Abstract

The lock, especially mortise lock has a bolt (17) and a latch (6) operated by a change-over lever (16) operated by a closure element (22). The change-over lever, after its swivel movement away from the closure element and as a result of a transverse displacement of the change-over element to the bolt is disconnected from the bolt. A thrust piece (30) is formed by a protuberance (31) on the lock-cover . The bolt forms a pocket (25) into which fits a carrier (26) belonging to the change-over lever.

Description

The invention relates to a lock, in particular mortise lock, with latch and change lever operated Trap, the change lever being used to retract the trap an opening closing operation controlled by a closing element is raised when the latch is actuated by Attack of the bolt on the change lever from the closing element until is swung away against a stop and at Dead bolt actuation by attacking the bolt on Exchange lever is pivoted back, the Swivel path is smaller than that due to an open access Bolt displacement.

A castle of the type in question is known from DE 32 13 454 A1, the two-speed lockable Bolt carries a coupling pin that in one immersed in the window-shaped opening of the change lever such that there is free passage in the direction of movement of the bolt about the size of a bolt tour. At the The coupling pin runs through when the bolt is closed this opening inside the window-shaped opening, along with taking the change lever with you Edge contact of the opening on the coupling pin. Then the change lever reaches its stop position on the back of the cuff, so it only shifts with the pre-actuation only the Bars. In the area of the window-shaped opening is the Change lever, seen in the direction of bolt displacement, to be designed accordingly wide, so that particularly small Backset dimensions are not feasible.

The object of the invention is based on the object to design a generic castle so that in addition to a favorable control of the change lever particularly small backset dimensions can be realized.

This task is first and foremost a lock with the features of claim 1 solved, it is based on the fact that the change lever after its swivel displacement directed away from the locking member as a result of a transverse displacement of the change lever to the bolt when the stop position of the bolt is reached is uncoupled.

As a result of such a configuration, a generic lock is created, which can even be created with a backset of 25 mm. This is possible due to the special control of the change lever. Since there is no window-shaped opening in the change lever, the change lever can be made particularly narrow in the area interacting with the bolt, which allows the backset to be reduced. However, it is also possible to create locks with backset, which backset is larger than 25 mm. In addition to its swivel displacement, the change lever is subject to a transverse displacement after it reaches its stop position during the bolt lock actuation. This is used to uncouple the change lever from the bolt so that only the bolt closes when the lock is actuated further. The swivel displacement of the change lever only needs to be so large that its end cooperating with the locking member comes out of the range of motion of the locking member. Since the change lever is not weakened by a window-shaped opening, a stable design can nevertheless be achieved with a narrow design of the change lever. According to the invention it is provided that the stop is formed by a projection of the lock top and its distance from the lock cylinder corresponds to the smallest backset. If backset sizes of larger dimensions are selected, the projection of the lock ceiling must be positioned accordingly. To achieve the particularly small backset of 25 mm, the stop is formed from the back of the cuff. The control of the change lever by the bolt results from the fact that the bolt forms a pocket into which a driver of the change lever engages, the pocket wall acting on the driver when the bolt is closed forming a particularly inclined control surface for the transverse displacement of the driver from the pocket. For the time being, the control surface causes the change lever to be carried as far as it will go in the first preliminary phase of the bolt. If this has been reached and the preliminary movement of the bolt is continued, the driver drives over the control surface, whereupon the driver leaves the pocket, in connection with uncoupling the change lever from the bolt displacement. In order to be able to bring the change lever back into the range of motion of the closing element during the closing, the pocket wall opposite the control surface acts on the driver during the closing shift.
So that the change lever inevitably comes into its dome position to the bolt when it is closed, i.e. it dips into the pocket, in the final phase of the bolt inference the driver returns into the pocket and provides a control projection which also holds the carrier in the pocket in the bolt return position. In order to reduce components, combined with an inexpensive manufacture of the lock, the driver is an angled extension of the change lever, which forms a control surface in the outer corner of the angle, which is acted upon by the control projection for inserting the driver into the pocket. The locking can be relocated accordingly without hooking. It turns out optimally that the control projection has a slope. Accordingly, the control surface of the angular outer apex and this slope act together, which optimizes the control of the driver in the pocket. Finally, the fact that the control projection or the stop is formed by beads embossed into the castle ceiling also contributes to the cost saving in the manufacture of the castle. Accordingly, no additional components are required for the change lever control.

Whose Closing member 22 shown in dash-dotted lines protrudes into the radial gap 21 and serves to take the Sprocket 20. Via a cooperating with the sprocket 20 Reduction gear 23 is both a connecting rod connecting slide 24 and the bolt 17 closable. However, this will not be discussed in more detail since this is known prior art.

