Abstract

Eine Duschtrennwand enthält wenigstens einen Türflügel (4, 5), welcher mittels zwei vertikal beabstandet angeordneten Scharnieren (12) um eine vertikale Schwenkachse schwenkbar gelagert ist, wobei den Scharnieren (12) jeweils ein Lagerbock (32) zur Verbindung mit einer Raumwand (2, 3) oder einem Wandelement zugeordnet ist. Die Duschtrennwand soll dahingehend weitergebildet sein, daß bei einfacher Konstruktion die Montage vereinfacht wird und die Ausrichtung des Türflügels problemlos durchgeführt werden kann. Zur Lösung wird vorgeschlagen, daß im Bereich der Scharniere (12) eine Platte (30) vorgesehen ist, welche einen vorgegebenen Abstand (46) zur scharnierseitigen Längskante (18) des Türflügels (4) aufweist, wobei ferner ein einstellbarer Überlappungsbereich (48) vorhanden ist, und daß die Platte (30) bezüglich des Lagerbocks (32) einstellbar angeordnet ist. <IMAGE>

Description

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Duschtrennwand gemäß den im Oberbegriff des Patentanspruchs 1 angegebenen Merkmalen.
Duschtrennwände der genannten Art enthalten wenigstens einen Türflügel, welcher mittels Scharnieren um eine im wesentlichen vertikale Achse schwenkbar ist, um einen Eintrittsbereich zum Duschinnenraum abzusperren oder frei zu geben. Dem Türflügel ist zweckmäßig im oberen Bereich und im unteren Bereich ein Scharnier zugeordnet, welche die gemeinsame Schwenkachse definieren und welche entweder direkt an einer Raumwand oder an einer Profilschiene eines Rahmens oder dergleichen befestigt sein können. Die Raumwände sind oftmals nicht exakt vertikal ausgerichtet und aufgrund bauseits bedingter Toleranzen weist der Eintrittsbereich von Fall zu Fall unterschiedliche Abmessungen auf. Bei der Montage ist daher ein nicht unerheblicher Aufwand zum Ausrichten des Türflügels und zum Ausgleich von Toleranzen erforderlich. Daher gelangen regelmäßig sogenannte Ausgleichsprofile zum Einsatz, welche jedoch einen zusätzlichen Fertigungs- und Lagerhaltungsaufwand bedingen.
Hiervon ausgehend liegt der Erfindung die Aufgabe zugrunde, die Duschtrennwand dahingehend weiterzubilden, daß bei einfacher Konstruktion die Montage vereinfacht wird und problemlos die Ausrichtung des Türflügels durchgeführt werden kann. Ferner soll die Duschtrennwand möglichst wenig Bauteile aufweisen, und es soll problemlos eine exakte Justierung des Türflügels und der Toleranzausgleich ermöglicht werden.
Die Lösung dieser Aufgabe erfolgt gemäß den im Patentanspruch 1 angegebenen Merkmalen.
Die erfindungsgemäße Duschtrennwand zeichnet sich durch eine einfache und funktionsgerechte Konstruktion aus und ermöglicht mit geringem Zeitaufwand eine problemlose Montage und Justierung des oder der Türflügel. Scharnierseitig ist dem Türflügel eine Platte zugeordnet, zu welcher der Türflügel in der geschlossenen Position in zweckmäßiger Weise einen vorgegebenen Abstand aufweist und welche mittels eines Lagerbocks an der Raumwand oder an einem feststehenden Wandelement der Duschtrennwand befestigt ist. Mit dem Türflügel ist ein erster Scharnierteil verbunden, und mit der Platte ist über einen Distanzkörper der zweite, wandseitige Scharnierteil in bevorzugter Weise einstellbar verbunden. Die genannte Platte enthält ein dem Distanzkörper des jeweiligen Scharniers zugeordnetes Langloch, welches im wesentlichen horizontal angeordnet ist und durch welches ein Befestigungselement, insbesondere eine Schraube durchgreift. Dieses Befestigungselement ist mit dem zweiten, wandseitigen Scharnierteil verbindbar, wobei wenigstens ein Einstellelement zum Verschieben bzw. Justieren des wandseitigen Scharnierteils und somit des Türflügels im wesentlichen in horizontaler Richtung vorgesehen ist. Aufgrund der genannten Langlöcher, welche den vertikal beabstandet angeordneten Scharnieren zugeordnet sind, kann die Platte derart ausgerichtet werden, daß ihre wandseitige Längskante an der zugeordneten Raumwand oder dem feststehenden Wandelement praktisch unmittelbar anliegt, wobei gegebenenfalls mittels eines elastischen Dichtelements eine zusätzliche Abdichtung erreicht werden kann.
