Abstract

Ein quaderförmiges Ritzpolster, mit einer Mehrzahl aneinanderliegender Streifen (1) von gedeckter Wellpappe ist so ausgebildet, daß alle Streifen (1) sowie ein sich daran anschließendes Mantelteil (2) einstückig aus einer Wellpappenlage gebildet sind, wobei die aneinanderhängenden Streifen (1) zieharmonikaförmig zu einem Block gefaltet sind, und das Mantelteil (2) diesen Block mantelartig umhüllt. <IMAGE>

Description

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein quaderförmiges Ritzpolster gemäß dem Oberbegriff des Anspruches 1.
Derartige Ritzpolster finden für unterschiedliche Zwecke Verwendung.
Allerdings ist die Verwendungsfähigkeit dieser Ritzpolster aufgrund der relativ geringen Belastbarkeit eingeschränkt. Diese rührt daher, daß kein Verbund zwischen den einzelnen Streifen besteht, so daß nur geringe Kräfte aufgenommen werden können.
Überdies ist die Herstellung der bekannten Ritzpolster relativ aufwendig, da viele Arbeitsschritte noch manuell durchgeführt werden müssen.
Insbesondere unter dem Aspekt, daß solche Ritzpolster in großen Stückzahlen eingesetzt werden, kommt diesem Nachteil eine besondere Bedeutung zu.
Der vorliegenden Erfindung liegt daher die Aufgabe zugrunde, ein Ritzpolster der gattungsgemäßen Art so auszubilden, daß seine Belastungsfähigkeit und damit seine Verwendbarkeit verbessert wird und daß seine Herstellung einfacher und kostengünstiger wird.
Diese Aufgabe wird durch ein Ritzpolster gelöst, das die Merkmale des Anspruchs 1 aufweist.
Durch diese Ausbildung eines Ritzpolsters wird nun ein geschlossener Block geschaffen, der praktisch einen Vollkern aufweist, durch den eine sehr hohe Belastbarkeit gegeben ist.
Von daher wird die Verwendungsfähigkeit dieses Ritzpolsters wesentlich verbessert.
So ist beispielsweise der Einsatz als Palettenfuß denkbar, wobei dann das Ritzpolster im Sinne einer Kufe mit dem Palettendeck verbunden wird und sich über die gesamte Tiefe bzw. nahezu die gesamte Tiefe des Palettendecks erstreckt.
Gegenüber den bekannten Palettenfüßen, insbesondere solchen aus Wellpappe, kann eine mit erfindungsgemäßen Ritzpolstern versehene Palette wesentlich höher belastet werden.
Hinzu kommt, daß aufgrund der Ummantelung, bei der die gedeckte Seite die Außenseite bildet, eine relative Unempfindlichkeit gegenüber von außen einwirkenden Witterungseinflüssen, beispielsweise Feuchtigkeit, gegeben ist. Die Lebensdauer eines solcher Art ausgebildeten Palettenfüßes ist ohne zusätzlichen Aufwand beziehungsweise weitere konstruktive Maßnahmen gegenüber bekannten Palettenfüßen aus Wellpappe erheblich länger.
Eine besonders hohe Stabilität wird dadurch erreicht, daß zweiseitig gedeckte Wellpappe verwandt wird.
Auch die Herstellung dieses neuen Ritzpolsters ist besonders vorteilhaft, da dies insgesamt aus einer einstückigen Wellpapplage gebildet wird.
Dabei ist diese lediglich jeweils so zu ritzen, daß die einzelnen Streifen gelenkig miteinander verbunden bleiben, wobei anschließend ein Teil der Streifen zieharmonikaförmig zu einem Block gefaltet werden, während ein anderer Teil der Streifen das Mantelteil bildet, das den Block umschließt.
Der letzte Streifen des Mantelteiles wird nach dem Aufrollen mit dem Block im übrigen verklebt.
Zur Verbindung des Ritzpolsters mit beispielsweise dem genannten Palettendeck wird eine Seite mit einem Kleber versehen, der zunächst mit einer Schutzfolie abgedeckt ist, die erst unmittelbar vor dem Verbinden mit dem Palettendeck abzuziehen ist.
Dieser Kleber ist zweckmäßigerweise auf der Seite des Mantelteiles aufgebracht, an der sich die offene Kante des letzten Streifens des Mantelteiles befindet. Nach dem Verbinden des Ritzpolsters mit dem Palettendeck ist somit diese offene Seite des Streifens durch das Palettendeck abgedeckt, wodurch sich ein wirksamer Schutz dieses gegenüber mechanischer und witterungsbedingter Beanspruchung empfindlichen Bereiches ergibt.
Weitere vorteilhafte Ausbildungen sind in den Unteransprüchen gekennzeichnet.
Ein Ausführungsbeispiel wird nachfolgend anhand der beigefügten Zeichnungen beschrieben.

