Definitions

  • the invention relates to a beacon that can be used as a guide device, in particular for road traffic, with a warning or information sign provided attachment that folds over when a vehicle drives over it.
  • the Beacon can be used for lane separation and also for those at rest Areas serving traffic, e.g. in parking lots.
  • a beacon of the type described above is e.g. from the PCT application WO 96/26321 known.
  • the attachment comes with a footplate or connected to a continuous threshold and points in its a predetermined kink at the bottom.
  • This predetermined kink consists of soft elastic Material and serves that the beacons are run over can and straightens up automatically after being run over. Because the Attachment when kinking, especially with an unfavorable approach angle offers some resistance, the beacon can in the worst case Single lineup to be flung away when moving off, which of course is undesirable.
  • a beacon that can be folded down when moving off in U.S. 4,792,258 A. There is one from the outside with one Spring loaded locking device shown.
  • traffic cones are generally in the form of pointed Hats set up. These traffic cones have the disadvantage that they start up flung away or jammed under the vehicle, or they will hit the oncoming vehicle in the windshield spun. Control of the vehicle is therefore no longer guaranteed. Furthermore, the subsequent motorist cannot recognize that before there was a traffic cone in this place. In addition, due to the rounding Foil surface not as easily visible as with a flat surface.
  • the invention has for its object to serve as a control device Design the beacon so that it is not thrown away when starting off.
  • the beacon In the position of use, the beacon is upright due to the locking device Position held.
  • the first engagement overcome and the essay folded.
  • the folded down Position acts the second snap and holds the attachment in the lying position Position.
  • For unlocking the in the upright position of the attachment effective engagement requires a relatively low force.
  • the re-erection the essay is done primarily by hand.
  • the elements of the locking device are subject to wear and are therefore interchangeably housed in recesses of the parts of the tilt joint.
  • the attachment is in the form of a flat cone.
  • “flat cone” at least in one Main axis plane conical element can be understood.
  • the means that the attachment has a flat oval cross-section or one has a flat cross-section with sections rounded at the ends.
  • Such a flat cone represents a flattened cone.
  • a plate-shaped attachment has such an attachment with a flat oval or oval cross-section has the advantage that even the resulting end faces in particular reflective sections attachable are, so that these essays are sufficient from a lateral direction are clearly visible.
  • the attachment as a bollard-like essential rod-shaped element is formed.
  • Bollards are in front of everyone Things used to keep certain traffic areas free of traffic or traffic that comes from different directions to be able to. This means that such essays are the same from all directions are clearly visible.
  • the beacon shown in Fig. 1 consists of a plate-shaped attachment 1, that on its underside via two tilt joints 2 with a foot plate 3 connected is.
  • the plate-shaped attachment 1 has a handle 16 on its upper side and is on the sides with protruding from the plate surface on both sides Provide flanges 5.
  • the plate surface is in a known manner with optically easily perceptible, especially with reflective warning or Provide information signs.
  • This tilt joint 2 shows the tilt joint 2 arranged on the left in FIG. 1.
  • This tilt joint 2 consists of two identical parts 4, of which the left part 4 with the underside of the attachment 1 and the right Part 4 is firmly connected to the base plate 3.
  • For the respective attachment serve recesses 15, inserted into the fasteners and across to the recesses 15 extending channels 18 led bolts in their Location are secured.
  • the parts 4 are held together by an axis 6 by a Axis channel 8 is guided.
  • the axis 6 is designed as a screw bolt, the to the screw bolt belonging nuts 7 housed in recesses 9 in parts 4 are.
  • each part 4 On the side opposite the recess 9, each part 4 has one non-circular recess 16 (see FIG. 3), in which the elements 10 and 11th the locking device are housed.
  • the element accommodated in the part 4 connected to the base plate 3 10 has locking grooves 12 arranged in a cross shape on its surface, while in the other part 4 a provided with a locking rib 13 Element 11 is arranged. Between the back of the element 11 and a plate spring 17 is arranged through the bottom of the recess 14 which is a bias between the elements 10 and 11 of the locking device is produced (see FIGS. 4 and 5).
  • Fig. 2 the tilt joint 2 is shown with the attachment upright.
  • the horizontally arranged locking rib 13 engages under the action the plate spring 17 in the horizontal locking groove 12 and locked so that the two parts 4 together.
  • the re-erection of the attachment 1 is done by hand or according to claim 10 motorized.
  • the recess 15 has the shape of a rectangle with a semicircle on it. But it is also any other configuration conceivable by the mutual rotation of the part 4 and the locking element 10 or 11 used therein is avoided.
  • Fig. 1 it is shown that the attachment 1 on the tilt joints 2 at one Base plate 3 is attached.
  • the tilt joints 2 can also directly are attached to a road surface 3, in such a way that that engage in the recessed 15 stone screws.
  • the beacon is particularly useful when the vehicle is stationary Traffic to keep parking spaces advantageous. It can be a Parking space can be kept free for the owner by placing the beacon in front of it with an attachment provided with a parking sign or no stopping is set up.
  • the attachment with the Bumper of the vehicle bent over and brought into a lying position.
  • the essay must be checked by the owner of the Parking lot to be erected again.
  • FIG. 6a the attachment is conical educated.
  • 6b shows a further side view, which is perpendicular to that shown in Fig. 6a. From this it can be seen that the attachment 1 is designed as a flat cone 19. Pointing at the top the flat cone has a handle 16. The cross section or the thickness of the Flat cone 19 is designed so that the attachment from the side is visible, since its thickness is so designed that still on the end faces sufficient viewing area for attaching reflective, for example Elements is possible.
  • 6c the flat cone 19 is in its respect the footplate 3 shown folded position.
  • FIG. 7 shows a further embodiment in which the Attachment 1 is designed as a bollard-like, rod-shaped element 20.
  • this exemplary embodiment shows 7, which is also analogous to the illustration in FIG Fig. 6 is shown in three views a, b and c, one essentially circular in cross section formed upper area in the form of a Pollers 20, on which in the direction of the tilt joints 2 Transition area 21 connects, in which the substantially circular Cross section of the bollard 20 merges into an edge region.
  • an adapter 22 for connecting the bollard 20 with the Tilt joints 2 attached.
  • the diameter of the bollard 20 is chosen so that after the Thrown as a result of the bumper being hit by a motor vehicle the motor vehicle can easily drive over the bollard without Contact with the vehicle floor can occur.
  • the beacon designed according to the invention can even be in a horizontal position can be used by attaching the tilt joints to a wall. This can e.g. an access to a room can be blocked.
