Definitions
- the invention relates to a protective helmet, in particular for motorcyclists, according to the preamble of claim 1.
- a helmet with integrated headphones is known from US Pat. No. 3,602,329 which a silencer is provided.
- a hearing protector is known from DE 29 46 150 A1 in which capsules are provided are on the side of the head and enclose the ears.
- Capsules are integrated acoustic filter systems, which are designed as resonance systems are.
- the wearer of a motorcycle protective helmet may be one while driving exposed to very high noise levels. This arises on the one hand due to the Motor and driving noise of the motorcycle, on the other hand due to the wind noise, that arise directly on the protective helmet.
- DE 196 48 352 A1 describes a covering at least the ears of a wearer Headgear, made of at least one-layer, in particular textile, Material, for additional, optional use under a protective helmet, whereby on the headgear, at least in the hearing sensitivity area of the ears, at least one additional layer and / or at least one layer from another Material is attached.
- a balaclava reduces in a simple way the noise level caused by wind noise from the protective helmet. Indeed with the disadvantage that another piece of clothing must be put on.
- a protective helmet especially for motorcyclists, is at least marked with a helmet shell and helmet lining through the use of a sound damping device, in particular for damping wind noise, the sound damping device as a Helmholtz resonator is trained.
- Advantageous embodiments of the invention are characterized in that the Muffler either as an additional volume outside the helmet shell on Protective helmet is attached or is integrated into the helmet lining. It is it is particularly advantageous if the sound absorbing device is removed from the helmet lining is separable. With a sound absorbing device integrated in the helmet lining is advantageous that the noise reduction without additional on the hard hat parts to be installed and without additional assembly work.
- the Muffler can also be designed so that an improvement the crash properties of the safety helmet is achieved, for example through the formation of the chambers and webs of the Heimholtz resonators.
- the resonators are essentially in the lateral area of the helmet shell, in particular attached in the area of the ears of a safety helmet wearer, that has the The advantage that sound absorption is particularly effective.
- Particularly suitable for The absorption of the Helmholtz resonators in this case is, for example, the cheek pad and / or the neck pad of the shelter. If several Heimholtz resonators form a broadband absorption damper that on at least one is tuned to a specific frequency range, the attenuation is to the ear of the Helmet wearer's particularly good sound waves.
- Figure 1 shows a helmet inner shell 1 of a protective helmet, which consists of at least from a helmet shell (not shown) and a helmet shell located in it helmet lining not drawn.
- Part of the helmet lining, drawn here as the inner helmet shell 1 is designed so that it is as large as possible, both on the helmet shell and on the head of the helmet wearer, not shown is applied. It consists, for example, of foamed plastic, which in Is padded towards the head of the helmet wearer by padding parts.
- a sound damping device designed as a Helmholtz resonator, integrated, especially to dampen wind noise.
- the soundproofing device can be separated from the helmet lining, as in FIG.
- FIG. 2 shows by a cuboid insert here designed as a Helmholtz resonator 2, is inserted into the inner helmet shell 1. More than Helmholtz resonators trained insert parts 3, 4, 5 are also essentially lateral Area of the helmet shell, here in the area of the ears of a not drawn Protective helmet wearer inserted into the inner helmet shell 1.
- Figure 2 shows a Helmholtz resonator as a broadband absorption damper based on certain frequency ranges is tuned. For this are the volumes of the resonator bores 6 different sizes.
- FIG. 3 shows a Helmholtz resonator in one made from the helmet inner lining removed cheek pads 7 of a protective helmet.
- the cheek pad 7 is designed as a Helmholtz resonator with resonator bores 6.
