Abstract

Cette invention concerne une attraction de type chute libre pour parcs à thème ou fêtes foraines, laquelle comprend les éléments suivants: un support (7) de sièges; une voie de type rail (2) montée sur une tour ou sur un mat et permettant de guider le support (7) de sièges; et enfin, un système (12, 13) permettant de transporter le support de sièges jusqu'à la section la plus élevée de la voie de type rail. La voie de type rail possède une section de chute libre verticale ou en pente (8) sur laquelle le support de siège va effectuer une chute libre, ainsi qu'une section de freinage qui est reliée à la section de chute libre verticale ou en en pente et qui va amener le support de siège à l'arrêt. Afin d'améliorer les sensations et d'accroître la sécurité, la section de freinage de la voie de type rail comprend une section de sécurité (9) qui s'étend vers le haut et sur laquelle le support de siège va être ralenti par un mouvement ascendant avant de retomber.
