or second brake cylinder 16 .
- the Bottom 22 of the brake container 16 a much larger distance from the cistern floor 14 on.
