Definitions
- the invention relates to a holster for a firearm, especially a handgun, with a trigger guard according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Holsters are today the most diverse safety requirements posed. So they should not only keep the gun safe and mechanically protect, but also a stealing or from the holster tear by a third party, for example in the case a scuffle, reliably prevent.
- US 5,275,317 A relates to a holster according to the preamble of claim 1 with a protection against unauthorized withdrawal of a firearm.
- One order an axis pivotally mounted, C-shaped locking bolt is when inserting the Weapon transferred through the trigger guard in its locked position. There will be a Pressed down the nose of the C-shaped locking bar, while, as a result, the other, at the other end of the locking bar arranged nose pushes in the trigger guard and contacted the inside. Unlocking the weapon is done via a release rod, against the force of a spring holding the locking latch in the locked position, must be pressed.
- In embodiments are also V-shaped, working on the same principle Locking bar provided, which engage from both sides in the trigger guard.
- This device has the disadvantage that the handle for actuating the resilient tongue must be postponed for a relatively long distance, and that especially at prolonged outdoor use due to the ingress of dirt and foreign bodies the resilient tongue can be fixed in its releasing position, so that no adequate Security exists.
- the handle for actuating the resilient tongue must be postponed for a relatively long distance, and that especially at prolonged outdoor use due to the ingress of dirt and foreign bodies the resilient tongue can be fixed in its releasing position, so that no adequate Security exists.
- the handle for actuating the resilient tongue must be postponed for a relatively long distance, and that especially at prolonged outdoor use due to the ingress of dirt and foreign bodies the resilient tongue can be fixed in its releasing position, so that no adequate Security exists.
- the springy Tongue has covered, a significant mechanical stress occurs, by it with frequent use or with prolonged wearing to fatigue in the area of the spring, which eventually leads to the breakage of the spring.
- US 2 551 913 A describes a holster with a arranged in the region of the trigger guard Device for fixing the firearm.
- the fixing device comprises a Plate firmly connected to the back wall of the holster. On this plate is a Speriegel mounted pivotably about a pivot axis. By a spring is the Locking lug of the locking bolt pressed into the opening of the trigger guard.
- One through an opening the holster's outstanding switch button is firmly connected to the lock. at Actuation of the switch button by pushing in the unlocking of the firearm.
- the holster of US 1 930 203 A has a device for removing the However, a holster weapon does not facilitate security against unauthorized removal represents.
- the holster comprises two areas or parts, which are connected by a spring hinge held together.
- a button protrudes into the Trigger guard and is held by a spring in this position.
- the trigger guard pushes against the knob, which is connected via a linkage, which is rotatably mounted in the holster acts on a latching mechanism, whereby as a result, the two areas of the holster can swing out relative to each other and a substantially automatic opening of the holster takes place.
- US 1 641 439 similar to US 2 551 913 A, describes a holster with a fixing device for a firearm in which the operation of a button to disengage a strap from the inside of the trigger guard of the firearm causes.
- the operation button is connected to a rotatably mounted plate, the strap from the trigger guard in the direction of the holster wall.
- US 2 349 376 A also describes a holster with a latching mechanism for the trigger guard of a firearm, with a plate on the outside of the holster over a clamp is movably fixed. A connected to the plate extension is by a Spring pressed into the opening of the trigger guard. By pulling the plate against the spring force unlocks the gun and can be pulled out.
- the fixing devices of the holsters described above have a simple design Locking mechanism on whose operation, however, associated with some effort and therefore takes precious time in an emergency.
- the weapon at excessive extraction forces from the fixing device triggers and unintentionally torn from the holster. This may even happen lead to destruction of the fixing device.
- the weapon can be the Kumarieri, for example, in a scuffle, easily be snatched.
- the device from US 1 930 203 A with the withdrawal of the weapon a mechanism is initiated, which causes the opening of the holster, the extremely easy removal is used the weapon from the holster. In this sense, this device has no Securing against unintentional extraction forces, impacts or other shocks.
- a holster is known from WO98 / 40686 A.
- This holster is on the one hand the holder of the weapon by magnets containing magnetizable components of the Weapon cooperate, the security against accidental or unwanted removal
- the gun from the holster is given by a security pin, which is essentially is normally slidably mounted on the plane of symmetry of the weapon and also in the area of the trigger guard protrudes and by a spring in its trajectory the removal of the weapon is held out of the holster.
- a wing-shaped actuator which has an inclined plane, which also has a sloping casserole plane the pin cooperates, the locking pin against the force of the spring be pushed out of the range of motion of the safety latch when the gun is off to be taken from the holster.
- the actuating lever is provided or to fix the safety pin by a lock in the locked position, not only to store the weapon in the holster, but also to keep safe.
- the locking pin on the side facing the open side of the holster has a chamfer to be moved when inserting the weapon of this it is not possible with a commercially available holster of this type, the weapon to bring into the holster, without the handle to operate, which of course the ease of use significantly reduces.
