- Limiting scissors for a rotating, tilting or arranged in a frame Tilt-and-turn blades are known as such. They serve to limit the rotation or Tilt range, so generally the pivoting movement of the wing in question, mostly 90 °.
- Such limiting scissors - also known as folding scissors - is for one in a frame arranged turn, turn-tilt or tilt-turn sash from the DE 44 07 245 became known.
- the known limiting scissors have bearing eyes at their ends, each on a pivot pin of the scissor bearings are pivotally mounted.
- a first hinge pin is each part of a frame side and a second hinge pin part of the wing side Scissor bearing.
- the position of the scissor stay is determined using a template set up and then for the purpose of pre-assembly by hammering into the frame anchored, with a cutting edge attached to the underside of the scissor bearing cuts in the casement or frame. Then the anchorage takes place Scissor stay using screws to be screwed into the frame or window frame.
- the known folding shear is made in two parts, the two telescopic parts each have a curved groove in which a holding pin slidably slides.
- the Curve groove also has notches in which the retaining pins when passing through the Intervene in the curve groove and achieve a braking effect.
- the assembly is cumbersome and time-consuming and on the other hand, by driving the scissor stay into the frame and Window frames slightly damaged.
- the local damage can be caused by climatic influence lead to unnoticed erosion of the frame.
- the erosion can undetected affect the strength of the screw connection so that it can solve suddenly.
- they are expensive to transport Take security measures and pay special attention to small parts dedicate, as these are easily lost on the construction site.
- Another limiting shear is under the designation WSS-Tilt-wing and Limiting scissors from Wilhelm Schlechtendahl & Sons on the market.