Zwischen der scharnierseitigen Längskante und der Platte, welche sich bevorzugt im wesentlichen über die gleiche Höhe wie der Türflügel erstreckt, ist ein Überlappungsbereich vorhanden, welcher nach Art einer Labyrinthdichtung das Austreten von Spritzwasser beim Duschen zuverlässig verhindert. Gegebenenfalls kann zusätzlich im Bereich der scharnierseitigen Längskante des Türflügels noch ein insbesondere elastisches Dichtelement vorgesehen sein. Der zweite Scharnierteil ist bezüglich des Distanzkörpers in horizontaler Richtung einstellbar, und zwar aufgrund des erwähnten Einstellelements. Somit kann der Türflügel in der erforderlichen Weise justiert werden, um insbesondere im Bereich seiner horizontalen Unterkante über seine gesamte Breite einen möglichst gleichmäßigen und / oder möglichst kleinen Abstand zur Oberkante des Randes einer Duschwanne oder - falls eine solche nicht vorhanden ist - zum Boden des Duschraumes aufzuweisen. Gegebenenfalls ist an der Unterkante des Türflügels ein elastisches Dichtelement zur Abdichtung und zur Vermeidung des Austritts von Spritzwasser vorgesehen.
Weiterbildungen und besondere Ausgestaltungen der Erfindung sind in den Unteransprüchen sowie in der weiteren Beschreibung angegeben.

Fig. 1 zeigt eine Ansicht der Duschtrennwand, welche in der Ecke zwischen zwei Raumwänden 2, 3 angeordnet ist und zwei Türflügel 4, 5 enthält. Die Duschtrennwand ist als Diagonaleinstieg ausgebildet, und nach Aufschwenken der Türflügel 4, 5 nach außen in den Außenraum 6 kann ein Benutzer in den Duschinnenraum 8 eintreten, welcher in der dargestellten geschlossenen Position der beiden Türflügel 4, 5 mittels der beiden Türflügel 4, 5 abgetrennt ist. Wandseitig sind den beiden Türflügeln 4, 5 jeweils eine Platte 10, 11 zugeordnet. Die beiden Türflügel 4, 5 sind mittels jeweils zwei vertikal beabstandeten, übereinstimmend ausgebildeten Scharnieren 12 um vertikale Schwenk achsen schwenkbar.
Alternativ kann die Duschtrennwand im Rahmen der Erfindung auch nur einen einzigen Türflügel, beispielsweise den Türflügel 4 aufweisen, wobei anstelle des zweiten Türflügels 5 ein feststehendes und nicht schwenkbares Wandelement vorgesehen ist. Wesentlich ist, daß der wenigstens eine Türflügel samt zugeordneter Platte mittels den beiden, vertikal beabstandet, vorzugsweise im Bereich des unteren und oberen Endes des Türflügels vorgesehenen Scharnieren 12 in der nachfolgend zu erläuternden Weise einstellbar befestigt ist.
Fig. 2 zeigt in einer horizontalen Schnittebene das obere Scharnier 12, welches einen ersten mit dem Türflügel 4 verbundenen Scharnierteil 14 und einen zweiten wandseitigen Scharnierteil 16 enthält. Im Bereich der scharnierseitigen Längskante 18 enthält der Türflügel 4 zwei Bohrungen für Schrauben 20, mittels welchen bevorzugt über eine Zwischenplatte 22 die Befestigung des Türflügels 4 mit dem ersten Scharnierteil erfolgt. Insbesondere der erste Scharnierteil 14 enthält in die genannten Bohrungen des Türflügels 4 eingreifende Ansätze 24, um Beschädigungen des Türflügels durch die genannten Schrauben 20 zu vermeiden. Die Zwischenplatte 22 weist in bevorzugter Weise auf der dem Türflügel 4 abgewandten Seite eine kleine Ausnehmung 26 auf, in welche eine Abdeckplatte zum Abdecken der Schrauben 20 bzw. deren Köpfe angeordnet wird.