- this object is achieved with a holster according to the preamble of the claim 1 reached, characterized in that the sperm level parallel to a pivot axis to the pivot axis Swivel axis is mounted pivotable locking plate, which, under the force of a Spring standing, the locking latch in its locked position urges and a contact nose has, with rammed weapon rests against a mating surface of the housing and so the Locking latch holds at least substantially in its open position.
- a holster according to the invention is purely schematic shown in section, with only the area of Holsters is pictured, with the weapon inserted Picking up the trigger guard.
- the cutting plane runs on the Conssteckende weapon, parallel to the barrel and normal to its plane of symmetry.
- Fig. 1 shows a holster housing 1, in which a Swivel axis 2 is arranged around which a locking bolt. 3 is pivotally mounted.
- the locking bolt 3 has a pressure surface 4, which is intended to be with the outside of the securing clip of the weapon to be inserted in To come in contact.
- the locking bolt 3 has at its the pressure surface 4 with respect the pivot axis 2 opposite side a Actuation nose 5, which serves to interact with an actuating device explained below to turn the locking bolt 3 in its release position, if the gun should be pulled.
- the locking bolt 3 further carries a pivot axis 6, on a backup plate 7 is pivotally mounted.
- This backup plate 7, which is substantially parallel to Locking bar 3 is arranged, in the area, the the pressure surface 4 of the locking bolt 3 is adjacent, a Actuating surface 8, which, as shown in Fig. 1 can be seen is, above, i.e. the opening of the holster closer than the Pressure surface 4 of the locking bolt 3 is located.
- This location of Actuating surface 8 and the entire backup plate. 7 is achieved in that the backup plate 7 through a spring is acted upon by a torque that the Locking plate (in the illustration according to FIG. 1) looking to turn counterclockwise.
- the backup plate 7 points to the actuating surface 8 facing away from a contact lug 9 on, the a mating surface 10 of the housing 1 of the holster is applied.
- the locking bar comprises 3 with his locking lug 19, the inside of the trigger guard 13 and prevents any movement in the opposite direction Arrow 14, except for the necessary minor play.
- the principle of self-locking is shown, that applied in a preferred embodiment of the invention will: the resulting force F, which is a movement the trigger guard 13 in the extension direction, thus contrary the direction of the arrow 14 acts on the locking bolt 3, generates about its pivot axis 2, a torque in the direction of the arrow Mb and thus prevents any release movement (Counterclockwise rotation) of the locking bolt 3.
- the contact surface between the locking lug 19 and the inside 18 of the Abzugsriegels 13 limited to such an area remains that each pull-out force F (distance x to the axis of rotation) generates a moment in the reverse direction.
- the invention itself advantageously undergoes another Embodiment, which can be seen from FIGS. 5 and 6 is.
- the pusher 23 when it is certain that the weapon for no longer needed. This can be special to be the case with judicial guards, who are the Weapon on duty, but for example inside a police or courthouse building.
- FIGS. 7 and 8 correspond to FIG. 5 and 6, but not a cut portion is present, but the holster in the direction of the arrow 5 of Fig. 1 is shown in view.
- the cover 27 is about an axis 28 rotatably arranged and has an approximately bony shape on.
- An approximately circular segment shape exhibiting section 29th stands opposite the actual cover section 30.
- a web 31 is provided in the a projection (not shown) of the housing 1 slidably or is movable when the cover 27 to their Rotary axis 28 is rotated.
- a recess 32 is arranged, which also absorb the projection of the housing can and serves as a rest.
- the cover close to a bring their two end positions, so that the ball or the Projection in the train 31 sticks out, which is not directly into the Rast passes, but ends shortly before, so that to snap also an additional force is necessary if this is not quite as big as for snoozing.
- Fig. 9 shows the locking bar 3 and the locking plate 7 in perspective view without the surrounding Components.
- the resilient training the backup plate 7 by their needle-shaped, the Swivel axis 2 encompassing spring nose clearly visible.
- the staggered arrangement of the actuating surface 8 and the Print area 4 is clearly visible.
- FIGS. 10 and 11 show the individual parts of the invention Device by itself (FIG. 10) or in synopsis with a holster (Fig. 11). It is the simple one Construction of the device without thread, only with pins, clearly visible. The arrangement of the locking bolt 3 and the backup plate 7 in an insert 34, which also the leadership of the slide 12 takes over, is clearly over see.
- the invention is not limited to the illustrated embodiment limited, but can be changed several times and be varied.
- the backup plate 7 by their crescent-shaped shape with a bent end designed so that it deforms during assembly so that she herself is also the task of the torsion spring around the Swivel axis 6 takes over. It is of course possible here to provide a separate spring, either a Torsion spring may be in the region of the pivot axis. 6 is provided or a spring between the housing. 1 of the holster and a matching spring catch on the backup plate 7 is attached.
- the pivot axes 2 and 6 are preferably with one of both parts, which connect them pivotally, in one piece trained, which is easily possible if the components so as the entire holster are made of plastic. In such a case, an appropriate training of Injection mold easy to do. It plays at objective application also no disadvantageous Roll when the swivel axes made this way are slightly conical and not cylindrical, to facilitate the shaping. It can be the appropriate Recording holes may also be included be provided with the same conical suits to one flat storage to come.
