- Pressure relief valve and / or the outlet pressure of the pressure regulator automatically adapt to changing operating conditions.
- the dirt surface can be a paper web, a paper sheet or a Be cylinders of a printing press, in particular a blanket cylinder, Plate cylinder or impression cylinder.
- FIG. 1 and 2 show a cylinder 2 with a surface 4 to be cleaned, which the latter is referred to below as a dirt surface.
- the cylindrical dirt surface 4 of the cylinder 2 to be cleaned lies with Small distance axially parallel to a wash bar 5, which axially parallel to the cylinder 2 a carrier 7 and one carried by this Has rubber lip 6. They form a pneumatic one between them Pressure chamber 8 for inflation and thus for turning on the rubber lip 8 the dirt surface 4.
- a cloth section 18 extends over the rubber lip 6 Cleaning cloth 10, which is then intermittently by one predetermined distance from a clean cloth roll 12 to a dirty cloth roll 14 is transportable if the cleaning cloth according to FIG. 1 of the Dirt surface 4 is parked (removed).
- the cleaning cloth 10 can be pre-moistened and / or by a Humidifier 16 to be moistened before it enters the gap is transported between the rubber lip 6 and the dirt surface 4.

- the pressure switch 31 or the pressure relief valve 30 can be connected to the pressure chamber 8 or between the latter and the compressed air supply valve 22 to the pressure line 20 be connected.
- the outlet pressure of the pressure regulator 32 can be, for example, 2 bar be set.
- the pressure to open the pressure relief valve 30 or Switching the pressure switch 31 can, for example, be set to 0.6 bar his.
- An electrical control device 34 which is preferably a processor and contains programs, controls the two valves 22 and 24 of the Valve arrangement depending on predetermined machine conditions.
- washing mode can be started during which the printing mode is set is, however, the cylinder 2 continues to rotate and paper to be printed continues is transported through the machine.
- the Rubber lip 6 placed several times on the dirt surface 4 of the cylinder 2 and turned off again, with the cleaning cloth standing still intermittently, when it is pressed against the rotating dirt surface 4.
- the cleaning cloth 10 is only advanced by a predetermined cloth section 18 transported when it is not rotating according to FIGS. 1 and 2 Dirt surface 4 is present.
- the cleaning cloth 10th each from the moistening device 16 with water or another If liquid has been moistened, a drying process can be carried out in which a dry cleaning cloth section 18 to the cleaned dirt surface 4 is created.
- the invention also makes it possible to alternately connect the washing bar 5 to the cylindrical surface of two or more cylinders 2 to make them to be cleaned one after the other. If there are different distances between the Rubber lip 6 and the dirt surfaces 4 to be cleaned are provided, the greater or smaller distance of the rubber lip 6 from the cleaning dirt surface 4 by adjusting the pressure on Pressure regulator 32 are bridged, and / or by appropriate setting of the pressure switch 31 or the pressure relief valve 30, in which he switch should be used for venting. This depends on the machine conditions optionally changing the pressures at the outlet of the pressure regulator 32 and / or of the venting switching pressure on the pressure switch 31 or on the pressure relief valve 30 can be done by the control device 34.
- a wash bar 5 with a rubber lip 6 is from the prior art is known, for example from said US 4,344,361. Furthermore, from Prior art also known wash bars, which instead of a inflatable rubber lip have multiple pneumatically adjustable cylinders, which press against a flexible element which is similar to the rubber lip 6 is arranged to press a cleaning cloth against a dirty surface. Instead of a rubber lip 6, one can also be perfect in the circumferential direction closed hose can be used. The invention is also for such Embodiments can be used.
- the invention is not only for cleaning cylindrical surfaces usable by cylinders, but also for cleaning moving ones Sheets of paper and sheets of paper, in particular paper dust from them wipe.
- the direction of movement 36 of the cleaning cloth 14 shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 and the direction of movement 38 of the dirt surface 4 are only an example understand.
- the directions of movement can also be reversed or in go in the same direction. It is only essential that between the Cleaning cloth 10 and the dirt surface 4 to be cleaned Relative movement takes place.