Der Türflügel 4 steht in der dargestellten geschlossenen Position über dem Rand einer hier mit gestrichelten Linien 28 angedeuteten Duschwanne. Der Raumwand 2 zugeordnet ist eine Platte 30, welche in zweckmäßiger Weise aus dem gleichen Material, insbesondere aus Glas, besteht wie der Türflügel 4. An der Raumwand 2 ist ein Lagerbock 32, insbesondere mittels Schrauben und Dübeln befestigt. Die Platte 30 erstreckt sich im wesentlichen über die gleiche Höhe wie der Türflügel 4, und sie enthält ein im wesentlichen horizontal verlaufendes Langloch 34, durch welches ein Befestigungselement 36 durchgreift. Dem Befestigungselement 36 und insbesondere dem Kopf der Schraube ist eine Unterlegscheibe 37 zugeordnet, welche eine größere Höhe aufweist, als die quer zur Zeichenebene gemessene Höhe des Langloches 38 im Lagerbock 32, so daß eine sichere Abstützung des Befestigungselements 36 bezüglich des Lagerbocks 32 sichergestellt ist. Auch der Lagerbock 32 enthält ein im wesentlichen horizontales Langloch 38 für das Befestigungselement 36.
Auf der dem Lagerbock gegenüberliegenden Seite der Platte 30 ist ein Distanzkörper 40 gleichfalls mit einem im wesentlichen horizontalen Langloch 42 vorgesehen. Das Befestigungselement 36 durchdringt den Distanzkörper 40 bzw. dessen Langloch 42 und ist mit dem zweiten wandseitigen Scharnierteil 16 verbunden. Der Distanzkörper 40 besitzt eine Dicke 44 derart, daß zwischen der Platte 30 und dem Türflügel 4 bzw. dessen scharnierseitiger Längskante 18 in der dargestellten geschlossenen Position ein vorgegebener Abstand 46 vorhanden ist. In der geschlossenen Position steht erfindungsgemäß der Türflügel 4 in einer Vertikalebene, welche im wesentlichen parallel und versetzt zur Vertikalebene der Platte 30 verläuft, und zwar insbesondere zum Außenraum 6 vor der Platte 30. Darüber hinaus ist es von besonderer Bedeutung, daß der Türflügel 4 bzw. dessen scharnierseitige Längskante 18 bezüglich der Platte 30 einen vorgebbaren Überlappungsbereich 48 vorhanden ist, um so nach Art einer Labyrinthdichtung eine funktionssichere Abdichtung zu gewährleisten. Zusätzlich kann an der scharnierseitigen Längskante 18 noch ein Dichtelement, vorzugsweise aus elastischem Material, vorgesehen sein. Des weiteren sind Justiermittel 52 vorgesehen, um in Richtung des Doppelpfeiles 54 eine Einstellung oder Justierung des zweiten Scharnierteiles 16 bezüglich des Distanzkörpers 40 zu ermöglichen. Des weiteren ist aufgrund des Langloches 38 im Lagerbock 32 eine Einstellung des zweiten Scharnierteiles 16 und letztendlich des Türflügels 4 bezüglich der Raumwand 2 durchführbar. Aufgrund des Langloches 34 in der Platte 30 kann diese bezüglich der Raumwand 2 in der erforderlichen Weise eingestellt werden. Nach Abschluss der Montage- und Justierarbeiten wird ein Abdeckelement 56 am Lagerbock 32 bevorzugt mittels einer Rast- bzw. Schnappverbindung 58 befestigt.
