Definitions
- the invention relates to a free-level water drain for a essentially flat surface, in particular a flat roof, the for a predefined maximum accumulation height of the water on the Surface is provided, with a drain opening arranged in the surface, to which a drain pipe is connected (see e.g. DE-U-9 116.383).
- the drainage openings are better known Open-level water drains through funnel-shaped inlets formed, which taper to the diameter of the drain pipe. Through the funnel-shaped inlet, it should enter the drain opening incoming water volume can be increased. This is what the Increase the length of the circular edge of the drain opening due to the funnel-shaped enlargement of the diameter of the drain opening. This increase in the edge length can also be the result be achieved that the drain opening through a opposite the drain pipe is gradually enlarged in diameter is formed.
- the present invention is therefore based on the problem from specifying a powerful free-level water drain, of minimal intervention in the substructure which essentially flat surface required.
- the free-level water drain according to the invention is dispensed with any type of diameter expansion of the drain opening and points only one edge of the drain opening formed by a curvature with which the transition to the flat ring flange is formed. It can be seen that by such a construction only the one required to run the drain pipe Intervention in the substructure of the flat surface, for example, a flat roof construction is. Surprisingly, however, the required drainage rate provided with unchanged diameter of the drain pipe. The decisive factor here is that the curvature at the edge the drain opening a significant increase in drain performance is achieved.
- the formation of the edge of the drain opening as in Inflow direction quasi-cylindrical weir increases the drainage capacity, and especially strong when the radius of curvature is on the accumulation height of the water flowing out through the drain opening is adjusted.
- the adjustment is preferably made to the maximum Accumulation height, which can be, for example, 4 cm by the Radius of curvature is about a third of the maximum accumulation height.
- the ratio of the accumulation height h to the radius of curvature is accordingly r by 3, i.e. between 2 and 4, preferably between 2.5 and 3.5.
- the drain pipe expanded and encircled towards the drain opening as a sleeve with the widened end the cylindrical shoulder of the ring flange, whereby a simple connection of the ring flange to Drain pipe is possible.
- the ring flange is on a mounting plate attached, which is embedded in the surface.
- annular Baffle arranged, the one connected via a curve cylindrical approach with the ring flange one around 90 ° deflected ring channel forms. Divides through the baffle the water running off when the accumulation height is greater than the distance of the baffle to the ring flange. The expiry date further increased.
- This effect can be improved if there are further annular baffles at a distance from each other be arranged, which, moreover, at the same time on their radial peripheral edges, preferably on the same radial End altitude, form a gravel trap if the distance between the baffles is small enough.
- a preferred distance is for example 1.5 cm.
- the cylindrical lugs of the baffles can be about the same length be designed so that they are in the same way as the baffles end in staggered height.
- FIG. 1 leaves a recessed in a roof surface (not shown) Recognize mounting plate 1 on the underside Drain pipe 2 is connected sealed.
- the drain pipe 2 is cylindrical with a constant diameter and only has an upper, sleeve-like end 3 on.
- the drain pipe opens 2 with a push-in socket connection in a continuous drain pipe 2 '.
- the continuing drain pipe 2 ' is with an analog Mounting plate 1 'in a lower roof layer connected, on which with a clamping flange 4 a (not shown) waterproof roof membrane is connected.
- the mounting plate 1 can, for example, in a concrete layer Roof structure to be embedded, over which a heat insulation layer is provided, which extends up to the mounting plate 1 and on the top of which also lays a waterproof roof membrane is. This is also on the drain pipe 2 in the manner of a Clamping flange connected.
- To develop the clamping effect acts an annular flange 5 with the mounting plate 1 for the purpose the clamping fastening of the roof skin together.
- the mounting plate 1 upwardly projecting threaded bolt 6, which protrude through corresponding openings in the ring flange 5 and take a mounting nut 7. With the fastening nut 7, the ring flange is pressed in the direction of the mounting plate 1.
- the ring flange 5 has one on its inner diameter a curvature 8 bent cylindrical projection 9, the Inner diameter corresponds to the inner diameter of the drain pipe 2 and into the widened end 3 of the drain pipe 2 protrudes.
- the cage 10 has a bottom 12, the one has central opening, the diameter of which is significantly larger than the inner diameter of the ring flange 5.
- the bottom 12 is mounted at a short distance from the ring flange 5, which thereby the height of the fastening nut 7 is predetermined. By this distance can be water through the ring flange 5 with his flow cylindrical neck 9 formed drain opening 13, without coarse impurities and gravel unintentionally into the drain opening 13 can reach.
- FIG. 2 shows the same water drainage device, but in which the drain pipe 2 is connected as an essentially horizontal drain pipe to the mounting plate 1 with the aid of a bend.
- FIG. 3 In the exemplary embodiment shown in FIG. 3 , three of the threaded bolts 6, with which the ring flange 5 is pressed against the fastening plate 1, are extended and provided with spacer sleeves 14, via each of which an annular guide plate 15 1 , 15 2 , 15 3 and 15 4 are attached.
- the baffles 15 are flat rings, each of which merges into a cylindrical extension 17 via a curve 16.
- the guide plate 15 1 with the ring flange 5 forms an annular channel 18 1
- the guide plates 15 1 and 15 2 form an annular channel 18 2 etc.
- the cylindrical projections 17 of the guide plates 15 are staggered, each with a reduced diameter, but otherwise in the axial direction of equal length.
- FIG. 4 illustrates the three long threaded bolts 6 with which the guide plates 15 are held and shows shorter threaded bolts 6 arranged between them, which are used only for the clamping fastening between the ring flange 5 and the fastening plate 1.
- the baffles 15 are arranged and fastened in the same way, but provided with cylindrical lugs 17 which all extend the same distance into the drain pipe.
- the ring channels 18 increase the drainage capacity, in particular in the exemplary embodiment shown in FIG. 5 , in that the vertical sections of the ring channels 18 quickly fill with water and thereby achieve a certain suction effect, although the entire water drain is a free-level water drain.
- the guide plates 15 also reduce the deflection loss of the inflowing water.
- the horizontal sections of the guide plates 15 also form an axial grille, which serves as a gravel trap and protection against coarse soiling, which thus cannot get into the drain pipe 2.
- the arrangement of the guide plates 15 therefore replaces the lattice cage 10 in the exemplary embodiments in FIGS. 1 and 2 .
- the vertical distance between the guide plates must be selected in a suitable manner. A distance between 10 and 20 mm, preferably 15 mm, is preferred with regard to the flow resistance and the gravel trapping effect.