- Another manometer 40 shows the one set on the pressure regulator 32 Outlet pressure.
- a manometer 42 shows the pneumatic pressure in the Pressure room 8.
- a pre-moistened cleaning cloth 14 can be used, which is already damp on the cloth roll 12.
- Compressed air source 26 is typically a compressed air network in a print shop, which have an air pressure of e.g. B. has 6 bar.
- the compressed air supply path 20 from the Compressed air source 26 to pressure chamber 8 of pressure element 6 contains in Compressed air supply direction successively the pressure regulator 32 to reduce the Network pressure of z. B. 6 bar on z. B. 2 bar or 1.5 bar, which in Fig. 1 in Ventilation valve 22 (compressed air supply valve) shown in the closed position Quick exhaust valve 44 and the pressure switch 31.
- the quick exhaust valve has a compressed air inlet "P", one Compressed air outlet "A”, and a vent outlet "R” with a Silencer 45.
- the compressed air supplied from the pressure source 26 flows from the ventilation valve 22 through the compressed air inlet “P” to the compressed air outlet "A” of the Quick exhaust valve 44.
- the exhaust outlet “R” is thereby locked.
- the pressure of the compressed air at the compressed air inlet "P” by switching the vent valve 24 from one Closed position in the open position shown in Fig. 1 under one predetermined value drops, then the compressed air outlet automatically "A” vented via the vent outlet "R” and the silencer 45. This results in a faster ventilation of the pressure chamber 8 than when the venting of the pressure chamber 8 only takes place via the vent valve 24 would.
- the ventilation valve 22 has one at the outlet of the pressure regulator 32 connected compressed air inlet 48 and one to the compressed air inlet "P" of the quick exhaust valve 44 connected compressed air outlet 50.
- the Vent inlet 46 of the vent valve 24 is at the section 20-3 of the Compressed air supply path 20 connected to the output 50 of the Ventilation valve 22 with the compressed air inlet "P" of the Quick exhaust valve 44 connects.
- the pressure relief outlet 28 of the Vent valve 24 can also be provided with a muffler 45.
- the ventilation valve 22 is in each case from the control device 34 Open position and switched from the pressure switch 31 to the closed position.
- the Control line 49 of the pressure switch 30 is preferably not directly to the Ventilation valve 22 connected, but via the control device 34.
- the vent valve 24 is both from the control device 34 in the Open position as well as switched to the closed position.
- the switching process is from the Control device 34 triggered or by the pressure switch 31.
- the pressure switch 31 (preferably a Vacuum switch), the quick exhaust valve 44, the ventilation valve 22 and the vent valve 24 is arranged as close as possible to the pressure chamber 8, so that there are short flow paths.
- the pressure switch 31 is preferably connected directly to the pressure chamber 8 or very close to its inlet 56 for the compressed air supply path 20.
- Pressure chamber 8 can additionally be provided with a pressure relief valve 54 be set to a higher pressure to open than that Target pressure in the pressure chamber 8.
- the pressure switch 31 of FIG. 1 represents a pressure limitation measure, which according to the embodiment of FIG. 2 also by instead the pressure chamber 8 or close to this, for. B. at its compressed air inlet 56, pressure relief valve 30 connected to the compressed air supply path 20 according to FIG. 2 can be realized, which opens when the air pressure in the pressure chamber 8 rises above the setpoint with which the compressed air increases the pressure element 6 should press the dirt surface. Instead, this could also be done in FIG. 1 shown relief valve 54 can be used.
- the invention has the advantage that on the one hand not the mostly fluctuating network pressure Compressed air source 26 is used, which leads to inaccurate controls of the Pressure element 6 would lead, and on the other hand by the pressure regulator 32nd a regulated pressure is available that is higher than the set pressure in the Pressure chamber 8 so that the required air pressure quickly from the pressure regulator 32 reaches the pressure chamber 8, but without a higher one in the pressure chamber 8 Pressure is generated as the setpoint.