Der Türflügel weist zweckmäßig etwa in der Mitte seiner Höhe im Bereich des Außenraumes 6 einen Türgriff 60 auf, welchem im Bereich des Duschinnenraumes 8 in zweckmäßiger Weise ein Halteknopf 62 zugeordnet ist. Der Türgriff 60 und der Halteknopf 62 sind mittels hier nicht weiter dargestellter Schrauben miteinander verbunden. Der Halteknopf 62 enthält eine Ausnehmung 64, welche der erwähnten Ausnehmung 26 der Zwischenplatte 22 entspricht und bevorzugt identisch mit dieser ausgebildet ist. wobei in die genannten Ausnehmungen 26, 64 übereinstimmend ausgebildete Abdeckplatten einsetzbar sind.
Fig. 3 zeigt einen Schnitt durch den zweiten Scharnierteil 16, den Distanzkörper 40 und den Lagerbock 32. Der Lagerbock 32 enthält in bevorzugter Weise eine Anzahl von Löchern 66, 68, welche die problemlose Befestigung an der insbesondere mit Kacheln versehenen Raumwand ermöglichen. Die dem Kopf des Befestigungselements 36 zugeordnete Unterlegscheibe 37 ist gleichfalls zu erkennen, welche eine größere Höhe aufweist als das Langloch 34 des Lagerbocks 32 und somit eine funktionssichere Festlegung des Befestigungselements 36 auf dem Lagerbock 32 gewährleistet.
Das Befestigungselement 36 ist in dem zweiten Scharnierteil 40 verankert, welcher orthogonal zur Zeichenebene bezüglich des Lagerbocks 32 und / oder bezüglich des Distanzkörpers 40 einstellbar ist. Der zweite Scharnierteil 16 greift mit einem zum Lagerbock 32 weisenden Ansatz 70 zumindest teilweise in das Langloch 42 des Distanzkörpers 40 ein. Der Ansatz 70 enthält wenigstens eine Gewindebohrung 71, 72, welche Bestandteil der erläuterten Justiermittel zur Justierung des Scharnierteils 16 bezüglich des Distanzkörpers 40 sind. Der Ansatz 70 und das Langloch 42 enthalten einander zugeordnete Führungsflächen derart, daß eine funktionsgerechte Parallelführung des zweiten Scharnierteils 16 sichergestellt ist. In zweckmäßiger Weise besitzen sowohl der zweite Scharnierteil 16 als auch der Distanzkörper 40 einander zugeordnete und in zweckmäßiger Weise geneigte Führungs- und Anlageflächen 74, 76, welche nach dem Festziehen des Befestigungselements bzw. der Schraube 36 eine form- und / oder kraftschlüssige Verbindung des zweiten Scharnierteils 16 mit dem Distanzkörper 40 sicherstellen.
Fig. 4 zeigt teilweise den Türflügel in der geöffneten Position, wobei die beiden Scharnierteile 14 und 16 um die zur Zeichenebene orthogonale Schwenkachse 78 in einem rechten Winkel aufgeschwenkt sind. Als weiteres Justiermittel ist eine Schraube 80 zu erkennen, welche in die Gewindebohrung 71 des Ansatzes 70 des zweiten Scharnierteils 16 eingeschraubt ist. Die Schraube 80 ist insbesondere als Imbusschraube ausgebildet und kann mittels eines geeigneten Werkzeuges, hier eines Imbusschlüssels 82, gedreht werden. Entsprechend der Drehrichtung 84 wird der Scharnierteil 16 gemäß Doppelpfeil 54 bezüglich des Distanzkörpers 40 und / oder des Lagerbocks 32 in der gewünschten Weise justiert. Es ist ersichtlich, daß somit für den Türflügel 4 entsprechend dem Doppelpfeil 54 einerseits die Breitenverstellung und andererseits der Schrägenausgleich bzw. die gewünschte horizontale Ausrichtung der Unterkante vorgenommen werden kann, wobei die genannten Justiermaßnahmen sowohl am oberen als auch am unteren Scharnier in der den Erfordernissen entsprechenden Weise durchgeführt werden.
