Definitions
- the invention relates to a holster for a firearm, specifically a handgun, with a trigger guard.
- a holster is known from US 5,573,157 A, in which a resilient tongue engages from the side in the trigger guard. If the weapon is to be drawn, there is one Actuator, the handle between holster and the user is pushing down whereby the resilient tongue spreads away by a kind of wedge and the trigger guard of the weapon and thus the weapon is released itself. When the weapon is inserted the resilient tongue deformed so that the trigger guard you slide past, the springy tongue after passing the trigger guard back to its original position springs and the weapon is blocked.
- This device has the disadvantage that to operate the bouncy tongue the handle around a relatively long piece Path must be postponed, and that especially in the long Use outdoors due to the penetration of dirt and foreign bodies the resilient tongue in their releasing position can be fixed so that none there is sufficient security. Add to that that through the great way that the springy tongue covers there has been a noticeable mechanical stress, through which it is used frequently or when worn for a long time there are signs of fatigue in the area of the spring, which eventually breaks the spring.
- a holster is known from WO98 / 40686 A.
- This holster is used to hold the weapon through magnets that are made with magnetizable components of the Interact weapon, security against accidental or unwanted removal of the weapon from the holster is given by a security pin, which is essentially can be moved normally to the plane of symmetry of the weapon is stored and also in the area of the suit hanger protrudes and by a spring in its path of movement in the Removal of the weapon from the holster is held.
- a wing-shaped actuator the one has inclined plane, which is also inclined Interlocking level of the pin interacts, the locking pin against the force of the spring out of the range of motion of the safety bracket when the Gun to be taken out of the holster.
- the operating lever or Safety pin by a lock in the locked position not only to fix the gun in the holster store, but also to keep them safe.
- the locking pin on the open side has a bevel on the side facing the holster, to be moved by the weapon when it is inserted, it is for a holster on the market Design not possible to put the gun in the holster bring, without operating the handle, which is natural significantly reduces ease of use.
- the aim of the invention is to create a holster which does not have the disadvantages set out and in which a handgun, on the one hand, reliably and safely too with large pull-out forces held in the holster is, on the other hand, the actuator for releasing the Gun is to be operated with minimal effort and to Release even a minimal actuation path of the mechanism occurs.
- a locking hook is arranged, which is rotatable about an axis which is parallel to the plane of symmetry and normal to the barrel axis of the to be inserted Gun runs, with the locking hook on the the hook opposite side of its pivot axis has a printing surface on which in the course of insertion the weapon the trigger guard comes to rest and the locking bolt with a torque towards its locked position loaded and in that the locking bolt on the opposite of the contact surface with respect to its pivot axis Side has an operating lug on the attacks a thrust element to open the locking hook.
- a holster according to the invention is purely schematic shown in section, with only the area of Holsters is shown, the one with the weapon inserted Trigger guard.
- the cutting plane runs on the weapon to be inserted, parallel to its barrel and normal to their plane of symmetry.
- Fig. 1 shows a holster housing 1, in which a Swivel axis 2 is arranged around which a locking bolt 3rd is pivotally mounted.
- the locking bolt 3 has a printing surface 4, which is intended with the outside the safety clip of the weapon to be inserted in To come in contact.
- the locking bolt 3 has on its the pressure surface 4 with respect the pivot axis 2 opposite side Actuating nose 5, which serves to interact with an actuator explained below to turn the locking bolt 3 into its release position if the weapon should be drawn.
- the locking bolt 3 also carries a pivot axis 6 a securing plate 7 is pivotally attached.
- This locking plate 7, which is substantially parallel to Locking bolt 3 is arranged in the area that the pressure surface 4 of the locking bar 3 is adjacent, one Actuating surface 8, which, as can be seen from Fig. 1 is above, i.e. closer to the opening of the holster than that Pressure surface 4 of the locking bar 3 is.
- This location of the Actuating surface 8 or the entire securing plate 7 is achieved in that the locking plate 7 by a spring is loaded with a torque that the Securing plate (in the illustration according to FIG. 1) tries to turn counterclockwise.
- the locking plate 7 has on the actuating surface 8 facing away from a contact lug 9 on abuts a counter surface 10 of the housing 1 of the holster.