In detail, the bolt 17 consists of a bolt head 17 'and a step-like offset tail tail 17 '' together such that the bolt tail 17 '' facing the castle floor 4. In the transition area from the bolt head 17 'to the bolt tail 17' ' the latch a pocket 25 out. One pocket wall 25 ' extends on the bolt head side and transversely to the direction of displacement of the bar. The distance between that Pocket bottom 25 '' and the opposite wide surface of the bolt tail 17 '' is less than the thickness of the tie tail. The pocket bottom 25 goes via an inclined control surface 25 '' 'in the inside trap tail wide area above. By this sloping control surface 25 '' 'becomes the other pocket wall formed, which is also transverse to the direction of displacement of the bolt 17 runs.

Gebildet ist dabei der Steuervorsprung 28 durch eine in die Schloßdecke 5 eingeprägte Sicke, vergl. insbesondere Fig. 6 bis 9.Dips into the pocket 25 up to the pocket bottom 25 '' protruding driver 26 of the change lever 16 into it. Regarding this driver 26, it is a angled extension of the change lever 16. The rounded The outer corner of the vertex forms a control surface 27. The latter works with a lock cover Control projection 28 together. This is roughly bar-like designed and has a faceplate 2 facing Slant 29 on. The tax advantage is formed 28 by an embossed in the castle ceiling 5 Beading, cf. in particular FIGS. 6 to 9.

Der Steuervorsprung 28 erstreckt sich dabei in fluchtender Gegenüberlage zum Mitnehmer 26.Undermined in the closed bolt position the change lever 16 the control projection 28. The change lever 16 thus extends between the facing Wide area of the bolt head 17 'and the control projection 28. This makes the driver 26 inevitable controlled and held in the pocket 25, cf. 6 in particular. The control projection 28 extends in alignment with the driver 26th

Dann dient als Anschlag die Rückfläche des Stulpes 2.Below the control projection 28 and the faceplate 2 adjacent the castle ceiling 5 has a stop 30, which is formed by a projection 31 of the castle ceiling is. This projection is also in the castle ceiling 5th embossed bead designed. The distance x of the stop 30 to the lock cylinder axis A corresponds to that smallest backset. To the castle shown Reducing existing backset can on Projection 31 are dispensed with. Then serves as a stop the back surface of the cuff 2.

The following mode of action occurs:
To retract the latch 6 with the bolt 17 already closed, the locking member 22 must be turned clockwise by means of the key associated with the locking cylinder. The stop shoulder 19 of the ring gear 20 acts on the lower end 18 of the change lever 16. This is raised thereby, connected with a pivoting of the latch engaging lever 11 about the nut axis, the case 6 coupled with this being pulled inward of the lock. The pocket length is dimensioned so large that the lifting of the change lever 16 and thus also the driver 26 is not impaired.

Is the locking of the bolt 17, starting from Fig. 1 and 3 desired, so has a closing rotation counter Clockwise direction. Over the ring gear 20 and the reduction gear cooperating with this 23 experiences both the connecting rod connecting slide 24 and the bolt 17 a shift in the locking direction. In the first preliminary phase of the bar 17 causes the designed as an oblique control surface 25 '' ' Pocket wall a pivoting of the change lever 16 around the hinge pin 14 between the latch attack lever 11 and Change lever 16. The latter leaves the area of the control projection 28. As soon as the change lever 16 with its lower end 18 against the stop 30, compare Fig. 4 and 7, leads as an oblique control surface designed pocket wall 25 '' 'to a transverse displacement of the change lever 16 connected so that the Carrier 26 leaves the pocket 25. A transition position is illustrated in Figure 8. By more The closing rotation then becomes the position according to FIG. 5 and 9 reached, in which the bolt 17 completely is locked. The change lever 16 extends between the stop 30 and the control projection 28, whose slope 29 faces the change lever 16. If the bolt 17 is closed and the connecting rod connecting slide 24 in the unlocked position brought, it has a closing rotation clockwise to take place. Because of the swiveled Position of the change lever 16 is located there lower end 18 outside the scope of the Stop shoulder 19 of the ring gear 20, so that Locking back can be carried out without disabilities. While this return movement of the bolt 17 is applied the pocket wall 25 'the driver 26 after passing through a corresponding closing path. It will the change lever 16 by pivoting taken. Here, the control surface 27 of the Change lever 16 and the bevel 29 in contact with each other, making this an inevitable Transverse displacement of the change lever 16 leads, the Driver 26 with its free end completely in the Immerses bag 25 to the bottom of the bag 25 ''. To carried out reverse rotation then overlaps the Control projection 28 again the change lever 16 and stops him in his position illustrated in Figure 4.

Since the clearance between bolt 17 and change lever 16th after the latch has been closed for the first time, no window in the change lever, the change lever can do a lot run narrow what the creation of the castle allowed with a small backset. Can be reduced the backset continues when on the lock cover side Projection 31 is dispensed with and the then necessary Stop for the change lever 16 from the rear of the cuff 2 itself is formed.