Fig. 5 zeigt eine weitere Ausführungsform, wobei nunmehr der Lagerbock 32 nicht direkt dem Scharnier 12 bzw. dem zweiten Scharnierteil 16 zugeordnet ist, sondern in horizontaler Richtung beabstandet davon. Die Platte 30 weist hierbei eine erheblich größere Breite als im vorangegangenen Ausführungsbeispiel auf, und sie enthält ein zusätzliches Langloch 86, durch welches ein weiteres Befestigungselement 88 bzw. eine Schraube durchgreift, welche einerseits mit dem Lagerbock 32 und andererseits mit einem an der Außenseite der Platte 30 angeordneten Verbindungskörper 90 gekoppelt ist. Nach der Befestigung des Lagerbocks 32 an der Raumwand 2 oder einem feststehenden Wandelement wird zunächst die Platte 30 bezüglich der Raumwand 2 bzw. dem Wandelement ausgerichtet. Es sei festgehalten, daß auch bei dieser Ausführungsform zwei Lagerböcke 32 vertikal beabstandet zueinander angeordnet sind, so daß ohne weiteres ein Schrägausgleich durchführbar ist. Nachfolgend wird entsprechend vorstehenden Ausführungen der zweite wandseitige Scharnierteil 16 bezüglich der Platte 30 ausgerichtet und justiert.
Diese zweite Ausführungsform der Duschtrennwand enthält keinen zweiten Türflügel, sondern ein feststehendes Wandelement 92, wobei zwischen den einander zugeordneten freien Längskanten des Türflügels 4 und des Wandelements 92 hier nicht weiter dargestellte, geeignete elastische Dichtungen vorgesehen sind. Zur Abfangung des feststehenden Wandelements 92 ist an dessen Oberkante ein Verbindungsbügel 94 vorgesehen, welcher mit der gegenüberliegenden Raumwand 2 in nicht weiter dargestellter Weise verbunden ist.
Fig. 6 und 7 zeigen in einer Ansicht bzw. in einer vertikalen Schnittebene den oberen Randbereich des feststehenden Wandelements 92 sowie den Verbindungsbügel 94. Der Verbindungsbügel 94 ist zweckmäßig als Hohlprofil ausgebildet und enthält an seiner Unterseite eine Öffnung 95, durch welche das obere Ende eines Haltekörpers 96 eingreift. Der Haltekörper 96 weist einen gestuften Querschnitt auf und übergreift mit einem Schenkel 98 die Oberkante des Wandelements 92. Zweckmäßig auf der dem Duschinnenraum zugeordneten Innenseite ist eine Klemmplatte 100 vorgesehen, welche bezüglich des Haltekörpers 96 mittels einer Schraube 102 gesichert ist. Die Schraube 102 ist durch eine obere Bohrung 104 des Verbindungsbügels 94 durchgeführt und durchdringt sowohl den oberen Teil des Haltekörpers 96 als auch einen Arm 106 der Klemmplatte 100. Zwischen dem Schenkel 98 und der Klemmplatte 100 ist ein Spalt 108 vorhanden, in welchen der obere Rand des Wandelements 92 eingesetzt ist. Der Arm 106 weist ein Innengewinde auf, in welchen die Schraube 102 eingeschraubt ist, wobei am unteren Ende der Schraube 102 zur Sicherung der Klemmplatte vor der Montage ein Sicherungsring 110 vorgesehen ist. Die Klemmplatte 100 besitzt in bevorzugter Weise einen Schwenknocken 112, welcher am Boden 114 des Haltekörpers 96 derart anliegt, daß die Klemmplatte 100 eine Schwenkbewegung in Richtung des Pfeiles 116 zum Festklemmen des Wandelements 92 mit dem Schenkel 98 durchführen kann. Durch Festziehen der Schraube 104, beispielsweise mittels des Imbusschlüssels 118, wird somit sowohl der Haltekörper 96 am Verbindungsbügel 94 befestigt als auch infolge der Schwenkung der Klemmplatte 100 der obere Rand des feststehenden Wandelements 92 zwischen der Klemmplatte 100 und dem Haltekörper 96 bzw. dessen nach unten gerichteten Schenkel 98 eingeklemmt. Mittels eines Verschlußstopfens 120 ist das offene Ende des Verbindungsbügels 94 abgeschlossen.

