Definitions
- the invention relates to a paper machine clothing, especially as a dryer fabric, with one for the pad a paper web provided and one of them machine side facing away, the paper machine clothing has a fabric of longitudinal and transverse threads or consists of it.
- Such a dryer fabric can be found in US 4,621,663. It consists of a fabric with two longitudinal thread systems, wherein the machine-side longitudinal thread system Round threads and the paper-side longitudinal thread system made of very wide flat threads.
- the machine-side longitudinal thread system binds in a double-layer, machine-side Cross thread system.
- a second between the two longitudinal thread systems Cross thread system made of flat cross threads arranged by the longitudinal threads of both systems are integrated and the Connect the two longitudinal thread systems in this way.
- the flat cross threads have a relatively large distance to each other and are from the round cross wires of the first Cross thread system separated by the longitudinal threads.
- the previously known dryer fabric forms a very smooth one Surface on the paper side.
- it does Disadvantage that it is very voluminous and also expensive is to be produced.
- the dryer fabric according to the US has a simpler structure 4,829,681.
- all are Cross threads formed as flat cross threads by the Longitudinal threads are integrated.
- the longitudinal threads also have an inverted U-shaped cross section. However, this cross section ensures high rigidity the longitudinal threads with the result that the longitudinal threads a produce a very bumpy surface on the paper side and thereby create the danger of markings.
- a dryer fabric which consists of a fabric consists of longitudinal and transverse threads, the transverse threads being a paper side Thread system made of flat cross threads and a machine-side thread system Form round cross threads, one round cross thread each on the machine side the flat cross threads and each have a flat cross thread and be on it adjacent cross thread are integrated together by the longitudinal threads.
- the invention has for its object a paper machine clothing of the type mentioned at the beginning that despite a smooth surface it is a simple one Has structure and can be manufactured inexpensively can.
- This task is accomplished in an embodiment with paper-side Flat cross threads and machine-side round cross threads solved according to the invention in that in each case at least at least two round cross threads on the machine side part of the flat cross threads and each a flat cross thread and its round cross threads attached to it shared by at least part of the longitudinal threads are involved.
- the basic idea of the invention is therefore to support the flat cross threads with round cross threads and thereby improve the dimensional stability.
- the paper machine clothing according to the invention is distinguished through simple construction.
- the flat transverse threads expediently have an extension in the longitudinal direction (running direction) of the paper machine clothing from 1 to 25 mm, preferably 10 to 15 mm, and in the thickness direction (across the plane of the paper machine clothing) from 0.2 mm to 1 mm. Fall by definition but always only under the term "flat cross threads" those where the thickness is less than the extension in the longitudinal direction of the paper machine clothing.
- the task set is analogous Way also solved in that at least part of the Cross threads is formed as a flat cross thread on which protruding longitudinal webs are formed on the machine, the longitudinal webs in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the Extend flat cross threads.
- This measure also serves Dimensional stability of the cross threads and ensures that the smooth paper-side surface of the flat cross threads remains as flat as possible and thus the paper web over a large area supported.
- the production of such flat cross threads can by extruding the plastic material used happen.
- the longitudinal webs can meet the respective requirements and be adapted to the manufacturing possibilities and in this Frames have any cross-section. Come into question in particular rectangular, trapezoidal and / or round Cross-sections.
- the number of longitudinal webs is in principle not limited. Particularly favorable conditions result itself when two or three longitudinal webs are formed side by side are.
- the longitudinal threads can also be formed as flat threads his.
- the longitudinal threads should extend in the transverse direction of the paper machine clothing (Width) from 0.5 to 5 mm and in Thickness direction go from 0.2 to 1 mm.
- the longitudinal threads should only have one flat transverse thread each embed, like a plain weave, you can see the combination of flat and round cross threads as a unit.
- At at least part of the longitudinal threads preferably all Longitudinal threads each have two adjacent longitudinal threads Form a pair of longitudinal threads, the longitudinal threads of which are tied with tie in the cross threads. This results in combination with the flat cross threads a broad and smooth support base for the paper web.
- the Dryer fabric 1 wide flat transverse threads on the paper side - designated by way of example with 2 - that of pairs of longitudinal threads - designated by way of example with 3 - involved be, each pair of longitudinal threads 3 from two longitudinal threads - exemplified with 4, 5 - exists within of a pair of longitudinal threads 3 run identically.
- the Longitudinal thread pairs 3 tie with the flat transverse threads 2 Type of plain weave, d. H. they bind on the paper side a flat cross thread 2 and the machine side then the flat cross thread 2 and then again on the paper side the following flat cross thread 2.
- the longitudinal threads 4, 5 of the longitudinal thread pairs 3 form in the Version below the dash-dotted line on the Front edge 8 of the dryer fabric 1 large loops - exemplary designated 9 - and small loops - exemplary designated with 10 - from.
- the big loops 9 take turns with small loops 10.
- the version above the dash-dotted line forms only large ones Loops 9 out. It is understood that through this representation two different types of front edges 8 are shown should be that only with a dryer a loop version is available.
- the big loops 9 form loop eyelets 11, these loops 9 with corresponding large loops on the other front edge of the dryer fabric 1 are thus overlapped can that all loop eyelets 11 are aligned and thus form a channel through which is known per se Way a plug wire for connecting the front edges 8th pushed to form a so-called plug wire seam can be.
- the dryer fabric 21 shown in FIG. 3 differs differs from the dryer 1 according to FIGS. 1 and 2 only through the design of the example designated 22 Cross threads.
- These cross threads 22 are in one piece Molded strands formed.
- Each cross thread 22 has a flat transverse thread 23 on the paper side, on the machine side thereof two longitudinal webs 24, 25 are formed side by side are.
- the longitudinal webs 24, 25 have an essentially circular shape Cross section and increase the bending stiffness of the associated flat transverse thread 23.
- the cross threads 22 are of longitudinal threads 26 in the same Integrated like the combination of flat cross threads 2 and machine-side round transverse threads 6, 7 at the dryer fabric 1 according to FIGS. 1 and 2.
