Definitions
- the invention relates to a clamp that can be operated with one hand, with a handle and a fixed jaw having drive housing, with a through Swivel actuation on the handle to a rail with second jaw shiftable operating handle, wherein the rail by means of a thumb pressure on Release member releasable lock member locked back is.
- Such a one-hand operated clamp is known from your German utility model 87 03 379.
- a locking member in the form of a spring force in a tilted position to the rail Swivel lever, one end of which is on the housing side supports and its other end in one plane, in which actuation handle and handle are located protrudes from the housing.
- DE 39 17 473 is a one-hand operated Clamp previously known, in which a brake lever in Direction of hand attack before handle and operating handle is the middle or index finger on me Handle is retractable.
- US Pat. No. 3,606,085 describes a cartridge ejection device, where also the locking member in the direction of hand attack arranged in front of the operating hand is.
- An unpublished OS 197 31 579 describes a one-hand operated clamp, in which a seen in the hand attack direction in front of the handle and the actuating handle arranged locking member in the form of a gate valve by attacking one by pointing or Middle finger operated release lever slidable is.
- the invention has for its object a generic one-handed clamp in use to improve.
- the task is solved initially and essentially by the solution given in claim 1, being on it is turned off that the release organ one by one approximately at the level of the operating handle from the side Housing projecting pivot axis swiveling actuating arm trains.
- the direction of actuation of the actuating arm is the direction of actuation of the actuation handle opposed.
- the position of the operating arm is also chosen so that it lies where in natural Grip posture of the handle it the thumb of the the handle is held by the hand. For actuation the thumb therefore needs the actuating arm not in a position to the rear of the handle to be brought. Beyond that, it is not required that the operating handle is loose comprehensive fingers opposed to the thumb have to change their position.
- the Swivel axis of the actuating arm in relation to the clamping direction the rail in front of the pivot axis of the handle is arranged. This is then advantageous with a Arrangement of the locking member also in front of one of the Actuating handle relocatable drive member. It is also advantageous if the pivot axis of the Actuator arm related to the rail of the swivel axis the handle is opposite and the actuating arm the rail crosses. This allows an optimal length of the actuating arm can be selected. To both left hand operation, as well as right hand operation to enable the one-handed clamp are on actuating arms arranged on both sides of the housing intended. The actuating arms can be on a common pivot axis sit.
- This pivot axis can form a second arm. That second arm preferably sits in the housing and acts on the locking member.
- the locking member is supported with one side on a shoulder fixed to the housing. This side opposite side is preferably used to release the non-return lock from the second arm of the two-armed Lever arrangement applied. It is also advantageous when the second arm of the lever assembly is around one one arranged on the opposite side of the rail pivot pivoting motion transmission lever works. Then it is not the second arm that is immediate acts on the release link, but a pressure edge of the motion transmission lever.
- the locking member can further than by the release organ against a return spring be displaceable slide formed. This slide can then be pressed by the thumb Actuator arm to be moved along the rail.
- the return spring acts the relocation of the gate valve together with the rail.
- the actuating arm or Actuating arms each in a bearing recess on the broad side of the housing inlay.
- the bearing trough can be angular segment-like be designed and a flat floor on which the operating arm slides.
- the motion transmission lever can continue in a spring by a spring Operating arm in its rest position and its pressure flank at a distance from the locking member position be kept. This is a safe non-return lock of the stepper transmission guaranteed.
- the second arm one of an angular extension of the motion transmission lever works.
- This angular extension can have a flat contact surface for the second Poor.
- the motion transmission lever is preferred by means of a tension spring in the night stand position Locking member held.
- the two sides on the broad side of the housing arranged troughs can be circular be formed, the pivot axis of the actuating arm outside the circular storage trough lies.
- On the operating arm, which is a curved one Can have shape, can in the inner direction of the arch connect a wall that slides on the bottom of the hollow.
- the actuating handle can also be divided into two, as the full content in the disclosure content describes with enclosed DE 197 31 579.8, wherein the lever ratios of the lever transmission are designed in this way are that with increasing tension towards smaller ones Change the displacement paths of the drive link.
- the mode of operation of those shown in the exemplary embodiment Clamp is in the unpublished DE 197 31 579.8 describes why on this Point is referred to. From this pre-registration there is in particular the interplay between Power transmission lever 21, operating handle 6 and Drive member 19.
- the power transmission lever 21 has an elongated hole, which from a housing-side pin 23 is enforced. Depending on the torque applied the actuating handle 6 shifts the housing side Bearing point of the power transmission lever 21, so that the leverage ratios on the drive member 19th Acting lever assembly 21, 6 change so that the Displacement of the drive link with increasing Torque application decreases.
- the clamp has a drive housing 1, which preferably consists of two plastic shells and which forms a stepper transmission in itself.
- the stepper transmission acts on the drive housing 1 penetrating rail 4.
- the rail 4 can have a square cross section.
- the steel one existing rail 4 projects through a sharp-edged opening a drive member 19 and a sharp-edged Opening a gate valve 7.
- Gate valve 7 and Drive member 19 are also made of steel. Become Gate valve 7 or drive member 19 in a transverse position aligned to the rail 4, the rail 4 can by the opening of locking slide 7 or drive member 19th be moved freely.
- the drive member 19 is in its normal position held in said transverse position by a spring 20. But it is by swiveling the operating handle 6 brought into a tilted position, so that the Actuation of the handle 6 displaced drive member 19th the rail 4 entrained in the tensioning direction S. Will the Actuating handle 6 released, it springs in their rest position ( Figure 2) back. The spring 20 presses the drive member 19 back into a transverse position.