- actuating nose protrudes in the embodiment shown 5 of the locking bolt 3 in an opening 11 of a Slider 12, which serves the locking bolt 3 against the Clockwise to bring it into its releasing position.
- the locking bolt 3 includes his locking lug 19 the inside of the trigger guard 13 and prevents any movement in the opposite direction Arrow 14 if you neglect the necessary minor play.
- the invention itself advantageously experiences another one Design that can be seen from FIGS. 5 and 6 is.
- FIGS. 1 to 4 show a holster according to the invention 1, partly in the direction of arrow V of FIG Cut.
- the holster area is also here and in front all above the details shown in FIGS. 1 to 4 pictured.
- a locking pin 22 is provided on a Pusher 23 sits, the pusher 22 in the direction of Arrow 24, thus obliquely to arrow 14, is displaceable.
- the locking pin is in the position shown in FIG. 5 22 with its forehead against a stop surface 25, so that when actuating the actuator 21 in the direction the arrow 14 of the locking pin 22 on the stop surface 25 bumps and every further movement and thus a release the weapon prevented.
- the locking pin 22 comes out of the Area of the stop surface 25 in the area of a Recess 26 and it can be the actuator 21 in the direction of arrow 14 are moved until the weapon is released.
- This indented position is shown in Fig. 6, it can clearly be seen that the locking pin 22 in the Recess 26 takes place and the pusher 12 essentially that shown in Fig. 2 (but there by the insertion the weapon reached) takes position.
- the handle 23 to cover if it is ensured that the weapon for is not needed for a long time.
- this can be the case for law enforcement officers who Have to carry weapon on duty, but for example are inside a police or court building.
- FIGS. 7 and 8 Such a cover is shown in more detail in FIGS. 7 and 8 shown.
- 7 and 8 correspond to Fig. 5th and 6, but no section shown in section is present, but the holster in the direction of the arrow 5 of Fig. 1 is shown in view.
- the cover 27 is about an axis 28 rotatably arranged and has an approximately bone-shaped shape on.
- a section 29 which has approximately the shape of a circular segment stands opposite the actual cover section 30.
- a segment 31 is provided in the segment section 29 in which a projection (not shown) of the housing 1 is slidable or is movable when the cover 27 to their Axis of rotation 28 is rotated.
- a recess 32 is arranged at a short distance from it, which also take up the protrusion of the housing can and so serves as a rest. It works as follows:
- Fig. 9 shows the locking bolt 3 and the locking plate 7 in perspective view without the surrounding Components.
- the resilient training the locking plate 7 by its needle-shaped, the Swivel axis 2 encompassing spring nose clearly visible.
- the staggered arrangement of the actuating surface 8 and Printing area 4 is clearly visible.
- FIG. 10 and 11 show the individual parts of the invention Device for itself (Fig. 10) or in summary with a holster (Fig. 11).
- the arrangement of the locking bolt 3 and the locking plate 7 in an insert part 34, which also takes control of the slide 12 is clearly too see.
- the invention is not based on the illustrated embodiment limited, but can be changed in various ways and be varied.
- the fuse plate 7 due to its crescent shape with a curved end designed so that it deforms during assembly is that they themselves also the task of the torsion spring around the Swivel axis 6 takes over.
- either one Torsion spring can be in the region of the pivot axis 6 is provided or a spring between the housing 1 of the holster and a matching spring catch on the locking plate 7 is attached.
- the pivot axes 2 and 6 are preferably with one of the two parts, which they pivotally connect, in one piece trained, which is easily possible if the components like this how the entire holster is made of plastic. In In such a case, appropriate training is required Injection mold easy to do. It plays with no specific disadvantageous application area Roll if the swivel axes made in this way are slightly conical and not cylindrical, to make molding easier. It can be the appropriate Recording holes may also be included the same conical suits to make one flat storage to come.
- shut-off device it is easy with the holster according to the invention, one Installation of the shut-off device is only necessary, for example a cam can be provided below the locking bolt 3, which interacts with the underside of the actuating nose 5 and prevents their downward shift. If this Cam in the locked position using a key is fixable, the gun is locked in the holster and their withdrawal inaccessible.
