Definitions
- the invention relates to an insulated container, in particular of biodegradable Materials, with an inner cup of a along, in particular parallel to one Cut edge bonded blank formed inner jacket and one with this connected bottom part and with a with at least one outer side of the inner cup locally connected insulating jacket whose top edge at least in places with an upper cup opening of the inner cup bordering Mouth roll from below is in attachment.
- the invention relates to a method for Production of such a Isolierbechers, wherein a substantially frusto-conical hollow body is formed from a sector-shaped blank; one Bottom part inserted into the hollow body and both to form an inner cup be connected, an upper, a cup opening surrounding edge of the Inner cup rolled to form a substantially round mouth roll and the Insulating jacket is applied to an outside of the inner cup.
- Such an insulating cup, or such a method for producing a Isolierbechers is known from US-A-5226585.
- This insulating cup is used in particular for storage and consumption of tempered food, like drinks, soups or the like.
- Through the insulating jacket is intended a Thermal insulation provided, on the one hand, the temperature of the cup filled food sustained longer and on the other hand especially at heated food should avoid uninsulated contact with these.
- a disadvantage of such a known cup or in the previously known Manufacturing process is that, overall, the tightness of the cup over in the cup material penetrating liquid is insufficient.
- Such a mug has several cut edges along the corresponding blanks, from which the Mug is made. These cut edges are usually not sealed or sealed. Such a cutting edge is, for example, on an inner side of the cup and another cutting edge of the same blank is disposed within the mouth roll. Finally, at least one cutting edge of the insulating jacket is adjacent to the mouth roll or in places plant with this arranged.
- this liquid can, for example, over the cutting edge penetrate into the cup material on the inside of the cup and possibly soften the material and / or splices of the material to form the cup. As a result, the tightness of the cup is adversely affected.
- Another disadvantage is to be considered that by penetrated into the cup material Liquid the appearance of the cup can be adversely affected, and, if the cup is even leaking through the liquid that has entered the material, a user may be soiled by the cup contents.
- US-A-5 769 311 discloses a cup in which a mouth roll with a top edge a protective cover is in contact. First, the mouth roll or a corresponding flange changed in a certain way, leaving a gap on the outside a cover between this and the lower end of the flange not larger than 0.5 mm. This is to produce the corresponding cup facilitate.
- the appropriate method to fill a gap with these small dimensions is characterized by the fact that first pressed the mouth roll flat and then cover the cup up to a certain distance is pushed to the flat pressed mouth roll. The cover is then attached to a attached side wall of the cup and then there is a rebound of the flat-pressed mouth roll due to its inherent elasticity, around the gap between underside the mouth roll and top edge of the cover to reduce.
- the reverse deformation the mouth roll should in this context take place to such an extent that the bottom gets in abutment with the top edge of the cover.
- US-A-4 452 596 relates to the use of a sealing strip to cover an interior Cutting edge of a blank for a cup.
- a sealing strip to cover an interior Cutting edge of a blank for a cup.
- a corresponding Mouth roll is this publication only removable, that these from an outward rolled edge of the cup is formed.
- the invention is therefore based on the object, the cup, or the Process for its production of the type mentioned above to improve, that a well sealed and sealed mug is obtained which is simple and easy is inexpensive to produce.
- the inner cutting edge on the inside of the container is directly sealed and arranged in the mouth roll cutting edge is through Flat pressing the mouth roll also largely by the surrounding material the mouth roll sealed.
- the insulating jacket also seal, this can be in contact with a due the flat pressing of the mouth roll substantially flat bottom of the mouth roll to be brought.
- the cutting edge is at the bottom at the bottom of the Mouth roll, so that an inflow of possibly along the mouth roll more fluid Liquid in this cutting edge is much more difficult.
- a corresponding sealing material is at least along the cutting edge located on the inside of the inner cup applied and sealed this.
- a simple production of the seal of the cutting edge or a simple Applying the sealing material results when the sealing material around the Cut edge folded sealing strip is.
- a sealing strip is on a Side of the blank along the cutting edge applied and stands over the cutting edge above. Then the protruding part of the sealing strip around the cutting edge folded over and set on the back of the blank.
- a laminated on the blank Sealing film can form the sealing strip with overhang over the cutting edge.
- Such Sealing foils are laminated on blanks made of paper or cardboard in order to and oil resistant.
- sealing material on a polymer material and in particular of a one on the Inside and / or outside of the inner cup laminated sealing film forming Polymer material is. That is, sealing material and sealing foil can be made of the same Be material.
- a good usable and easy to use material for example in this context polyethylene.
- the flattened mouth roll can be considered to be at least two-ply, substantially radial outwardly from the Isolierbecher protruding, from the upper end of the inner cup formed, edge flange of the cup opening may be formed.
- a seal of the Edge flange can thereby by flat pressing the mouth roll in a heated state done so that the laminated sealing film is partially melted and on its re-cooling and curing it forms the seal.
- The can different layers of the flat-pressed mouth roll, as already stated above, be welded together over the sealing film.
- an upper layer of the Mouth roll relative to the inner cup radially outward and with this one be connected radially inwardly extending, lower layer, which is the substantially level bottom, with the upper edge of the insulating jacket from below in Plant is.
- the sealing of the cutting edge in the area of the mouth roll can be improved if the lower layer to form an intermediate layer at its the inner cup associated Folded up end and radially outward. This is at the free End of the intermediate layer, the corresponding cutting edge arranged in this Embodiment securely sealed between upper and lower layers.
- the imprints may be before, simultaneously with or after be formed on a printing of the insulating jacket.
- the imprints can be in a variety of patterns are arranged, such as grooves along and / or transversely in the insulating jacket, wherein the grooves extend over the entire height or along the entire circumference of the inner cup can extend. More patterns for such imprints are obvious and can at the same time be the aesthetic positively influence the appearance of the insulating cup and / or in context stand with a print of the insulating jacket.
- the insulating jacket can be in a simple embodiment of the invention extend from the mouth roll only over a certain height of the Isolierbechers. To one Thermal insulation available over the entire outside of the inner cup too However, the insulating jacket can, however, down to the bottom part of the inner cup extend and, for example, flush with the bottom edge of the cup end up.
- the on the outside the inner cup arranged cutting edge of the corresponding blank accordingly sealed for cutting edge arranged on the inside or to be sealed This can be done by a separate sealing strip or by the already described above sealing strip, in addition to this external Cutting edge is laid around and welded.