- a seen in the hand attack direction in front of the drive member 19 arranged locking slide 7 is supported with its side 7 'against a housing-side support shoulder 12 from.
- a second arm acts on the side 7 '' of the slide 13 of a thumb-actuated release element 8.
- the second arm 13 which is designed as a swivel cam, acts on one end of a motion transmission lever, which around a housing-fixed axis 27 is pivotally mounted.
- the pivot axis 27 of the motion transmission lever lies on the opposite side of the rail Attack side 7 '' of the locking slide 7. On this attack side 7 '' acts the motion transmission lever with a pressure edge 14 'when it is pivoted. In its non-pivoted position is the motion transmission lever 14 according to a tension spring 18 in one Distance to the gate valve 7 held. The second Arm 13 acts directly on one of the pressure flanks 14 ' opposite side of the motion transmission lever 14.
- the pivot axis 9 of the two-armed lever 8, 13 passes through the two opposite broad sides 11 of the Housing, so that the actuating arm 8 is formed twice can be, namely on each broad side 11.
- the actuating arm 8 lying on the outside of the housing slides when swiveling on the floor of a storage trough 16 the wide side of the housing 11.
- the pivot axis 9 spans together with the pivot axis 10 of the operating handle 6 and the pivot axis 27 of the motion transmission lever 14 a triangle, which is in the clamping direction S seen in front of the pivot axis 10 of the handle 6.
- the actuating arm 8 crosses the Rail 4 in an oblique direction, with the free end of the actuating arm 8 has a trough 25 which in Area of the root on the actuation handle 6 opposite side of the handle 2 is arranged.
- the housing 1 carries a fixed jaw 3, this a movable clamping jaw 5 is arranged opposite, which via a plastic connector and a screw connection 24 is connected to the end of the rail 4 is.
- the screw connection 24 is detachable.
- the one from the plastic connector trained jaw 5 can also be screwed to your opposing screw 24 End of the rail 4 to be attached to a Realize the spreading function of the clamp.
- the actuating arm 8 can be followed by another Thumb pressure in a position shown in Figure 4 relocate.
- the actuation transmission lever by action by the second arm 13 pivoted further.
- the rail 4 is not dragged along.
- the slider 7 rather slides on the rail 4.
- the tension spring 15 also pulls the locking slide 7 against the tensioning direction S back. Because of the lateral attack of the tension spring 15 arises the locking slide 7 in a tilted position and takes the rail 4 against the clamping direction S. The movable jaw 5 moves away from the fixed jaw 3. By step-by-step thumb actuation the actuating arm 8 can thus be movable Clamping jaw 5 gradually against the clamping direction be relocated.
- the embodiment is the pivot axis 10 for the Handle 6 arranged so that the fingers grasped Side of the operating handle 6 closer to Back of the handle 2 is as in the first embodiment. Nevertheless, is between Handle 2 and operating handle 6 the free gusset 26.
- the trough assigned to the back of the handle 2 25 another trough 31 is arranged opposite.
- the index finger of the operating handle can be placed in this recess 6 comprehensive hand so that the Overall, the clamp is firmly in the hand without the Actuating handle 6 must be encompassed as such, since the trough 31 is assigned to the housing and the Actuating handle only immediately adjacent to the Trough 31 protrudes from an opening in the housing.
- There the attack 2 is U-shaped, the operating handle 6 even into the U-space of the Handle 2 can be swung in.
- the actuating handle 6 made of plastic has an internal cavity in which a section of the power transmission lever 21 protrudes.
- the one in the inner cavity protruding portion of the power transmission lever 21 has an end which is open at the end, in which a compression spring 28 rests, which opposes supports a projection of the operating handle 6.
- the protrusion is also located in the inner cavity.
- the arrangement of the compression spring 28 is chosen so that they have the actuating lever 6 in the in FIG. 8 position shown holds. When swiveling the Operating handle 6 to the handle handle is the Compression spring 28 compresses and thus serves as a support to the spring 20 the resetting of the operating handle 6.
- this is Locking member 7 with its side 7 'against a housing-fixed Support shoulder 12 on.
- the one opposite to page 7 ' Page 7 '' is acted upon by a tension spring that the locking member 7 always with the rail 4th is in a tilted position.
- the motion transmission lever pivotable about its axis 27 14 has an angled at its free end Extension 30, which forms a flat surface, against which the second arm 13 of the thumb actuation handle works.
- a tension spring also engages on this extension 30 18 to the movement transmission lever in a To keep distance from the locking member 7.
- the compression spring 20, which the drive member 19 in the Holds crosswise, has a box cross-sectional shape.
- this storage trough 16 can be an arcuate wall extension 29, which the Actuator arm 8 is formed and so an L-shaped Cross-sectional shape there, sliding.
- the pivot axis 9 of the actuating arm 8 lies here outside the circular trough 16.
- the actuating arm 8 is towards its thumb loading side, whichever side the wall extension 29 is on, bent.
- the rail 4 is in the inner housing between two Guide strips 33, 34 out. That of the operating handle 6 facing guide bar 33 has a trapezoidal shape Recess 34. In this trapezoidal recess 34 is a spring plate 32.
- the spring plate 32 is biased and exerts a frictional force on the Rail 4, so that the movable jaw 5 in one self-locking position is maintained when in the shown in Figure 8 distance to the fixed Clamping jaw 3 lies.
- the frictional force from that Spring plate 32 is exerted on the rail 4 is sufficient to allow displacement of the locking member 7 without the rail 4 also moving.