Claims (10)

  1. Duschtrennwand mit wenigstens einem Türflügel (4, 5), welcher mittels zwei vertikal beabstandet angeordneten Scharnieren (12) um eine vertikale Schwenkachse schwenkbar gelagert ist, wobei den Scharnieren (12) jeweils ein Lagerbock (32) zur Verbindung mit einer Raumwand (2, 3) oder einem Wandelement zugeordnet ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß im Bereich der Scharniere (12) eine Platte (30) vorgesehen ist, welche einen vorgegebenen Abstand (46) zur scharnierseitigen Längskante (18) des Türflügels (4) aufweist, wobei ferner ein einstellbarer Überlappungsbereich (48) vorhanden ist, und daß die Platte (30) bezüglich des Lagerbocks (32) einstellbar angeordnet ist.
  2. Duschtrennwand nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß Justiermittel (52) zur Einstellung des Scharniers und insbesondere dessen zweiten Scharnierteils (16) bezüglich des Lagerbocks (32) vorgesehen sind und / oder daß diese Scharniermittel wenigstens eine Schraube (80) enthalten, welche mit dem zweiten Scharnierteil (16) in Eingriff ist.
  3. Duschtrennwand, insbesondere nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß zwischen der Platte (30) und dem zweiten Scharnierteil (16) ein Distanzkörper (40) vorgesehen ist und / oder daß der zweite Scharnierteil (16) bezüglich des Distanzkörpers (40) im wesentlichen in horizontaler Richtung einstellbar ist und/oder daß der Lagerbock (32) mittels des Befestigungselements (36) mit dem zweiten Scharnierteil (16) und / oder dem Distanzkörper (40) verbunden ist.
  4. Duschtrennwand nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Platte (30) jeweils im Bereich des Scharniers (12) ein Langloch (34) aufweist, durch welches ein mit dem zweiten Scharnierteil (16) in Eingriff stehendes Befestigungselement (36), insbesondere eine Schraube, durchgreift.
  5. Duschtrennwand nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß einerseits die Platte (30) mit dem Lagerbock (32) verbunden ist und andererseits in horizontaler Richtung beabstandet vom Lagerbock (32) mit der Platte (30) der Scharnierteil (16) verbunden ist, wobei die Platte (30) sowohl ein dem Lagerbock (32) zugeordnetes Langloch (86) als auch das dem zweiten Scharnierteil (16) zugeordnete Langloch (34) enthält.
  6. Duschtrennwand nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der zweite Scharnierteil (16) einen Ansatz (70) aufweist, welcher zumindest teilweise in das Langloch (42) des Distanzkörpers (40) eingreift, und welcher wenigstens eine Gewindebohrung (71, 72) für die Justiermittel (52) und / oder die Schraube (80) enthält.
  7. Duschtrennwand, insbesondere nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß ein feststehendes Wandelement (92) vorgesehen ist, zu welchem der Türflügel (4) in der geschlossenen Position in einem vorgegebenen Winkel, insbesondere vom im wesentlichen 90°, angeordnet ist, und daß im Bereich der Oberkante des Wandelements (92) ein Verbindungsbügel (94) mittels eines Haltekörpers (96) und einer Klemmplatte (100) angeordnet ist.
  8. Duschtrennwand nach Anspruch 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Klemmplatte (100) einen Schwenknocken (112) aufweist und mittels einer Schraube (102) bezüglich des Haltekörpers (96) derart schwenkbar ist, daß der obere Rand des feststehenden Wandelements (92) zwischen dem Haltekörper (96) und der Klemmplatte (100) festklemmbar ist.
  9. Duschtrennwand nach Anspruch 7 oder 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß mittels der Schraube (102) sowohl der Haltekörper (96) mit dem Verbindungsbügel (94) verbindbar ist als auch das feststehende Wandelement (92) zwischen einem Schenkel (98) des Haltekörpers (96) und der Klemmplatte (100) festklemmbar ist.
  10. Duschtrennwand nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Türflügel (4, 5) in der geschlossenen Position einen Abstand (49) zur Platte (30) aufweist und / oder bevorzugt in Richtung zum Außenraum (6) vor der Platte (30) in einer zur Plattenebene parallelen Vertikalebene angeordnet ist.