In der Figur 2 ist ein quaderförmiges Ritzpolster dargestellt, das eine Mehrzahl von aneinanderliegenden Streifen 1 aufweist, die aus einer beidseitig gedeckten Wellpappe bestehen.
Die aneinanderhängenden Streifen 1 sind zieharmonikaförmig zu einem Block gefaltet und außenseitig durch ein Mantelteil 2 umhüllt, das gleichfalls aus Streifen 3, 4 besteht und zusammen mit den Streifen 1 aus einer einstückigen Wellpappenlage gebildet ist.
Dies ist sehr deutlich in der Figur 1 zu erkennen.
Zur Faltung der Streifen 1, 3, 4 ist die Wellpappenlage jeweils entsprechend geschlitzt und zwar bis auf den durch die jeweils untere Deckschicht gebildeten Grund. Die Deckschicht bildet in diesem Bereich praktisch eine Schwenkachse. Die Ritzungen verlaufen quer zu den Wellen der Wellpapplage.
Der letzte Streifen 4 des Mantelteiles 2 ist mit dem darunterliegenden Streifen 3 verklebt. Auf dem der freien Kante des letzten Streifens 4 benachbarten Außenseite des Streifens 3 ist eine Klebschicht 5 aufgebracht, die beispielsweise durch eine Folie abgedeckt sein kann.
Diese Folie wird unmittelbar vor dem Befestigen eines solchen Ritzpolsters an einem Gegenstand, beispielsweise einem Palettendeck, entfernt. Ansonsten bildet diese Folie einen Schutz der Klebschicht 5.

Claims (7)

  1. Quaderförmiges Ritzpolster, mit einer Mehrzahl aneinanderliegender Streifen (1) von gedeckter Wellpappe, dadurch gekennzeichet, daß alle Streifen (1) sowie ein sich daran anschließendes Mantelteil (2) einstückig aus einer Wellpappenlage gebildet sind, wobei die aneinanderhängenden Streifen (1) zieharmonikaförmig zu einem Block gefaltet sind, und das Mantelteil (2) diesen Block mantelartig umhüllt.
  2. Ritzpolster nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Mantelteil (2) aus mehreren, aneinanderhängenden Streifen (3, 4) besteht.
  3. Ritzpolster nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Mantelteil (2) im Bereich seines letzten Streifens mit dem benachbarten Streifen (3) verklebt ist.
  4. Ritzpolster nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die die Streifen (1, 3, 4) begrenzenden Ritzungen quer zu den Wellen der Wellpappe verlaufen.
  5. Ritzpolster nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß ein Streifen (3) des Mantelteiles (2) mit einer Klebschicht (5) versehen ist.
  6. Ritzpolster nach Anspruch 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Klebschicht mit einer Folie abgedeckt ist.
  7. Ritzpolster nach Anspruch 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Klebschicht (5) auf dem Streifen (3) angeordnet ist, der der freien Kante des letzten Streifens (4) des Mantelteiles (2) benachbart ist.
